How to book your seat in advance:

• You can book the seat of your choice while booking your flight on www.luxair.lu, from desktop devices and tablets.
• Simply follow the booking process and click on "SELECT SEAT" at the booking step "Additional Services".
• If you have already booked a flight, you can add your seat easily via Manage my Booking. 

Extra peace of mind when you fly:

• Choose your standard seat for only 14€. All standard seats are free of charge for SMART, FLEX and BUSINESS Fare Families. 
• Choose your front seat at 19€. Seating at the front allows you to disembark first and enjoy an extra comfortable flight!
• You prefer more freedom? Secure yourself one of our popular seats with extra legroom, and enjoy even greater comfort on your trip. Exit seats are available at 25€ (50€ for flights to Dubai, Egypt, Cape Verde, Funchal - Madeira, Dakar and Canary Islands) and it's even for free for Business Class customers.

Which conditions apply?

• You can benefit from our online seat selection service up to 2h before flight departure.
• Please note that the seat map in the booking flow will also show seat characteristics, like seats eligible for passengers with infants, for passengers travelling with pets or persons with reduced mobility. Please ensure you select your seat accordingly.

Are there any special requirements for exit seats?

Exit seats are available on our flights operated with Boeing aircraft and for the first row of our De Havilland Q400 aircraft, they are not available in Economy class on our De Havilland Q400 aircraft. By booking an emergency exit seat, the passenger accepts the following:

Due to safety regulations, by reserving an emergency exit seat, the passenger must speak and understand either English, French, German or Luxemburgish and be able to assist the crew and open the emergency exit door. This is why the emergency exit seats cannot be assigned to: 

• passengers that are not willing or able (understanding instructions and/or orders given by the crew) to assist in the unlikely event of an evacuation of the aircraft during an emergency
• any infant or child up to and including 11 years of age
• passengers with reduced mobility or another physical or mental disability
• passengers travelling with someone who needs their assistance in case of an emergency
• pregnant passengers
• passengers travelling with a pet in the cabin

In case of non-compliance, passengers will be allocated another seat by our check-in staff or cabin crew members.

Can I book my preferred seats also via other sales channels?

• Our new seat selection service can also be booked via our Callcenter at +352 2456 1 and via your travel agency.

Can I chose my seat when I make my reservation?

Yes, I can choose my seat:

• LIGHT: reservation of my preferred seat costs 14€ for a standard seat and 25€ (50€ for flights to Dubai, Egypt, Cape Verde, Funchal - Madeira, Dakar or Canary Islands) for a seat with more space. Reservation of Front Seat costs 19€.
