Country superstar Luke Combs will bring his 2024 stadium tour to Utah next June.

The singer-songwriter announced Tuesday that he will perform 25 shows in 13 cities, from April to August 2024, on his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” tour. One of those cities is Salt Lake City, where Combs will perform Friday and Saturday, June 7 and 8, 2024, at Rice-Eccles Stadium on the University of Utah campus.

Tickets for Combs’ shows will go on sale Friday, Aug. 25, on the singer’s website, LukeCombs.com .

The two shows will have different set lists from Combs and different supporting acts, so Combs is encouraging fans to buy tickets for both nights.

The Friday show will feature country acts Cody Jinks , Charles Wesley Godwin , Hailey Whitters and The Wilder Blue .

The Saturday show will spotlight country performers Jordan Davis , Mitchell Tenpenny , Drew Parker and Colby Acuff .

Combs is the Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year for two years running. His other hits include “When It Rains It Pours,” “Hurricane,” “She Got the Best of Me” and “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”

He was amazing as always. First time seeing Ashley, only knew a few songs. I left the concert a bigger fan for her. Did not get to see Drew perform due to the traffic. To & from the arena it was crazy insane..

This gig was simply OUTSTANDING.

Ashley McBryde and Luke Combs might just be the best show combo I've ever seen.

From beginning to end this was a truly memorable experience.

Luke Combs Announces 2023 World Tour with Opening Acts Lainey Wilson, Riley Green and Cody Johnson

Also featuring Flatland Cavalry, Brent Cobb and Lane Pittman as special guests, Luke Combs' 2023 world tour will span 35 shows in 16 countries on three different continents

Luke Combs ' travel plans for 2023 are locked in.

On Thursday, the "Forever After All" singer-songwriter, 32, announced the dates and opening acts for his upcoming 2023 world tour, which will see him perform 35 shows in 16 countries on three different continents, via Instagram .

The tour kicks off on March 25 in Arlington, Texas, and Combs will perform shows in cities including Nashville, Detroit and Chicago before concluding the U.S. leg with a show in Philadelphia on July 29. He'll then play a string of concerts across Oceania through the end of August.

At the end of September, Combs will launch a European leg of concerts, followed by several UK dates before the tour wraps in late October.

Riley Green, Lainey Wilson , Flatland Cavalry and Brent Cobb will join Combs as supporting acts for the U.S. leg of the tour, while Cody Johnson and Lane Pittman will open shows in New Zealand and Australia.

"Buddy… @lukecombs , you best not get tired of me!" quipped Wilson, 30, in an Instagram post about the tour.

Fans can visit Combs' website and join his club for information on pre-sales for the upcoming tour, while tickets go on sale for the public on Sept. 16.

Combs is currently on the road, performing shows in North America before concluding his current tour dates in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Dec. 9 and 10 — giving the musician just over three months of rest and relaxation before he sets out to travel the globe.

Last weekend, the country star made headlines for going the extra mile to help fans out when he gave a pair of young concertgoers cash to cover the cost of their tickets after discovering 12-year-old Bo Fenderson and Tanner Hale spent 10 hours stacking wood in order to make money to purchase the tickets for last Friday's show in Bangor, Maine.

While performing, Combs spotted a the boys holding a sign and read about their journey aloud from the stage, according to local NBC affiliate WCSH . At that point, he opened up his wallet and gave the pair $140 to help cover the ticket costs.

"How much were you tickets? $100? $200? Y'all paid $200, a hundred dollars apiece. Oh my God, I only got $140 right here," the singer said, according to CBS affiliate WABI . "Y'all want that, pay yourselves back. I'll get you some more."

Earlier this week, before starting his Saturday night concert at Maine Savings Amphitheater, Combs told concertgoers that he refunded everyone's tickets and would play for free due to vocal issues.

"I have to let you know that I have refunded all of your tickets. As of 7 p.m. today, a few hours ago, I realized that I was not going to be able to sing as good as I normally do," he said in a surprising announcement that was captured on video by numerous fans.

"[My voice is not] what I think it should be for you guys having to pay for it," he continued , adding: "So, we're going to put on the best free show we could put on, and I want you guys to know how upset I am to have to tell you that tonight, but all I want you to know is that we're going to do the very damn best."

The upcoming tour is just the latest milestone in an already monumental career for Combs, whose acclaimed new album, Growin’ Up , debuted at #1 on Billboard ’s Top Country Albums chart this past June. Out now via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville (stream/purchase here ), Growin’ Up was produced by Combs, Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton and is his third studio album following 2019’s 3x Platinum  What You See is What You Get  and his 4x Platinum debut,  This One’s For You . The record also features his current single, “ The Kind of Love We Make ,” which debuted at #17 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart—the highest chart debut since January 2020—and is currently top 5 and rising. The single adds to a historic run at country radio for Combs, who recently achieved his record-breaking, thirteenth-consecutive #1 as his single, “Doin’ This,” reached the top of both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.

Critical acclaim for Growin’ Up :

“one of country music’s biggest stars…He’s accomplished this not with virtuosic musical innovation, genre-crossing celebrity collaborations or by hosting a television singing competition, but by cranking out one irrepressibly catchy, widely relatable meat-and-potatoes country anthem after another.” — The New York Times

“an authentic creative force, capitalizing on his man-of-the-people status to release music that resonates with wide swaths of listeners…as an artist, he’s making his biggest strides yet”— Grammy.com

“He’s emerged as the field’s much-loved everyman with hits that country aficionados could not possibly resist”— The Wall Street Journal

“his detail-rich songs make  Growin’ Up  a big-time country album with a tip-jar-worthy intimacy” — Rolling Stone

“a superstar”— Billboard

“Take a voice that projects major-league virility but also vulnerability, sprinkle in some core-songwriting-team prowess with lyrical and musical hooks, and then most of all, don’t step on the agreeable, humble personality of somebody who—in contrast to a lot of the bro-country that’s been out there—seems like someone you wouldn’t mind having as an actual brother.”— Variety

“one of music’s mightiest voices and a hitmaking force arguably unlike any seen out of Nashville this century”— USA Today

“an uncharacteristically humble, down-to-earth, hardworking, fiercely loyal teddy bear of a country star…a true country-music behemoth”— Vulture

“Luke Combs isn’t just a country star…he made an excellent case for being a top-tier pop star, regardless of genre.”— The Tennessean

“Combs struts his usual guitar-heavy songs with a certain nuance”— American Songwriter

A member of the Grand Ole Opry and a 6x CMA, 3x ACM, 3x  Billboard  Music Award-winner, Combs is in the midst of a record-setting and historic series of years. His previous release, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get , debuted at #1 on the all-genre B illboard  200 chart as well as  Billboard ’s Top Country Albums chart. With the record Combs reached #1 on  Rolling Stone ’s Top 200 Albums chart, Top 100 Songs chart and Artists 500 chart—the first country artist ever to lead all three charts in the same week and first to top the Artists 500. He also made history as the first artist ever to have their first two studio albums spend 25 weeks or more at #1 on  Billboard ’s Top Country Albums chart—breaking Taylor Swift’s previously held record at 24 weeks.

Luke Combs sings and plays guitar onstage.

As of right now, Luke Combs is in the middle of somewhere.

The 33-year-old country star has 17 huge stadium concerts remaining on his aptly named ‘Middle Of Somewhere Tour.’

From April 22 through Oct. 20, Combs will bring his hits like “When It Rains It Pours” and “The Kind Of Love We Make” as well as tracks from his latest albums 2022’s “Growin’ Up” and 2023’s “Gettin’ Old” to venues all over the U.S., Canada and Europe .

That includes a headlining spot at Nashville, TN’s CMA Music Festival from June 8-11 alongside fellow megastars Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Cody Johnson, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Old Dominion and Dan + Shay.

And if photos from recent stadium gigs are any indication, Combs is throwing an all-out party for fans on his international trek where he’s taking along special guests Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Flatland Cavalry and Brent Cobb along for the ride on select dates.

Best of all though, tickets are available for all remaining shows and some are quite affordable.

At the time of publication, we found some seats going for as low as $52 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Luke Combs new music

In 2022, Combs dropped “Growin’ Up,” a 12-song celebration of maturing.

“Combs isn’t reinventing Nashville clichés but he does give them a fresh coat of wax,” Rolling Stone raved in their 3.5-star review.

More recently, he released the 18-track “Gettin’ Old.”

The album is an intimate and vulnerable demonstration of Combs’ evolution as an artist — no theatrics, just self-assured vocals and arrangements that demonstrate how comfortable and confident he’s become as a performer.

We’re especially partial to the rousing opening track “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” and his sparse, flash-free cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”

You can hear Combs’ entire catalog dating back to his 2017 debut “This One’s For You” here .

Luke Combs

On Wednesday (July 10), Luke Combs celebrated the opening of his new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum exhibit, Luke Combs: The Man I Am.

The exhibit opens July 11 and runs through June 2025, and is included with museum admission. The exhibit chronicles North Carolina native Combs’s life and career, from growing up in a small-town community to his current status as a two-time Country Music Association entertainer of the year winner and one of country music’s foremost hitmakers.

The exhibit traces some of Combs’s earliest musical moments, such as seeing a Vince Gill concert with his mother and grandmother, his early musical performances in school choirs and musicals, and Combs’ decision to practice guitar while studying criminal justice at Appalachian State University. He began posting cover versions of country and R&B hits, as well as his original music, on platforms including YouTube and Vine.

Combs moved to Nashville in September 2014, at age 24. But he also steadily continued building his audience one concert at a time. He released a few independent EPs, with his song “Hurricane” swiftly connecting with fans.

In 2017, “Hurricane” became Combs’s first No. 1 on Billboard ‘s Hot Country Songs chart and marked a gale-force signaling of a star on the rise–one with a formidable combination of top-shelf songcraft, a humble, hard-working, everyman persona and what would quickly become one of country music’s most distinctive voices.

Two years later, Combs became the first artist to top Billboard ‘s Country Airplay chart with his first five singles — and went on to extend that lead to 13 consecutive chart-toppers (he has now seen 16 solo songs reach the pinnacle of the Country Airplay chart). In 2019, he also ascended to headlining arenas and amphitheaters, then rose to stadium headlining status. His sold-out 2023 world tour not only traversed North America, but displayed his music’s global-spanning reach, as he also headlined in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

He’s also earned three top 10 hits on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 , including 2020’s “Forever After All” and 2022’s “The Kind of Love We Make.” Last year, he earned a No. 2 hit on the Hot 100 (and a five-week Country Airplay chart-topper) with a rendition of Tracy Chapman’s 1988 hit “Fast Car.” The two singer-songwriters would create one of the Grammys’ most talked-about moments of the decade when they joined forces to perform “Fast Car” together in February. The song also earned a Grammy nomination for best country solo performance, and was named single of the year at both the Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards.

Combs’s The Man I Am exhibit displays stage clothes, photographs, childhood memorabilia, manuscripts and set lists from his life and career, but also highlights a key relationship that has sparked and sustained the chart-topping albums, sold-out tours and surging global acclaim: his solid relationship with his fans.

“I’m so excited for the fans to finally see this exhibit,” Combs tells Billboard via email. “The Country Music Hall of Fame has put in a lot of time and effort, and I think it turned out really great. Still crazy to think my things and career need an exhibit, but the fans have made that happen, so this is for them and I hope they enjoy it.”

Below, Combs tells Billboard about five items that highlight his new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

An Audio Cassette of Tracy Chapman’s 1988 Self-Titled Album

Luke Combs, The Man I Am, COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM, This cassette of Tracy Chapman’s self-titled 1988 debut album — which includes “Fast Car” — belongs to Luke Combs’s father, Lee Combs. Luke remembers listening to the tape in his dad’s 1988 Ford F-150 pickup truck when he was young.

“Man, this means a whole lot to me, because it takes me back to days of being a kid and hanging out with my dad,” Combs says. “Kind of like I do now with [sons] Tex and Beau. I hope they have something from their childhood that brings back good memories like this does for me. And it’s also the beginning of my love for ‘Fast Car’ and Tracy’s music as a whole, so it’s special.”

Luke Combs, The Man I Am, COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM, Combs kept this dollar bill as a memento from his first paying gig, at Boone’s Parthenon Café, where the cover charge was a $1.

Featured in the collection is a dollar bill that Combs has kept as a memento from his first paying gig at Boone’s Parthenon Café in Boone, North Carolina, where the cover charge was $1.

“This was the moment I believed I could do this for a living,” Combs says. “I know it was only a dollar per person, but people were willing to pay to hear me play music. It gave me the confidence I needed.”

Crosley Dansette Portable Record Player

Luke Combs, The Man I Am, COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM, Combs used this Crosley Dansette portable record player to share his recording of “Beautiful Crazy” with Nicole Hocking, now his wife, for the first time.

Combs kept this record player, which has sentimental value for Combs and his wife Nicole. The couple wed in 2020.

“[I] still remember the moment I first played Nicole ‘Beautiful Crazy’ like it was yesterday,” Combs said. “I was definitely unsure what she would think, so I was pretty nervous. Thankfully she liked it, and now that’s a memory that means a lot to both of us — so it’s cool to still have the record player.”

A CD With Three Songs Recorded for Combs’s debut EP

Luke Combs, The Man I Am, COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM, This CD-R of the three songs recorded for Combs’s debut EP, The Way She Rides — released independently in 2014 — was signed by Combs and Adam Church and given to Church’s parents. Combs wrote on the paper sleeve, “To the Church’s / Y’all rock SO hard!” Courtesy of Adam Church

Also included in the exhibit is a CD of the three songs Combs recorded for his debut independent EP, The Way She Rides . The CD was signed by Combs and Adam Church and given to Church’s parents. On the paper sleeve, Combs wrote, “To the Church’s/ Y’all rock SO hard!”

“Crazy to think about this, since music distribution has changed so much over the past 10 years,” Combs said. “My kids may not even grow up really knowing what a CD is, but this is how I was able to share my music early on. I would give one to anyone who would take it, but the Church Family is one who means a lot to me, so I was proud to be able to give them one. They have always been huge supporters of my music.”

Handwritten lyrics to His 2022 Country Airplay Chart-Topper “Doin’ This”

Luke Combs, The Man I Am, COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM, These are Rob Williford’s handwritten lyrics for Luke Combs’ country radio hit “Doin’ This,” which Williford co-wrote with Drew Parker.

“I thought it was fitting to have these here, because it’s truly a song that describes who I am,” Combs says. “I really do believe I was born for country music and I’m just forever grateful to all of the people that have given me an opportunity to be a part of the genre, one that has such a history and means a lot to me.”

The PGA Tour's fall schedule is pretty much set.

Believe it or not, the PGA Tour only has five more weeks before the start of the playoffs and then three more weeks before the end of the 2024 FedEx Cup season.

And while the 2025 season no longer begins in September, golf fans still have plenty to look forward to with the second playing of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Fall series.

The FedEx Cup Fall underwent a rebrand and revamp last year in the wake of Ponte Vedra’s decision to shift back to a calendar-based schedule model. Gone was the fall season counting toward next season’s FedEx Cup point total , but it still meant something: Tour cards.

PGA Tour players

Which notable PGA Tour players could lose their cards this fall? It’s complicated

Under the new model, FedEx Cup points from the previous season now carry over to the fall and anyone outside the Top 70 must get within the Top 125 of the standings in order to retain full member status on the PGA Tour for the next season.

The fall series events also award 10 positions in the first two Signature events of the season (the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis in 2024) through the Aon Next 10 list.

While no official schedule has been released, each of the seven official events from the 2023 debut is returning for 2024, as well as the addition of one brand new PGA Tour event, the Black Desert Championship in Utah. There will also be three unofficial events before the year closes out, including the Presidents Cup in September.

Keep reading below for everything we know about the PGA Tour’s Fall 2024 schedule.

In a recent interview with Apple Music, Combs revealed that that day was “one of the best and one of the worst days in [his] life,” and he still finds it “hard to wrap [his] mind around.”

Combs went on to explain that he found out about his son’s birth when he woke up on the other side of the world, getting visibly emotional, “I had a text from my wife and it said, ‘I’m so sorry. I really tried to not have the baby while you were gone.'”

Combs was not able to do that due to being overseas touring when his pregnant wife went into labor. Fighting through tears, Combs reveals all of the details.

The “Where the Wild Things Are” singer continued, while crying, “God dude, it sucked, it sucked. Cause he was born on August 15th in the states, and I got to see him be born, which was awesome.”

Combs continued, “He wasn’t born yet, but my wife went and she text me on the way to the hospital, and he was two and a half weeks early, and I was supposed to be home and I wasn’t, and that was real hard to do.”

You can see the emotional moment in the clip above.

Will the Story of the Birth of His Second Child be Covered in His Next Album?
