Twelve-time Grammy winning trio The Chicks will take their music global this summer, when The Chicks World Tour 2023 launches in June.

Joining them on the outing are “The Bones” hitmaker Maren Morris , Canadian band Wild Rivers and “Better Way” singer Ben Harper , with each act opening select shows throughout the tour. The tour launches on June 20 in Oslo, Norway and wraps Sept. 18 in Toronto, Ontario. Along the way the Chicks will visit more than 30 cities, including 29 stops in North America. Among their U.S. dates are shows in Nashville, Tennessee (July 27); Grand Rapids, Michigan (Aug. 17); Tulsa, Oklahoma (July 21) and Bethel, New York (Aug. 3).

Tickets will go on sale for all U.S. shows except for Bethel, Hershey, Columbus, St. Paul, & Sioux Falls on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for shows in Europe, UK, Canada, and St. Paul (U.S.) will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the Bethel, Hershey, Columbus, and Sioux Falls dates will be available beginning Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. local time.

Prior to the tour launch, The Chicks are slated for their six-concert Las Vegas residency at Zappos Theater starting in May, and will take part in Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday celebration concert on April 30 in Los Angeles.

The Chicks Announce 2023 Summer World Tour with Maren Morris and More Guests: 'See You Soon'

"We look forward to returning to the road and bringing the show to fans in new cities across the U.S. and Canada," said the country trio in a press statement

The Chicks are ready, ready, ready, ready, ready to hit the road!

After wrapping a U.S. tour last year, the country trio made up of Natalie Maines , Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer announced a new, global run of concerts on Tuesday, which are set to go down this summer with special guests Maren Morris , Ben Harper and Wild Rivers.

"North America! Thank you to all our fans for making last Summer so fun! We look forward to returning to the road and bringing the show to fans in new cities across the U.S. and Canada! See you soon," wrote The Chicks in a press statement, before acknowledging fans in the U.K. and Europe. "We can't wait to see everyone and play for all our fans across the pond — it's been a long time coming, and we can't wait to get back!"

Kicking off in Oslo, Norway on June 20, the "Goodbye Earl" performers will perform throughout the U.K. and Europe through July 4 before launching the North American leg with a show in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 21. After making stops in Tennessee, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa and more states through Sept. 1, they'll wrap the tour with a Canadian string of shows from Sept. 5 to Sept. 18.

Morris will open for The Chicks in the U.K., Europe and Canada, while the U.S. leg will feature Harper at nine shows and Wild Rivers at 12 shows.

Tickets for most U.S. dates will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. local time, with the Europe, U.K. and Canada dates going on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time. The Bethel, New York; Hershey, Pennsylvania; Columbus, Ohio; and Sioux Falls, North Dakota shows will go on sale Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. local time.

Ahead of the tour, The Chicks will also perform their first-ever concert residency, billed as "The Chicks: Six Nights in Vegas," set to take place in May at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on May 3, 5, 6, 10, 12 and 13.

The Grammy-winning group's most recent album, Gaslighter , was released in 2020.

When Maren Morris' 'My Church' started popping onto radio stations in 2016, country fans could've never known that this petite little blonde girl from Texas would seen establish herself as one of the leading ladies in the genre.

Across her discography, she's issued three full-length albums – two of which have topped the country albums chart – and sent 11 singles to both pop and country radio, many of them soaring to impressive heights and securing her three No. 1s.

With more than 30 awards and accolades to her name, including ACMs, CMAs, Billboard Awards and a prestigious Grammy trophy, Morris has also spent much of the last decade rigorously touring the world both on her own headlining treks and as support for the likes of Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Niall Horan, Miranda Lambert and The Chicks.

With nearly a decade worth of music at her disposal, Morris has developed a live show chock full of arena ready singalongs, tearjerker ballads and plenty of her beloved country hits.

Usually ending the night on the high note of her aforementioned debut single, Morris' sets traditionally take attendees through a masterful cross-section of the singer-songwriter's catalogue, including some of her early hits that have nearly become Morris standards, including 'Rich,' '80s Mercedes' and the screamable 'Drunk Girls Don't Cry.'

Not to mention the record-breaking 2018 smash hit of 'The Middle,' which features DJs Zedd and Grey and would be deeply remiss if not included in her live show.

While there's plenty of upbeat and energized zingers across her albums, Morris artistry also excels when it comes to the heart wrenching gut punches. From older weepers like 'I Wish I Was,' 'Once' and 'I Could Use A Love Song,' the country crooner also provides plenty of newer heartbreakingly beautiful tunes, including 'I Can't Love You Anymore' and the more hopeful 'To Hell & Back.'

For fans who are newer to jump on the Maren Morris train, there's plenty of newer material on display at her headlining shows, too. Standout tunes from her newest record, Humble Quest , are alive and well on her 2023 dates, including 'Circles Around This Town,' 'Nervous' and 'Detour.'

Morris' award-winning album, Girl , also gets its much-deserved moment in the spotlight, often showcasing some of its many career-defining hits such as the title track, 'The Bones,' 'RSVP' and the Brothers Osborne-graced 'All My Favorite People.'

Wednesday 15th November. Shepherds Bush Empire, London. Maren Morris. It’s a crisp winter evening in London Town as we look forward to another country night out with a super talented female. It’s somewhat ironic at a time when there is so much great new female country talent like Maren, Margo Price, Ashley Monroe, Angaleena Presley, Amanda Shires and Nikki Lane to name just a few that they are all so woefully recognised within the Nashville country establishment. Their loss is our gain especially as we can still see these great singer songwriters in relatively small venues.

Tonight, it’s Maren Morris, Texas born and once a jobbing songwriter in Nashville but now moving front and centre singing her own material. She’s over here promoting her debut album ‘Hero’ in her largest headline show to date.

The first thing that strikes you about Maren is that she’s tiny. The second thing is that voice. How someone so small can generate something so powerful is incredible. It’s a hair standing, spine tingling force of nature.

It’s a strong start with ‘Sugar’, ‘Just another thing’ and ‘How it’s done’ and then we get a great version of the John Prine classic ‘Angel from Montgomery’. I may have been one of the few that knew the song but hopefully some of the younger members of the audience can check him out. The next sixty minutes fly by as we are treated to most of the new album, a new one, a very old one and even a Beyoncé cover to boot.

The show builds to a crescendo with ’80 Mercedes’, ‘Rich’ and ‘My church’ and it’s been some time since I heard such a loud crowd singing it all back.

A wonderful night ending on a thoughtful note with the passionate letter ‘Dear Hate’ in memory to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

A star very much on the rise for the wonderful Maren Morris.

I had a blast! Casideepope has a killer voice and two really fun songs. Maren was a freaking goddess and knew how to run the show. Even the guitarists were fun to watch and into it. Loved the show but wished more of the crowed would have moved or done anything than standing straight still - my group sang and swayed which was fun! Maren is so good and the show went so well I would see her again. My only complaint is the show started late and on a tuesday annoyed me because i’m a student and had school the next day.

Hands down The Maren Morris Hero concert at The House of Blues was the Best Concert I've ever been to. We had a meet and greet with her and she was so sweet I just love her. She put on an Amazing show we are now on our way to see her play at Gruene hall in New Braunfels. I can't wait.

The Chicks Announce 2023 World Tour With Star-Studded Lineup of Guests

The Chicks are hitting the road in 2023 on a massive world tour. The trio announced on Tuesday (Feb. 14) that they will kick off the run on June 20 in Oslo, Norway. The tour will take them through Europe and the United Kingdom as well as throughout the United States and Canada through the fall. They will wrap up the tour on September 18 in Toronto, Ontario. They will bring along Maren Morris , Ben Harper and Wild Rivers as openers.

"Thank you to all our fans for making last Summer so fun!" the trio wrote on social media upon announcing the tour. "It's time to get the party going again! We can't wait to see everyone!"

The trek follows their 2022 headlining tour.

Morris also shared her excitement to hit the road with The Chicks, writing, "READY TO RUN to 🇨🇦🇬🇧🇮🇪🇳🇴🇸🇪🇳🇱," in an Instagram post.

Tickets for all the U.S. shows except for Bethel, Hershey, Columbus, St. Paul and Sioux Falls will be on sale on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Shows in Europe, the U.K., Canada and St. Paul, Minn. will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the Bethel, Hershey, Columbus, and Sioux Falls concerts will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. local time.

When Superstars like Beyoncé , Pink and Kelly Clarkson hit the road, they have been known to bring their children along for the ride.

Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy, 12,  joined her mother onstage in Paris during the Renaissance World Tour in May 2023, and the singer took to Instagram to share a sweet message to her pride and joy.

“My beautiful firstborn 🙏🏾 I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel,” she wrote.

While most celebrity appearances with their kids are well-received, some artists have attracted negative attention for sharing the stage.

Last year, Maren Morris made headlines when she performed at the Love Rising concert, an LGBTQ+ benefit show in Nashville aimed at combating anti-trans legislation in Tennessee. She brought her 3-year-old son, Hayes, to the event and introduced him to some of the drag performers.

Blue Ivy Carter began collaborating with her mother over a decade ago in Beyoncé's 2013 song"Blue.” She contributed vocals to "The Lion King: The Gift" six years later, along with appearing in the music video. In 2023, Blue Ivy — who Beyoncé shares with Jay-Z — joined her mother as a backup dancer on the Renaissance World Tour .

“Last night I saw my beautiful grandbaby (11) dance in front of almost 70 thousand people!” Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles , captioned an Instagram post at the time alongside a clip of the concert. “She killed it and was as cool as a cucumber! Blue Ivy Carter ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ No Fear❤️❤️”

During her Las Vegas residency in August 2023, Clarkson brought her daughter River, 10, and her son Remington, 8, onstage. They all crooned her 2015 track "Heartbeat Song." Clarkson leaned back and hit high notes as the two kiddos jumped up and down during the number.

In June 2023, Pink and her daughter, Willow, performed their collaboration "Cover Me in Sunshine” during the Summer Carnival tour. The duet — which the mother-daughter duo originally released in 2021 — also featured Willow in the music video.

After the show, Pink’s husband, Carey Hart , took to Instagram to brag about his family’s performance.

“So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama @pink !!!!!” Hart shared. “Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage 😢. Looks like 1st show of the tour kicked ass!!!!! Can’t wait to catch up end of this month and see for myself. Summer is grind time ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻.”

Twins Moroccan and Monroe, 13, made a cameo during their mother’s Apple TV Christmas Special in 2020. They danced in the grand finale while she performed her classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

Maren Morris hopes “I never fall in love again,” she said as she shared a sneak peek of an unreleased track on her EP that’s set to release next month.

Morris shared a 15-second clip of “I Hope I Never Fall In Love” on Instagram and TikTok on Tuesday afternoon (July 2). The Grammy Award winner said the song is “a situationship in sonic form,” and it’s “coming soon to ruin your life.” Morris responded to one TikTok commenter, “get in loser we’re going healing.”

Morris released the first song from her 5-track EP, “Cut!,” on June 21. She described the collaboration with Julia Michaels as a song “about me holding myself together through the day, looking well-rested, not a hair out of place, not canceling any plans with friends because that’s how well I want you to think I’m doing. Perhaps those things are all true, but at night I let the mask slip and let myself scream or fall apart to let the steam out of the kettle. It’s a cathartic release that doesn’t require secrecy, but there are worldly expectations to keep it together despite your feelings. This song gives me permission to fall apart .”

The soon-to-release EP, Intermission , will arrive months after Morris finalized her divorce from fellow singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd . Morris filed for divorce in October 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They reached a settlement earlier this year. Intermission will follow Morris’ reimagined rendition of Billy Idol ’s “Dancing with Myself,” and The Bridge , a 2-track collection featuring “The Tree” and “Get The Hell Out Of Here.” Morris’ latest full-length project is Humble Quest , her 11-track album that released in 2022 with Humble Quest: In Rare Form arriving months later, spotlighting seven songs from the album performed as acoustic versions.

Intermission will release on August 2.
