110 meters long and 11.45 meters wide, the river boat Vista Sky offers enough space for up to 181 cruise passengers. The attentive ship crew takes care of the guests while they can enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere on board. The Vista Sky offers classic cruise elements in combination with modern ship equipment - the perfect mix for dreamlike river cruises!

Vista Sky’s on-board facilities

On board the ship there are versatile on-board facilities, which offer pleasant activities. For example, the Vista Sky has a large sundeck with seating and loungers and comfortable shaded areas. A shuffle board, a putting green, a lounge with a panoramic view and a reading corner can also be found on board the ship. For an additional charge, guests can use the WIFI in the salon or in the cabins. A special highlight is the sauna on the upper deck: here you can relax perfectly while watching the passing river landscapes through the window.

Culinary delights and VistaGrill Steakhouse

Cruise passengers enjoy the finest food in the ship's restaurant, which is already included in the cruise price. Another special feature is the VistaGrill Steakhouse - Europe's first steakhouse on a river cruise ship. Here, the travellers can enjoy fine steaks at an extra charge. Cruise guests on the upper deck receive a voucher for the steakhouse when traveling for 7 nights or more. In the evening, guests can order a cool drink at the bar in the panoramic salon.

Life on board the Vista Sky

Except for the sundeck, all passenger decks can be reached by a lift. The atmosphere on the ship is cosy and at the same time elegant. On-board theme nights with live music, quizzes or lectures and board games provide entertaining moments.

Comfortable cabins to feel at ease

All cabins in the Vista Sky are outside cabins. The superior and deluxe cabins on the main and upper decks are approx. 14.5 m² in size and have a French balcony. On the main deck there are cabins with a size of about 13 m², which are equipped with windows (not to open). The cabins are all equipped with the following amenities: shower and toilet, hairdryer, double bed (separable in two single beds), safe, TV, telephone, individually controlled air conditioning / heating, minibar and a small table with seating. Sky Ride Recumbent 2-lane, 800 foot bicycle course that extends the whole aft section of the deck. 4 single rider bicycles with pedal functionality that allows riders to control speed and bike swivels when turning corners. The bicycle is approximately 150 foot above the water line. Weight limit: 300 pounds / Height minimum: 48 inches.

Emerald Sky (2014-built) is the second of all six Emerald Waterways ships of the Star-class. The riverboat has as fleetmates the sisterships Emerald Star ,  Emerald Dawn ,  Emerald Sun , Emerald Destiny and Emerald Luna . Emerald Waterways is a new river cruise line in Europe (established 2014, owned by the  Scenic Tours company ). Like the new  Viking River Cruises longships , Emerald Waterways ships’ innovations make them a real alternative to the ocean ship cruise vacations. Emerald Waterways Sky boat just adds more choices of sailing dates and itineraries for the aficionados of the European luxury river cruise ship travel – the all-inclusive style.

Emerald Sky cruise ship deck plan has a total of 92 staterooms for 182 passengers served by 47 crew/staff. Like most of the newest luxury river cruise ships, Emerald Sky features 4 passenger decks, indoor swimming pool/night cinema (covered with sliding roof), Gym, Spa massages room, passenger-use bikes, 1 elevator (connecting all 3 cabin decks).

Emerald Waterways Sky is an all-inclusive riverboat. The list of included in the fares amenities includes:

• gratuities (both onboard and on shore excursions/tours)
• all transfers to and from the boat
• all shore excursions
• beverages (including tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water) and alcohol (beer and wine by the glass at lunch and dinner)
• Wi-Fi Internet access.

There is no special dress-code on the Sky ship. Still, a smart casual dress code for dinner is recommended (allowing jeans, but not shorts/flip-flops). There are no formal nights on Emerald Waterways cruises.

Avalon Vista

Avalon Vista features two full decks of suites; each suite boasts an open-air balcony created by wall-to-wall panoramic windows, which allows the riverside scenery of Europe to be experienced from the comfort of your room. Stateroom and suite amenities include Egyptian super-combed cotton linens, L'Occitane bath amenities, individual climate control and flatscreen satellite TV with movie channels. Take in the delightful panorama of passing scenery from the outside viewing deck or enjoy time to relax on the lounge chairs or in the whirlpool on the Sky Deck. Nightly entertainment, as well as lectures and activities, are offered on board to enhance your cruising experience; onboard movie nights are also offered. Delicious meals are served each day in the dining room and feature chef-inspired regional and western cuisine.
