The attack on the Arizona thrust the United States into war, and four years later the instruments of surrender ending the war were signed on the deck of the Missouri. You’ll experience both ships on this tour and learn firsthand of their history and thrill at the accounts of the brave crews who manned them.

Tour Highlights

• Battleship Missouri , where you’ll walk in the footsteps of General Douglas MacArthur, Admiral Chester Nimitz, and officers of the Allied Powers in 1945 when the instruments of surrender were signed on the ship, signaling the end WWII. “Mighty Mo” valiantly fought in WWII, the Korean War and in Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf, supporting the cause of freedom.
• Arizona Memorial  will be reached aboard a US Navy vessel. The memorial was designed by the architectural team to be situated directly above the actual USS Arizona battleship without resting on the sunken ship. The ship is the final resting place of many of the 1,177 officers and crewmen who were lost during the attack.
• Pearl Harbor Visitor Center  is where you’ll witness actual film footage of the attack at the Visitor Center Theater, view historic galleries and displays, and find yourself taken back in time to a period of conflict which brought the United States directly into battle, forging its role in eventually concluding it following years of combat.
• Punchbowl Cemetery  is viewed from the comfort of your tour vehicle where you’ll observe the dignified beauty of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. The memorial cemetery was created to pay homage to those in the US Armed Forces whose lives were lost in the service of their country.
• Iolani Palace  was the residence of the Hawaii Kingdom royalty between 1845 and 1893. The only royal palace on US soil, the palace employs architectural design seen no place else. It’s “American Florentine” design was created using brick with concrete facing, with ornamental plaster interior.
• King Kamehameha Statue  is seen in pictures around the world as an archetype of Hawaii’s regal past. The statue honors the monarch founded the Kingdom of Hawaii, and one of the “must see” sites included in the tour.

Please wear comfortable attire and shoes. Many tours traverse uneven walking surfaces. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are recommended. You should wear sunscreen and bring a camera. Please do not leave anything of value unattended on the coach.

• Do not leave any valuables on the coach.
• This tour does not operate on Christmas, New Year’s Day or Thanksgiving.
• Due to ceremonies on December 7th each year, the park is closed to commercial vehicles, and they do not operate their normal tours to the USS Arizona Memorial on that date.
• On rare occasions, and due to external factors outside of their control (including inclement weather and/or shortages of boat launch tickets), there is the possibility of not being able to visit the Arizona Memorial during your visit. You will still be able to visit the many Arizona exhibits and visitor’s center, the USS Bowfin and other monuments at the park.

No bags of any size are allowed anywhere at Pearl Harbor. This includes backpacks, camera bags, purses, luggage, and fanny packs must all be left at the baggage storage at the entrance to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. For diaper needs, we suggest parents and caregivers include these baby items in a clear sealable under the stroller seat for clear visibility and access.

Where can I pick up my audio tour headset?

You can pick up your headset for the audio tour near the Information Desk at the Visitors Center.

Can I bring a stroller, wheelchair, or mobility device?

Pearl Harbor is an accessible site, there are no hills, and the paths are mostly flat. Wheelchairs are not available for rent at the park. There are benches placed around the visitor center and there are wheelchair locks on the US Navy navy boats to and from the memorial that sport visitors back and forth to the Memorial.

Motorized mobility devices are welcome at the Visitor Center and on US Navy Vessels, and the USS Arizona Memorial.

Strollers are welcome on site but can only go so far as the USS Arizona Memorial pre-boarding area at the Park Theater. Strollers are not permitted on US Navy vessels or the USS Arizona Memorial, please bring a baby carrier as an alternate option in these areas.

Can I bring food and beverages?  

Due to the Pearl Harbor National Memorial's no-bag policy, only bring snacks and water bottles that you can carry. There is a small snack shop on site that carries various sundry snacks and cold beverages as well as restaurants throughout the area. There are water fountains located throughout the park to use or refill water bottles.

What is appropriate dress and attire?

We recommend that all visitors consider this site is for remembrance and reflection of the loss of life in service to the United States, therefore please plan for appropriate dress. Battle dress uniform is not allowed on the memorial, though it is allowed throughout the visitor center and at sites on Ford Island. Military visitors are welcome to wear civilian attire when visiting.

Come prepared with comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet throughout your visit, including a hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen are recommended.

• Any cancellations made within 24 hours of tour time are non-refundable.
• No-Shows are non-refundable.
• Groups of 8 or more may make changes and cancellations up to 17:00 local time, 7 business days prior to the activity. Cancellations made later are subject to a 100% charge.

Cancellations on Tours with Airfare

• Tours that include airfare are non-refundable.
• Airfare is not transferable and not changeable.

Although flights are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-changeable, please give us notice as soon as you know that you will not be able to go on the tour and we will try to work with our airline partners to reschedule you. While this has happened, it is not a guarantee.

What happens if Pearl Harbor closes for weather or security reasons?

Most of our tours will include a full refund in such cases. Tours including airfare and combo tours may operate depending on the circumstances. If they operate, unused admissions will be refunded.

The movie at the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center, the boat to the Arizona Memorial, the Arizona Memorial, and the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center are all out of our control. If there is a closure for safety, weather, mechanical or other causes, tours that have already departed are not eligible for refunds.

Other Pearl Harbor Tour Cancellation Policies

Rescheduling is not allowed within 24 hours of the tour. Because this is within the 24-hour cancellation policy, it is non-refundable.

Your pick-up location will be sent to you after booking. It is the guest's responsibility to be at the pick-up location at the time scheduled. Failure to be at the correct location or the correct time is considered a no-show and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

A full refund is provided if the tour is canceled more than 48 hours prior to tour departure time. If canceled within 48 hours of tour departure time or if guest no-shows no refund is provided. Refund requests are to be received within 30 days of the date of the tour. Refunds or partial refunds for tours, activities, flights, or venues that are cancelled due to reasons outside of our control (weather, force majeure, etc.) as well as refunds for extenuating circumstances will not be honored.

What should I wear on tour?

Please dress comfortably and wear sunscreen. There will be lots of walking with potential trip hazards on the Battleship Missouri. Closed toed comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Keep in mind that the USS Arizona Memorial is the final resting place for hundreds of people and a space for remembrance and reflection, so visitors are advised to dress appropriately.

What can I bring, and what should I leave behind?

Passengers may not carry any concealing items at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, Arizona Memorial, and USS Missouri. Include purses, handbags, backpacks and more. See-through bags holding medical devices/ may be allowed onsite at the discretion of the National Park Service. You are not allowed to leave your bag in the tour vehicle; there's a storage facility near the visitor center entrance for a fee.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the tour is wheelchair accessible, including the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, Arizona Memorial, and USS Missouri. Polynesian Adventure offers ADA-compliant vehicles with lifts for roundtrip transportation. If you or any member of your party requires this assistance, please make a note in the special needs box above when booking your reservation.

Can I bring food inside?

The tour includes a lunch at Slider's Grill inside the USS Missouri. Food and drinks are allowed, and also available, at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. However, you can only bring bottled water to the Arizona Memorial.

Is hotel pick-up available?

Yes. Passengers can be picked up and dropped off at Waikiki hotels and central locations.

What happens during inclement weather?

On rare occasions, and due to external factors such as inclement weather and/or shortages of boat launch tickets, there is the possibility of not being able to visit the Arizona Memorial during your visit. You'll still be able to go to the Visitor's Center and USS Missouri.

NO BAG POLICY: The US Department of the Interior has declared a no bags policy at Pearl Harbor. Passengers may not carry any concealing items including purses, handbags, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. Small cameras are permitted but must not be in a bag. No items are allowed to be left on your tour vehicle. When going over to Ford Island to visit the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and/or the Battleship Missouri, guests are required to carry government issued photo identification and NO BAGS are allowed on the vehicle. Ford Island is an active military base and guests may be asked by security personnel at any time for their identification to ensure a safe environment for all. Bag storage is available at the entrance of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center for a fee per bag. It is recommended to bring on tour only vital items like your identification and wallet as long as these items fit in your pockets.

No trip to Oahu would be complete without visiting Hawaii's most popular tourist attraction ... the USS Arizona Memorial. The Arizona & Missouri tour, aka Pearl Harbor Remembered , includes the Arizona Memorial visitor's center, documentary film, and the ferry boat ride which takes you out to the memorial. From there you will gaze down into the water where just below the surface lies the decks of USS Arizona, final resting place for many of the 1177 crew members who lost their lives on December 7, 1941. There are many large tour buses that bring guests to Pearl Harbor, but this tour is superior to the big bus tours because these excursions are all done in smaller 25 passenger mini-coaches. This gives each guest more personal attention from the guide, and the oversize windows in these mini-coach vehicles offers superior visibility.

This tour takes you to the beginning and ending of World War II. You'll watch the documentary film and board the ferry for the ride out to the Arizona Memorial, which represents the beginning of American involvement in the war. You will also participate in a guided tour of the USS Missouri, which helps you imagine what the Arizona was like prior to its destruction and sinking on that fateful day. The USS Missouri was the scene of the end of World War II as the Japanese signed formal documents of surrender aboard this ship in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945. You will see a copy of the Declaration of Surrender on the exact spot where the document was signed.

After Pearl Harbor you will drive past Punchbowl Crater and continue downtown with a narrated Honolulu City Tour including a photo stop at the famous King Kamehameha statue. Your guide will explain all about Hawaii's history as a monarchy, a territory, and eventually America's 50th state.

If you are staying outside of Waikiki you will park in the municipal lot at the Honolulu Zoo and walk approximately 5 minutes to the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. Those staying in Ko'Olina area have a special tour that picks up there on Thursdays and can be reserve by clicking here .

Pickup Time: Approximately 7:30am with return around 2pm. Your email confirmation will tell you the exact pickup time and location for pickup nearest to where you are staying.

What to Wear: Tour participants should wear respectful attire (shoes must be worn and no swimwear allowed). Due to heightened security no bags, purses, or strollers are permitted at the Memorial. Storage of these items is available for a nominal fee. Cameras and small, hand-carried wallets are permitted.

Reservations: Advanced reservations required and we recommend booking this a month or more before your arrival. This event is "RESERVE NOW PAY LATER"; we need a credit card on file to finalize your reservation but we do not charge you for this event until a few days before the beginning of your vacation!

Minimum Notice for Cancellations / Changes: At least 48 hours before the start of the event.

Note: On rare occasions due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control (weather or mechanical issues), the Navy may suspend boat operations to the USS Memorial at anytime. There will be no refunds in these cases. You will still be able to enjoy the USS Arizona exhibits, visitor's center and park monuments, and will have additional time to explore the Missouri.

This is the Pearl Harbor tour that I recommend for most people. You will gain a greater understanding of the Arizona after you've walked around on the decks and in the hullof the Missouri. Looking down on the Arizona while high on Missouri's decks will give you a unique view and perspective of this special place.

A visit to Pearl Harbor is a must-do activity for anyone coming to Oahu. The USS Arizona Memorial is one of our nation's most sacred places. Regardless of your interest in history or WWII, a visit to this shrine is an emotional experience. If you have never been ... you should go. The documentary film prepares you well for what you are about to experience, because when the film ends and the doors open, everyone boards the Navy shuttle boat in hushed silence. The boat ride to the memorial only takes a few minutes. When you are on the Memorial, you'll look down into the water and see the outline of the Arizona's remains knowing that it is the final resting place for hundreds of US servicemen.

One tip for photographing the memorial ... when you are re-boarding the boat for the return to the vistor's center, try to get in the last row. As the boat pulls away from the Arizona, you will get your best photo from there.

This particular tour hits the highlights at Pearl Harbor, including the USS Missouri which is a decommissioned battleship docked next door to the Arizona's final resting place. Walking around on deck of the Missouri and seeing its giant guns gives you a humbling perspective of the scale of the loss that happened when the Arizona was destroyed and sunk at the next mooring.

No refunds are available once tour has been confirmed. Royal Hawaiian Limousine shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage or accident to persons or property of any individual on the tour from any cause beyond its control. Royal Hawaiian Limousine will not provide refunds to the charter if the clients misses their USS Arizona Memorial official tour due to(1) the US Navy cancels the boat to the Memorial due to safety reasons (2) if there is a unforeseen traffic jam that causes the client to miss their Memorial Tour and (3) if the client is late in their departure time that causes the tour to be late in arriving at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and thereby missing their scheduled movie/boat ticket time.

Clients may cancel their tour reservations at least minimum of 48 hours before the scheduled date. All approved cancellations are covered by our 100% money-back guarantee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the date of service will not be accepted, thus, payments are not refundable. “No shows” will be considered service rendered. Hence, payments made are also non-refundable.

• All refunds will be credited to your account within 2 to 4 weeks after cancellation date.
• If you need to change your tour date because of a change in schedule, there will be no extra charge for you; however, all changes are subject to availability.

Restrictions/Requirements:

• The US Department of the Interior has declared a, “no bags” policy at the Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center. Passengers may not carry any concealing items. This includes purses, handbags, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. Small cameras are permitted. Allowable vital items may be placed in your pockets.
• Due to ceremonies on December 7th each year, the park is closed to commercial vehicles and we do not operate our normal tours to the USS Arizona Memorial on that date. Also, on rare occasions, and due to external factors outside of our control (including inclement weather and/or shortages of boat launch tickets), there is the possibility of not being able to visit the Arizona Memorial during your visit. You will still be able to visit the many Arizona exhibits and visitor’s center, the USS Bowfin and other monuments at the park.

The day’s adventure begins as your driver guide welcomes you aboard a mini coach. You’ll enjoy a slice of banana bread and learn of Waikiki’s colorful history as you depart for Pearl Harbor. Your guide’s live narration is complemented by historic images, and video shown on vehicle monitors.

You’ll visit the solemn USS Arizona Memorial directly above the USS Arizona battleship that sunk during the attack on December 7, 1941 and became the final resting place of many of the 1,177 officers and crewmen who were lost. It’s a powerful reminder of those who gave their lives for their country. You’ll view actual film footage of the attack, view Pearl Harbor Visitor Center displays, and gain firsthand insight into WWII in the Pacific and beyond.

Aboard the famed Battleship Missouri, you’ll walk in the footsteps of General Douglas MacArthur, Admiral Chester Nimitz, and officers of the Allied Powers in 1945 when the instruments of surrender were signed on the ship, signaling the end WWII. “Mighty Mo” valiantly fought in WWII, the Korean War and in Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf, supporting the cause of freedom.
