Island tour awesome

Amazing island tour we did this tour today with partner and 2 young kids 5 & 18 months. Nice comfortable coach and spacious and nice smooth ride to get to the places and we picked this because it has loads of different transportation and our son loves things like this. Highly recommend I know it’s a long day but sometimes we just bring out the tablets for the kids on coach especially baby to calm her down but was all good no complaints

This is a nice way to see some of the island if you are staying in Palma. It was a little confusing at the pick up as four coaches with different exteriors arrived within 5 minutes of each other and none displayed ‘No frills excursions’. However, it doesn’t take long to discover they are doing the same trip but with different languages on each coach. My coach was actually a blue Tui coach and covered Italian, English and French. The guide Pepe was very good and made sure everyone knew where they had to be at various points in the day. However, it can be a little tedious having everything said in three languages. Having heard it in English I was quite pleased that I could then follow it in French! The morning is spent driving from South to North through the mountains with a stop at the Monastery of the Black Madonna, Lluc. This is a pleasant place for a coffee break with several cafes and toilets. The morning drive, with break took three hours. This was longer than usual due to the large number of mountain cyclists in April when the weather is not too hot! We then reached Port de Soller which is a popular picturesque port with many restaurants and a sandy beach. We had an hour here to get lunch. There are two bakeries along the front, so I opted for a delicious slice of pizza and sat on one of the benches by the marina. As the bakery also had some seating it also had a toilet that I used. (Important to note, there are toilets by where the boat cruises are moored.) After pizza I then bought an ice cream - there are several ice cream shops along the sea front. After lunch we had a pleasant 45 minute boat cruise up the coast to a sea cave then back to port. From Port de Soller we then boarded a ‘private’ historic tram to take you inland to the town of Soller. Some of the group did need to stand on the tram journey. You get about an hour in Soller. I chose to spend the time people watching at one of the cafes in the main square. I enjoyed an excellent apple tatin tart with vanilla ice cream. Finally the group meets again at the little railway station and takes a ‘private’ historic train back to the outskirts of Palma. The train carriage had ample seating. The train journey takes an hour. There are a lot of tunnels, but very pretty scenery between the tunnels. At the end the coaches were waiting to quickly return us to our pick up points.

I was amazed by what I saw and the value for money is excellent. I wasn't expecting that!! You walk down for nearly an hour through fabulous structures..mind blowing!! Then a concert on the lake and a boat ride!! Beautiful area outside to sit and walk. Clean toilets and food options looked better than what we offer in the UK! Make sure you book as even the sessions we're fully booked when we were leaving and people without a pre booked ticket would have had to wait more than 1 hr to get in.

We are glad you enjoyed our shuttle to the Caves of Drach. We have a trip departing nearly every day from Palma Port, and clients can either come the meeting point in Palma or sign on the free return bus from the resorts nearby to Palma. It is a great way to enjoy one of the most amazing caves in Europe; in fact, they were recently chosen by a famous travel magazine on the top-25 best caves in Europe. On our ticket we have pre-paid ticket so no queues at the kiosk office or disappointment to get there and see the tickets are sold out, a guide to assist you during the day and modern air conditioned buses.

Well what can I say but WOW... from the moment you get in you a mesmerised by the beauty of the caves, no picture makes justice to its real beauty, you get to see a 10 minutes classic concert (they play inside the boat) and you also get a 2m ride on the boat. If you come to Mallorca the caves of Drach are a must, we got to go to Porto Cristo and see the local market, then headed to the pearl factory (its beautiful but heavy of the wallet 🤣) Would recommend this to anyone. It's a must

This is a tour that i would definitely recommend if you ever go to Mallorca. From the pick to the old train, tram (you see the lemon/orange trees very upclose), boat trip in soller, everything was amazing and they give you time to explore soller which we did, beautiful little town. The mountain views are breathtaking, and the monastery of Lluc is beautiful (legend behind it is interesting). Our tour guide Pepe is very friendly and knowledgeable.
