Drake is coming. The rapper added 12 new dates to his It’s All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, his first stretch of shows in North America since the “Aubrey & the Three Migos” tour hit arenas in 2018.
The It’s All a Blur tour will kick off in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 29 and extend through Oct. 7 with a final show in Toronto, Ontario. Drake will make stops in Nashville, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, New York, Brooklyn, Montreal, Inglewood, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and more, bringing the tour to a massive 54 shows this summer.
The new set of dates includes a fourth night of shows in both Inglewood and Brooklyn, as well as second nights in Glendale and Nashville. Drake will now also perform on new dates in Columbus, Memphis, Denver, Austin, Milwaukee, and Charlotte. The tour will close out with back-to-back hometown shows at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
The tour announcement follows the reveal of J.Cole’s 2023 Dreamville Festival lineup, which features Drake as a headliner. Since his last tour, Drake has released two mixtapes – Care Package and Dark Lane Demo Tapes – and three studio albums, including 2021’s Certified Lover Boy , the 21 Savage-assisted Her Loss , and his dance music opus Honestly, Nevermind.

Drake’s “It Was All a Blur” tour will make a two-day stop in Charlotte this weekend at Spectrum Center.
Shows start at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23
Preparing for the show
Getting to the show.
DRIVE / PARK Streets nearest the stadium are likely to be crowded before and during the concert, but there are plenty of parking lots and decks within walking distance of Spectrum Center.
Free parking will be very difficult to find, but concertgoers can book street parking ahead through the Spectrum Cneter’s options on the Park Mobile App .
Paid parking closest to Spectrum Center include Hyatt House valet garage at 435 E Trade Street, the parking lot behind Midnight Diner at the corner of Caldwell Street and Trade Street, an open parking lot at the same corner (diagonal from Midnight Diner), an open lot at Caldwell Street and Sixth Street, the parking deck at SpringHill Suites — 311 E. Fifth Street– and inside the deck at Queen City Quarter (formerly the EpiCentre), among others.
Concertgoers can expect to pay anywhere from $5 to upwards of $50 for the special event.
Rideshare like Uber, Lyft and other dropoff options like Joy Rides are available throughout hte weekend.
LIGHTRAIL / PARK & RIDE Charlotte’s light rail, LYNX, has more than 25 stops between UNC Charlotte and Pineville. There are eleven parking options along the route, most of which are free, and allow guests to park their cars before riding. Rides on the light rail are $2.20 per person.
The Charlotte Transportation Center stop is at Spectrum Center and will put guests within a few feet of the entrance.
Other nearby LYNX stops to the stadium are the Convention Center and Seventh Street stations.
Box office, opening time, show start
If you’re planning to purchase last minute tickets, the box office opens at 9:00 a.m.
Resale tickets are available on Ticketmaster and through Gametime.
The show is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. with doors opening 6:30 p.m.
Stadium rules to know about
MOBILE TICKETS ONLY Mobile tickets are required for “all tickets” to Spectrum Center events. According to their website, guests can be access mobile tickets through the Hornets + Spectrum Center App by clicking the “My Tickets” button. The button will then direct guests to log into their Ticketmaster or My Hornets accounts.
For easy access, please have your ticket barcode up on your screen before you reach the entrance of Spectrum Center.
MAIN ENTRANCES OPEN All main entrances at Spectrum Center will be open for the show. Be advised, some entrances may be open only for suite holders.
BAG SIZING & OTHER POLICIES
According to its website, Spectrum Center has a no bag policy it implemented to reduce wait times for entrance. The venue encourages people not to bring bags, but does make an exception for bags smaller than 10”X10”X4”.
Other typical venue policies are likely to remain in place for the concert.
Be sure to double-check the requirements before heading to the concert.
Where to eat nearby
To prepare for the show, get all the energy you’ll need with a nice meal. Reservations will be tough at this point, but there are lots of area restaurants in walking — or a short rideshare or light rail ride — distance of the stadium.
BOCAO SUSHI Located a few blocks from Uptown, in the Music Factory, Bocao Sushi has music, food, an impressive cocktail menu and a great vibe to help you pre-game for the concert. If you’re looking to avoid the Uptown parking craze, you can park near The Music Factory — it’ll cost per hour — and then use a ride share into Uptown and back after the concert.
SPORTS ONE If you’re looking for a good time alongside good fun, Sports One is the place. A few blocks walking distance — or a short light rail ride –from the Spectrum Center, at the edge Uptown, this restaurant has a full bar, comfort food-centered menu and sometimes a DJ. We recommend taking the light rail nearby, walking a lock to the restaurant and then walking — or taking a light rail stop up — to the concert.
MERT’S HEART & SOUL If you’re craving soul food, this place has it. From fried chicken and collard greens to homemade desserts and their staple sweet cornbread, Mert’s is an Uptown Charlotte favorite. We recommend parking at the Holiday Inn Uptown where Mer’s is connected, and then walking two blocks to the concert afterward.
MIDNIGHT DINER An Uptown staple, Midnight Diner is casual and is all-but-guaranteed to be a hotspot before and after the show. The 24-hour eatery offers comfort food, breakfast, cocktails and more. It’s also directly across the street from the Spectrum Center, but be warned: it’ll likely be packed.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.
Just hold on, we’re going on tour.
After teasing a U.S.and Canada jaunt back in December, Drake has finally officially announced his summer 2023 ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour with 21 Savage.
The Toronto-based rapper will play arenas all over North America from June through September .
“Ah, man, I can’t wait to see the people, “ Drake said in his late 2022 podcast appearance talking about his upcoming nationwide trek.
“It’s different when you’re performing, you look out in the crowd, someone locks eyes with you and you can just tell it’s a moment.”
Prior to the tour, Drake is scheduled to headline alongside J. Cole, Usher and Burna Boy at Raleigh, NC’s Dreamville Festival from April 1-2.
Then, midway through the 29-show run, Champagne Papi’s tour stops in New York City for four huge concerts — first up, he’ll play Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on July 17 and July 18 ; the next week, he swings into NYC’s Madison Square Garden for back-to-back gigs on July 25 and July 26 .
‘It’s All A Blur’ will be the hitmaker’s first since his 2018 “Aubrey & The Three Migos Live!” Tour.
And if you need to score tickets today, our “Motto” is that we’re here to help make that happen .
Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, March 17, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
Drake 2023 tour schedule
A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found below.
Drake opening acts
At all shows, Drake will be joined by his oft-collaborator 21 Savage.
The 30-year-old rapper is known for his singles “A Lot” and “Rich Flex” as well his verses on “Creepin'” and “Jimmy Cooks.”
Most recently, he put out the single “Peaches and Eggplants” with Young Nudy.
Drake set list
Although Drake hasn’t toured in five years, he did perform two nights at New York City’s Apollo Theater on Jan 21-22.
Each show was a true, all-out career retrospective — both nights, he played over 40 tracks including “One Dance,” “Passionfruit,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “Started From The Bottom” and “Laugh Now, Cry Later” as well as a handful of surprising covers.
If you want to see what Drake played on both nights as well as what he’s played at every gig as far back as his first show in 2009, take a look at Set List FM .
Drake new music
Drake is nothing if not prolific.
In 2022, he released two albums, “Honestly, Nevermind” and “Her Loss.”
Before that, the Toronto native and former “Degrassi” star dropped the 21-song “Certified Lover Boy” in 2021.
This year, he collaborated with Popcaan on the sure to be club favorite single “We Caa Done.”

Inside Drake’s 1st N.J. concert in 10 years: The 5 biggest moments

Drake expansive “It’s All a Blur Tour,” roaming the U.S. since last summer, saved the best for last Thursday night, finishing the 82-date roadshow with two sold-out performances at Prudential Center in Newark. Throughout the tour supporting his albums “For All the Dogs” and “Her Loss” (with 21 Savage) the Canadian superstar has been joined on stage by frequent collaborators from 21 Savage to J. Cole to Lil Yachty and Travis Scott (though that’s seemed to have soured — more on that later.)
Caution: Some of the below videos may contain profanity.
For his first New Jersey concert in 10 years, the whole night aptly felt like a giant blur of oversized levitating props and fiery moments with a dash of heartfelt reflection from the artist.
While the two-hour show felt overstuffed at times, there was certainly plenty to write home about. Here are the five most memorable moments from Drake’s overdue Garden State homecoming.
Drake appears to shoot at a large, floating Travis Scott head
Drake didn’t hesitate to come out with shots firing early in the show’s first half. In an explosive moment, Drake performed “Meltdown” — a song by Travis Scott from his “Utopia” album featuring the rapper — and as a fake, oversized floating head of Scott makes its way toward the stage, Drake fired fake gunshots at it. For context: rappers Metro Boomin’, Future and Kendrick Lamar released a collaborative song “Like That” in which Lamar responded to a J. Cole’s lyric claiming there is “no big three — it’s just big me,” taking shots at both J. Cole and Drake. To add fuel to the fire, Scott was spotted requesting Future and Metro Boomin’ to perform the song at the Rolling Loud festival. While Drake hasn’t directly addressed the diss track, several other music outlets reported that he appeared to fire gunshots at the head prop at more recent shows suggesting there might be beef between the two.
Drake honors fallen fans
A few songs after the fiery Travis Scott moment, Drake shifted gears to give a speech about how short life is and to remind fans to be grateful for everything in their life (and later on, he gave another impassioned speech about how ignoring the haters in your life). He took some time to remember two of his fans — a mother and daughter from Chicago — who were killed after his St. Louis concert in February after a driver ran red light and hit them. He then asked fans to turn to a stranger in the audience and show gratitude to them.
Drake shows his altruistic side
Throughout the tour, fans have documented Drake’s gift-giving ways including his promises to cover a fan’s surgery bill to paying off the mortgage for a fan’s late mother . During the first night of his Newark show, the rapper offered to fund a some fans’ hardships including paying for a woman’s divorce lawyer and offering to give $25,000 to a woman who beat cancer. Along with the tribute, these were some of the more heartfelt moments of the two-hour show though it was undermined by the fake giant floating bra (a reference to the collection of bras that have been thrown at the rapper on stage throughout the tour) next to him the entire time.
Drake performs with Lil Wayne
Rap icon and Young Money mentor Lil Wayne has joined Drake during other stops on the tour, but performing in Newark felt like a full circle moment for the duo who last performed in the state together at in Holmdel 10 years ago. In Lil Wayne fashion, the rapper came onto the stage taking a huge hit from a joint before diving into his set of solo songs. While it seemed like he struggled to get through a few of the tracks (teleprompters were set up for Lil Wayne with lyrics of his songs), he pepped up when Drake got on stage to perform songs like “She Will” and “I’m on One.”
Drake slimes a fan
Pulling a page out of Nickelodeon’s “Slime Time Live,” Drake brought a fan (who “volunteered as tribute,” as Drake noted) on stage during his performance of “Slime You Out” in which three of his backup dancers encircled the young man, while the rapper performed the entire song. Drake began the show talking to a younger version of himself — and in his final performance, him and one of his dancers hyped up the mostly young crowd before dousing the willing subject in green ooze.

Drake and J. Cole's beef with Kendrick Lamar explained as '7 Minute Drill' rapper apologizes
- J. Cole apologized to Kendrick Lamar on Sunday over his diss track, "7 Minute Drill."
- It came after Lamar dissed J. Cole and Drake on Future and Metro Boomin's song "Like That."
- It all ties into a long-running beef between Lamar and Drake.
J. Cole has apologized as the beef between himself, Kendrick Lamar , and Drake — who hip-hop is now calling the "Big 3" — rages on.
Late last month, Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake and Cole on Future and Metro Boomin's track "Like That" from their latest collaborative album, "We Don't Trust You." In his verse, Lamar referenced Drake's latest album, "For All the Dogs," specifically the track "First Person Shooter," which features Cole. (It's a song that Lamar was rumored to be featured on too, but apparently never materialized.)
In "First Person Shooter," Cole and Drake brag about being the "Big 3" rappers in hip-hop alongside Lamar. But Lamar distances himself from the other two in "Like That."
"Motherfuck the big three, n****, it's just big me," Lamar rapped.
The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart last week amid the drama.
Cole fired back on Friday with the song "7 Minute Drill" from his 12-track EP "Might Delete Later," which features Gucci Mane, Ari Lennox, and others. In the song, Cole mocks Lamar's waning popularity with his latest album, " Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers ," and his "second shit," which could refer to Lamar's second album, "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City," but fans believe is about "To Pimp A Butterfly," as most people don't count 2011's "Section.80" as his first.
Two days after the song was released, Cole apologized to Lamar during his performance at the Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina. It came after hip-hop's loudest voices, namely Joe Budden, expected Cole to continue the beef onstage. Instead, he shocked the hip-hop world and apologized.
"I just want to come up here and publicly be like, bruh, that was the lamest, goofiest shit," Cole said. "And I pray that y'all are like, forgive a n**** for the misstep and I can get back to my true path. Because I ain't gonna lie to y'all. The past two days felt terrible."
Here's what to know about the feud between Drake , Cole, and Lamar.
Drake and Lamar have been throwing digs at each other since 2013.
Lamar and Drake started out as friends, with Lamar opening for Drake's "Club Paradise" tour in 2012. The pair's feud began when Lamar rapped that he was better than all the rising rap stars, including Drake and Cole, when he featured on Big Sean's 2013 song "Control."
"And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller / I got love for you all, but I'm tryna murder you n*****," he rapped.
Drake appeared to respond on the track "The Language" from his 2013 album, " Nothing Was the Same ," rapping: "I don't know why they been lyin' but your shit is not that inspirin'/ Bank account statement just look like I'm ready for early retirement / Fuck any n**** that's talking that shit just to get a reaction."
The two rappers last featured on the same song in 2013 and, since then, have made small digs at each other in their tracks and in interviews.
In 2015, many fans believe that Lamar accused Drake of using a ghostwriter, pointing to Lamar's 2015 track "King Kunta," where he raps, "I can dig rappin', but a rapper with a ghostwriter? / What the fuck happened?"
Lamar hasn't confirmed if the "King Kunta" lyric is about Drake.

Later that year, Meek Mill also accused Drake of using a ghostwriter in a since-deleted post on X, which Drake denied in a 2019 interview with Rap Radar .
The pair have also taken different paths artistically, with Lamar earning critical acclaim, including winning a Pulitzer prize for "Damn" in 2018 and 17 Grammys . Drake is more commercially successful, with 15 songs with over a billion streams on Spotify compared to Kendrick's five.
Cole entered the beef after appearing on "For All The Dogs."
Drake's 2023 track " First Person Shooter ," featuring Cole, is all about the two being the greatest rappers ever. Cole, who is friends with Lamar, references him in the song
"Love when they argue the hardest MC / Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?" Cole raps, referring to Lamar's nickname, "K-Dot," and Drake's birth name Aubrey. "We the big three like we started a league, but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali."
Drake ends the song by comparing his success to that of the late Michael Jackson , who is the sixth best-selling artist of all time. In October 2023, Drake scored his 13th Billboard Hot 100 No.1, tying with Jackson.
Lamar's verse in "Like That" alludes to these lyrics, the song title, "First Person Shooter," and Drake's 2023 album title, " For All the Dogs ."
"Fuck sneak dissin', first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches," Lamar raps.
"N****, Prince outlived Mike Jack'," Lamar raps later, referencing a 2017 song, "Mask Off (Remix)," where he compares himself to Prince. Prince and Jackson also had a long-standing beef when they were alive.
Lamar ends the verse referencing Drake's latest album: "'Fore all your dogs gettin' buried /That's a K with all these nines, he gon' see Pet Sematary (Yeah)."
A week after the song dropped last month, Drake appeared to respond to Lamar during a concert in Florida as part of his "It's All A Blur Tour: Big As In What?" with Cole.
Drake officially addresses Kendrick Lamar on stage “I got my head held high, my back straight, I’m ten f**king toes down… and I know no matter what there’s not another n**ga that could ever f*ck with me on this Earth” pic.twitter.com/4xJZ1kX8uS — Grand/THE WIZRD🔮⁶𓅓 (@grandwizardcn) March 25, 2024
"A lot of people ask me how I'm feeling. I'mma let you know I'm feeling," Drake said in a video shared on X. "I got my fucking head up high, my back straight, I'm 10 fucking toes down in Florida and anywhere else I go. And I know that no matter what, it's not a n**** on this earth that could ever fuck with me in my life!"
Cole fired back at Lamar and then apologized two days later.
Cole did not comment publicly on Lamar's "Like That" verse until last week when he released "Might Delete Later."
The first verse of the final track, "7 Minute Drill," appears to be a direct response to Lamar, who Cole implies is losing popularity. Rolling Stone's Andre Gee wrote that the title refers to a military drill where officers have to explain how to respond to an enemy attack.
"He still doin' shows, but fell off like the Simpsons / Your first shit was classic, your last shit was tragic / Your second shit put n***** to sleep, but they gassed it / Your third shit was massive and that was your prime / I was trailin' right behind and I just now hit mine," Cole raps.
Fans think Cole's bar about Lamar's second album references the critically-acclaimed " To Pimp a Butterfly ," which some music fans have described as boring. Rolling Stone's Gee and Pitchfork's Alphonse Pierre panned Cole's track for not being aggressive enough.
"He doesn't have the heart for the lying, disrespect, and animosity it requires to make an effective diss track," Pierre wrote.
Two days later, Cole walked back the comments at his Dreamville Festival, saying the only reason he responded was because he felt pressured by his fans and his friends to respond.
"I was conflicted because, one I know my heart and I know how I feel about my peers, these two n***** that I just been blessed to even stand beside in this game, let alone chase they greatness," Cole said in a video shared on X. "So I felt conflicted 'cause I'm like, bruh I don't even feel no way. But the world wanna see blood."
J.Cole speaks on his response to Kendrick and says it hasn’t felt good or right with his spirit, calling his own response “corny” and telling Kendrick to return his best shot if he feels a way pic.twitter.com/jan2jctfk9 — Glock Topickz (@Glock_Topickz) April 8, 2024
Cole said his diss verse, and the discourse surrounding it, didn't "sit right with my spirit," adding that he hoped Lamar, who he describes as "one of the greatest motherfucker's to ever touch a fuckin' microphone," wasn't hurt by his words.
"If he did, my n****, I got my chin out. Take your best shot, I'ma take that shit on the chin boy, do what you do. All good. It's love," he said.
Representatives for Lamar, Cole, and Drake did not respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.

2024 NFL Draft: Patriots hosting Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy, per report
New england is continuing its search for its next qb.
After already meeting with Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels, the New England Patriots are currently hosting fellow top quarterback draft prospect J.J. McCarthy. McCarthy was slated to have dinner with Patriots' brass on Sunday night before visiting the team's facility on Monday, according to NFL Media .
Owners of the No. 3 overall pick, the Patriots will undoubtedly use the pick to select a quarterback. New England will likely be the third team to take a quarterback, as the Bears and Commanders -- who respectively own the first and second picks -- are also expected to select quarterbacks.
The Bears are widely expected to select USC's Caleb Williams. The Commanders are slated to select either LSU's Daniels or North Carolina's Maye.
McCarthy has flown up the draft charts since leading Michigan to the school's first national title since 1997. He's currently tabbed as the fourth-best quarterback and 20th best player in CBS Sports' prospect rankings .
The 6-foot-3 McCarthy was a two-year starter at Michigan. He went a staggering 28-1 as the Wolverines' starting quarterback over that span that included a 2-1 record in the College Football Playoff and a 2-0 record against arch rival Ohio State.
Since there are only 3 days until Michigan Football here are JJ McCarthy’s 3 TD passes vs Ohio State last year! Go Blue! 〽️ pic.twitter.com/HxpqLBSpM9 — JD 〽️ (@MGoJDBlue) August 30, 2023
He didn't throw for a ton of yards at Michigan, but McCarthy was extremely effective. He completed 68.5% of his passes during his last two years at Michigan with 44 touchdowns against just nine picks.
McCarthy's style of play is eerily similar to his college coach, Jim Harbaugh. While not a prolific runner, Harbaugh was elusive and at times difficult to corral in the pocket. McCarthy is very much the same. A lot of his big plays at Michigan were the byproduct of rollouts that took advantage of his athleticism.
Speaking of Harbaugh, the new Los Angeles Chargers' coach recently heaped his former college QB with considerable praise.
"I think he plays quarterback the best of any quarterback in the draft," Harbaugh said, via ESPN . "He's incredible. So, big market, small market. Cold weather, hot weather, it won't matter."
It'll be interesting to see if the Patriots agree with Harbaugh, assuming that McCarthy is still available when New England is on the clock.
