LA city guide: A walking tour of Eagle Rock

9am

Grab a table at Pat and Lorraine’s , the diner that served gangsters played by Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi in the 1992 film Reservoir Dogs . Career waitresses pour bottomless mugs of coffee that steam alongside thick, fluffy omelets. Servings are anything but skimpy at Pat’s, so prepare to get stuffed on a monstrous portion of bacon or one of their signature Mexican breakfasts.

After all that eating, you’ll definitely need a walk, so leg it up the street to Old 55 , a vintage furniture store that puts a modern spin on old-school desks, tables, mirrors and electronics. After browsing the best home furnishings from years past, head to Toros Pottery , a boutique gallery featuring pottery handmade by owner and proprietor, Toros Tngrian. Browsing the works on display here may inspire you to sign up for a class: Toros offers a variety of group pottery-making workshops that are open to the public ($110 for 3 hours).

Next, head to the Zweet Station , a specialty candy and soda store housed inside a former auto-body shop. Find virtually any Jones Soda flavor, Sprecher Root Beers, Mexican Pepsis and Cokes made with pure cane sugar, plus an obscure assortment of taffies, gums and chocolates available for the scooping. Feel free to hang out and enjoy a cup of coffee or surf the web with Zweet’s free wi-fi network.

Noon

Ready for lunch? Head to Señor Fish for your choice of light and healthy or thick and hearty Ensenada-style seafood that’s always fresh. You’ll be presented with a myriad of options, but your best bet is a combination plate featuring fish of your choice, fresh salad and fries ($9-$14). If fish isn’t your thing, try the giant shrimp and scallop burrito ($7.45, fried or grilled) and enjoy it on the spacious, sunlit patio with a margarita or beer. If it’s American-style fast food you’re after, journey over to Oinkster for some extra-decadent takes on American classics by local chef Andre Guerrero. Order a slow-roasted pulled BBQ pork sandwich ($7), crispy Belgian-style fries ($2.25-$3.25)and, of course, a local draft beer. The Coffee Table has lots of decidedly healthy options like wraps, sandwiches and salads. Try the BLTA wrap ($9.50) or chopped chicken breast salad ($10.50). And be sure to note that the Coffee Table has a lounge with a full bar that opens nightly at 5pm. Auntie Em’s Kitchen also offers a varied lunch meu, including vegetarian tortas ($10.50), Indian-spiced chickpea sandwiches ($9.95) and country meatloaf ($12.50). If you can afford a bit of a splurge, check out Cacao Mexicatessen , a little eatery offering dishes such as duck confit tacos ($4.15 each) and shredded venison sopes ($7.25 each). If you’re not too full from fresh chips and tasty homemade salsas, top off your meal with a champurrado (Mexican drinking chocolate).

After you’re all grubbed up and ready to go, cross the street to Permanent Records , which stocks a wide selection of pop, post-punk, rock & roll and hip-hop LPs from scores of artists old and new. This West coast outlet of the Chicago-based record store (and label) is also engaged in the community, putting on shows with touring and local bands most Saturdays at 8pm. More into the visual arts? Trot back down Colorado to Jose Vera Gallery , a sprawling two-room art space that features paintings usually pertaining to California and Chicano themes. You’ll be mesmerized by the sheer volume of art in the gallery, as retail items range from furniture and metalwork to ceramics and scores of other mediums.

3pm

In addition to all of the old-school auto body and home improvement shops, Eagle Rock is home to a menagerie of antique and collectible stores. Check out the Snivling Sibbling , an antique furniture shop boasting a slew of turn-of-the-century items, with clocks and creaky-looking chairs slung up on walls and from the ceiling. If you’d rather adorn yourself than your home, head over to MediaNoche , a co-ed boutique where you'll find a trove of hats, boots and accessories on offer. For an afternoon pick-me-up, stop in at Swork , a café with organic, fair-trade coffees and teas. Chill out for a bit, grab an English tea latte and hook up to the free wi-fi. If you’ve got kids, bring them along as Sworkland—a small indoor playground for tots—is nestled right next to the seating area. When you’re caffeinated and ready for more trekking, head to the Eagle Rock Italian Bakery , a neighborhood staple for more than 40 years known for its cannoli and tantalizing rum cakes. Leave with a bag of Pasticiotti and Italian pastries and you won’t be disappointed.

6pm

Eagle Rock has a plethora of dinner options, from new and hip to generations-old. For a little bit of the old Eagle Rock vibe, check out Casa Bianca , a vibrant pizzeria that’s been open in the same location for more than 50 years. The menu is traditional Italian-American and the pizza is usually voted among the best—if not the best—in LA: Try the sausage pie with peppers and fresh garlic ($14.50) and you’ll know why. Camilo’s California Bistro specializes in local renditions of world favorites. The Red Thai Curry Snapper ($17.95) provides a unique medley of tastes whereas Camilo’s Chicken ($15.95), a house favorite, will satisfy your craving for a simpler meal. A few blocks away on Eagle Rock Boulevard you’ll find Mia Sushi , a modern Japanese restaurant with a fine-dining feel. Eat your way through specialty rolls named after the local areas, from the popular Mt. Washington—a crab and cream cheese roll ($11) with fresh eel and avocado—to Highland Park and you guessed it, Eagle Rock. For dinner on the cheap (and we mean seriously cheap) check out Abby’s Diner , a small, 1950s-era food stand that’s open until 10pm. Every item on the menu is served all day and burgers range from $3 to $5. You can grab a whole hearty meal, fries and shake included, for under $10. It's a cash only joint, but with prices so reasonable you can almost always scrounge together enough bills to avoid a trip to the ATM.

9pm

Now you’re ready for a drink. Your first stop should be the Black Boar , a lodge-like setting with low ceilings and a quaint fireplace that’s got all the right whiskeys for sipping. If you’re into knocking ‘em back, the shot of the day here is usually just $4. Oenophiles may want to check out Colorado Wine Company , a wine store that doubles as a bar. The Wine Co. is open six days a week for by-the-glass selections of sake, champagne and beer from around the world. Don’t despair if you’re not flush with cash; the Wine Co. specializes in $25-and-under bottles. For a final nightcap, head far down Eagle Rock Boulevard to Verdugo . The tap selections are vast (22 in all) and a spacious beer garden out back is a great spot for a secluded tete-a-tete. On your way out, hit one of the food trucks outside the bar for some cheap, cheesy Mexican grub that will satisfy any late-night snack hankering.

“...taut with electricity…a band that has become a rousing celebration of traditional Gospel sounds with rock foundations.”

“They’ve taken a natural and admirable step back in time by embracing Americana arrangements…and reveling in good old-fashioned campfire settings, complete with roof-raising shouts and Southern, bluesy tinges.”

-Pop Matters

“The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers consciously tow the line between the sacred and secular. It’s a rewarding combination. Whether you’re a believer or not, these songs will touch all of the sacred places in your heart.”

-No Depression

The Rock Revival

The two groups are running back their Kiss of Death Tour

Ice Nine Kills live

After their wildly successful co-headlining run last year, Ice Nine Kills and In This Moment are running it back. The two acts announced the Kiss of Death Tour Part 2. The two bands will join forces once again to bring their spectacular and highly acclaimed live shows together this summer in 21 cities across the country. Very special guests for the trek will be Avatar and TX2. The run begins on August 6 at the Broadview Stage at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, New York, and Thursday, September 10 at The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Speaking on the announcement of the tour, Ice Nine Kills frontman, Spencer Charnas, shares, “The Kiss of Death tour with our friends, In This Moment, last year was one for the books… We’re excited to continue the body count this summer when we do it all over again, only bigger, bloodier and without being on parole… See you there Psychos!”

“We are thrilled to announce we are joining forces once again with the one and only Ice Nine Kills and special guests Avatar. We all knew after finalizing the first leg of this tour that there was no other choice than to bring it back for more dates. It’s a visual and audio experience that people will never forget. Get your tickets now!”

Tickets for the Kiss of Death Tour will go on general sale at 10am local on Friday, April 19. Pre-sales start today at 12pm. Check out the full tour itinerary below.

Since the release of ‘ The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood  ‘, Ice Nine Kills have seen phenomenal growth. Throughout 2022 they toured the US extensively on 3 legs of The Trinity of Terror. During 2022 and throughout 2023 they supported Metallica in packed, sold-out stadiums around the world on their M72 World Tour. They toured the US with Slipknot and launched their enormously successful horror convention, The Silver Scream Con, which just celebrated it’s second, sold-out edition in the fall of 2023. Spencer was featured in the music video for the official song from Scream 6 – Demi Lovato’s “Still Alive,” an Ice Nine Kills flyer was used in the movie and featured a Spencer-recommended easter egg.

Maria Brink In This Moment live

Beginning in the spring of 2023, as well as wowing packed-out stadiums around the world with Metallica, Ice Nine Kills headlined numerous sold-out shows on their Wurst Vacation European tour and thrilled tens of thousands of fans at Download Festival to huge acclaim from both critics and fans alike. They then toured the US with Falling In Reverse on their Popular Monstour run and hit the road for ‘ Fear The Premiere ‘ US headline shows in August. Ice Nine Kills closed out 2023 on a high with the release of ‘  Welcome To Horrorwood Under Fire  ‘, an exclusive VIP event in Hollywood for the debut of new single “Meat & Greet” and the premiere of the full “Welcome To Horrorwood Saga” movies (featuring all music videos from the album as one chronological clip) and the phenomenally successful, inaugural run of the Kiss of Death co- headline tour with In This Moment.

In This Moment are returning to the road this spring. The band is embarking on The Godmode Tour in support of their latest album of this same name. The run includes more Dark Horizon co-headlining dates with Motionless In White. Kim Dracula and Mike’s Dead will serve as special guests for all shows, while I See Stars will perform on In This Moment’s headlining dates.

The all-new  GODMODE  arrived back on October 27 thought BMG. Fans can order physical versions and save the album for streaming now  HERE . The album is available on blue swirl vinyl, CD, and digital download. To celebrate the album’s release, the band has unveiled a  GODMODE  merchandise line that includes a zip hoodie, fleece sweatpants, flask, license plate, wall flag, and three different t-shirts.

Avatar band live

The album was produced by Kane Churko (Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Papa Roach) and Tyler Bates. Bates produced, wrote songs for, and played multiple instruments on albums by Marilyn Manson, Bush, and Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell. He is best known, however, for scoring the box office smash  300 , the Emmy Award-winning Showtime series  Californication , the  Guardians of the Galaxy  and  John Wick  film franchises. In This Moment’s song “I Would Die For You” appeared on the soundtrack for  John Wick: Chapter 4 , for which Bates wrote the score.

In 2020, In This Moment released their latest album  Mother  (Roadrunner Records) with longtime producer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch). The record featured the GRAMMY® Award-nominated single “The In-Between .”  Last year, In This Moment released  Blood 1983  (BMG), a reimagined EP commemorating the tenth anniversary of their gold-selling album  Blood .

UB40 Announce Australian Tour With Special Guest EAGLE-EYE CHERRY

11 April 2024 The Rockpit

eagle rock tours tours

Prepare for a reggae-fuelled revolution as UB40 , the world’s top-selling reggae group, storms Australia this October. Celebrating 45 years of chart-topping hits, UB40 promises an explosive return to our shores, joined by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, Eagle-Eye Cherry .

UB40’s Red Red Wine Tour kicks off at Gold Coast’s Convention Centre on Saturday 12 October then heads to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and concludes at Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium on Sunday 20 October.  Fans can be first to buy tickets via the Telstra Presale commencing at 1.00pm (local time) on Friday 12 April with the general public on-sale at 1.00pm (local time) on Wednesday 17 April.

Experience the infectious beats of UB40 classics like ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, ‘Food for Thought’, ‘Please Don’t Make Me Cry’ and ‘Kingston Town’, alongside fresh tracks from their upcoming album ‘UB45’ which will be released worldwide on Friday 19 April.  With over 100 million albums sold globally, UB40’s legacy continues to captivate audiences with their timeless sound.

Robin Campbell says; “We’re visiting some pretty exotic places on this world tour including Latin America, the Caribbean and the East, but we are always buzzing to come back to Australia, the welcome we get from the fans down there is special and we can’t wait to return with our new album “UB45’.”

The band, after nearly 45 years, have landed a Top 10 hit single in the official UK charts with ‘Forever True’ . It’s a reworking of their debut 1980 hit ‘Food For Thought’, and is an anthem dedicated to their hometown Birmingham City Football Club. This is also their 51st hit record, with fans eagerly awaiting the release of their 45th anniversary album, UB45.

Coupled with their massive global album sales of over 100 million, UB40 have had 10 UK Top 10 albums. The band has stood the test of time, touring the world together and recording music shot through with an unbreakable bond, fostered by their long-standing friendships and shared Birmingham roots. The line-up proudly boasts all but one of the surviving founding members, now bolstered by the reinvigorating and re-energizing presence of vocalist Matt Doyle.

Adding to the excitement, Eagle-Eye Cherry brings his melodic blend of alternative rock to the stage, featuring hits like ‘Save Tonight’ .  Don’t miss this electrifying showcase of musical talent and camaraderie.

eagle rock tours tours

Eagle-Eye Cherry’s career changed with his breakthrough hit song ‘Save Tonight’ from his acclaimed debut album ‘Desiireless’. That album went on to sell 4 million copies worldwide and saw him garner global recognition for his melodic, folky blend of alternative rock.

Clearly, the Swedish singer-songwriter had something, other than just musical genes, being the son of late jazz trumpeter Don Cherry and sibling to 80’s star Neneh Cherry. His longevity and success have seen him release six albums – his most recent, ‘Back on Track’, which came out in January 2023.  Eagle-Eye Cherry’s song writing contains many infectious choruses that first brought him to the world’s attention.  He’s also been co-writing for other artists and films.

His live shows here in Australia will feature a selection of hits and songs across his multiple album releases, so make sure you catch the inexplicable magic of Eagle-Eye Cherry.

Tickets for UB40 and Eagle-Eye Cherry will sell fast – secure your spot for an unforgettable night of reggae and rock fusion!

Satisfaction Way: Glendale renames street for Rolling Stones concert at State Farm Stadium

eagle rock tours tours

Glendale, Arizona, is taking a page from its Taylor Swift playbook .

The city is ceremonially renaming a portion of 95th Avenue in Westgate Entertainment District Satisfaction Way in honor of the Rolling Stones ' concert on Tuesday, May 7 , at State Farm Stadium.

On Monday, April 15, Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers proclaimed May 7 to be Ruby Tuesday. He read the proclamation at a news conference that featured students from the School of Rock getting their ya-ya’s out on a cover of “Sympathy for the Devil.”

The mayor then boarded a cherry picker and was lifted up to uncover the Satisfaction Way sign.

Unlike any other street sign in the city, this one has the "Hackney Diamonds" update of the Stones' iconic tongue-and-lips logo.

Why Glendale is renaming a street for the Rolling Stones

If you're wondering why they're making all this fuss around a concert by the Rolling Stones in 2024, there are several reasons.

“This is the first act ever to bring three separate stadium tours to State Farm Stadium and Glendale,” City Manager Kevin Phelps says.

Plus, as city spokeswoman Sue Breding notes, they are "the world's great rock 'n' roll band."

Phelps himself is a bit of a Stones fan, having seen one of their earliest stadium shows in 1981 at the Kingdome in Seattle.

“When you think about how long ago 1981 was, I think it’s remarkable just the longevity and the fact that they’ve been able to span multiple generations of the same family who follow the music,” Phelps says. “I think it’s really unique.”

Mayor Weiers was thrilled to be involved in honoring the Rolling Stones.

"I grew up with the Stones," he says.

"I don’t think there’s too many people alive who don’t know who the Rolling Stones are. And whether you love them or not, you can’t argue the fact that they are one of the most — if not the most — popular rock ‘n’ roll bands ever. They cut across a lot of different groups of people. And how do you not like a guy who’s still performing more than 60 years later. It’s pretty incredible."

The Stones last played the stadium in 2019, a sold-out date on their No Filter Tour.

State Farm Stadium general manager Andy Gorchov says, "We are thrilled to be hosting The Rolling Stones for a third time. This marks another exciting addition to our lineup of prestigious events, reaffirming our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences to fans.”

The Rolling Stones agreed to Glendale using their iconic logo

The Rolling Stones were very agreeable to allowing the city to use their logo on the sign for Satisfaction Way, which stretches from Camelback Road to Glendale Avenue.

“When I first got to Glendale, we typically would try to reach out to artists coming in and we would have to do a lot of arm-twisting just to get them involved in any kind of additional promotion or opportunity,” Phelps says.

That’s before the Swift City campaign the city rolled out in honor of Taylor Swift launching The Eras Tour with two performances at State Farm Stadium in 2023, for which the city won a national marketing award.

Ruby Tuesday will be celebrated all along Satisfaction Way. You've got the concert to the south, of course. But on the north end, merchants in the Westgate Entertainment District will have special Ruby Tuesday offerings, ranging from Pour Some Brown Sugar on Me Wings at Shane’s Rib Shack to Paint it Black punch at Johnny’s Chicken & Waffles.

Phelps says the city has been very “entrepreneurial” in how it tries to leverage these opportunities.

“I think it’s important to understand why we’re doing this,” Phelps says. “The main reason is that there’s been this shift from just being a concert to now being an event. And that event is now going longer. People are staying in hotel rooms overnight.

"So part of what we’re doing, having fun with promoting the artist coming to Glendale, is just to remind them this is special, take some time off of work, come in and don’t just spend a few hours but maybe spend a few days here in Glendale.”

Glendale has done similar campaigns for Guns N' Roses, Taylor Swift

The first campaign Phelps recalls doing was for a Guns N’ Roses concert in 2016 . Glendale renamed itself Paradise City for that one.

At the time, he recalls, “it was hard to get the band and the manager engaged in that campaign.”

How does the city go about deciding when a concert rises to the level that suggests this type of campaign?

“We’re looking for that unique component to it,” Phelps says. “State Farm Stadium has been very successful the past couple years at bringing a whole host of artists that have filled up the stadium.”

'You don't want to hand out a thousand keys to the city'

There needs to be an angle, whether it’s a tour launch or the Stones becoming the first band to bring three separate tours to State Farm Stadium.

“You can go to the well too often,” Phelps says. “You don’t want to hand out a thousand keys to the city.

"But I would say this: We probably won’t force-feed what we can do as a city to help promote an event. It’s going to take a partnership with us and the artist and their management.”

The Stones were willing to lean into it and get creative, including allowing the use of their iconic lips logo.

“That really showed us that they were willing to assist us and it wasn’t just, ‘What can you do for us?’" Phelps said.

"It was, ‘How can we help you really have some fun with this?’ I think in the future, we’ll need to have that kind of partner. And then as long as we continue to show success with these types of campaigns, I think it’ll be easier to get the artist engaged.”

How Satisfaction Way is helping Glendale build its brand

To Phelps, this represents a long-term vision for the future of the city.

“This is helping the city of Glendale to build its brand around the Entertainment District,” Phelps says. “We’re putting this effort in to help our merchants and our hotels in the area really leverage what we’re doing. I’m just fortunate to have a really creative team in our media department that really thinks out of the box on this stuff.”

Aerosmith announces rescheduled 2024-25 farewell tour dates. Get tickets

No need to “Dream On” much longer.

Aerosmith has finally announced the rescheduled dates of their ‘Peace Out’ farewell tour with special guests The Black Crowes and Teddy Swims on select dates.

The 40-concert jaunt will take the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers to arenas all over North America from September 2024 up until February 2025.

Notable shows include stops at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Saturday, Dec. 28 and New York’s Madison Square Garden on Feb. 23, 2025.

Their last gig is scheduled for Feb. 26, 2025 at Buffalo’s KeyBank Center .

This upcoming trek will be the second attempt at rescheduling the tour; Steven Tyler sustained vocal cord damage at a Sept. 9, 2023 concert in Long Island — just three shows into their run — and the band had to postpone indefinitely.

“All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows,” Aerosmith shared on Instagram .

If you haven’t gotten tickets yet and want to sing along to “Sweet Emotion,” “Walk This Way,” “Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” and so many more hits one last time, tickets can be scooped up for all ‘Peace Out’ concerts as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, April 12, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

A complete calendar including all rescheduled ‘Peace Out’ tour dates, venues, and links to buy tickets can be found below.

The original Aerosmtih lineup won’t be fully intact on this run of concerts.

Yes, lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton and rhythm guitarist Brad Whitford are slated to perform at all shows.

However, drummer Joey Kramer will be sitting this run of shows out to “focus his attention on his family and health” according to  AP News .

Kramer, 72, will be replaced by John Douglas who has drummed with the band since 2019.

Aerosmith got three shows deep into their ‘Peace Out’ Farewell Tour before postponing.

For a closer look, here’s what they played at a recent live show courtesy of  Set List FM :

01.) “Back in the Saddle”

02.) “Same Old Song and Dance”

03.) “Rag Doll”

04.) “Livin’ on the Edge”

05.) “Janie’s Got a Gun”

06.) “No More No More”

07.) “Cryin’”

08.) “Adam’s Apple”

09.) “Hangman Jury”

10.) “Seasons of Wither”

11.) “Movin’ Out”

12.) “Love in an Elevator”

13.) “Stop Messin’ Around” (Fleetwood Mac cover)

14.) “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”

15.) “Rats in the Cellar”

16.) “Sweet Emotion”

17.) “Toys in the Attic”

18.) “Dream On”

19.) “Walk This Way”

On all dates except their opener when they’ll perform with Teddy Swims, Aerosmith will be joined by  The Black Crowes aka Rolling Stone’s “best new band of 1990.”

The band, known for mega hits “Hard To Handle” and “She Talks To Angels,” is also conducting a solo tour of their own this year including a show at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on April 27.

In 1973, the 25-year-old Tyler was given guardianship of 16-year-old Julia Holcomb so the two could live together.

After a tumultuous three-year relationship, the two broke up.

Nearly 50 years later, Holcomb — who now goes by Julia Misley — filed a lawsuit in December 2022. In the suit, she claimed Tyler sexually assaulted her, forced her to abort their child, and convinced her to drink and take drugs after he promised to serve as her guardian.

In the trial, Tyler alleged the relationship was consensual and had immunity because of his guardian status.

Legal experts have since said “caregiver immunity” does not exist if you sexually abuse the person you’ve taken in.

“The lawsuit came in the final days of California’s Child Victims Act, which temporarily lifted the statute of limitations for survivors of childhood sexual abuse to come forward with their allegations,” Consequence of Sound reported.

Jeanne Bellino, another minor that was sexually abused by Tyler in the 1970s, also filed a lawsuit against him; US District Judge Lewis Kaplan threw the case out this February because she “had waited too long to sue Tyler under a New York City law protecting victims of gender-motivated violence,” Reuters wrote.

“(Kaplan) said Bellino did not qualify for a two-year window to pursue claims that would otherwise extend beyond statutes of limitations, because she did not allege that Tyler’s conduct posed a “serious risk of physical injury.”

Many of the biggest acts that defined the sound of the ’70s and ’80s are back on the road this year for another spin.

Here are just five of our favorite classic rockers you won’t want to miss live these next few months.

•  Rolling Stones

•  Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

•  Neil Young

•  Bob Dylan with Willie Nelson and Robert Plant

•  Electric Light Orchestra

About Aerosmith

Celebrating their 50th anniversary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million albums around the world, produced genre-defining music videos such as “Amazing,” “Crazy,” “Janie’s Got A Gun,” “Livin’ On The Edge,” and “Love In An Elevator,” and launched extravagant record-shattering global tours, most recently with their smash hit Las Vegas residency. The band has broken numerous boundaries, including becoming the first rock band with a massive commercially successful hip-hop collaboration with Run DMC on “Walk This Way” and the first hard rock band to appear during a Super Bowl Halftime Show with their 2001 performance, and in 1999, Aerosmith became the first band to have their own themed attraction at Disney World in Florida and later Paris with the launch of the Rock ‘N’ Roller coaster starring Aerosmith. For more information, visit Aerosmith.com .

About The Black Crowes

The Black Crowes are leaving the bullshit in the past. 15 years after their last album of original music, the Robinson Brothers present Happiness Bastards – their 10th studio album. Some may say the project has been several tumultuous years in the making, but we argue it’s arriving at just the right time. Call it brotherly love or music destiny that brought them back together, the highly anticipated record consecrating the reunion of this legendary band just may be the thing that saves rock & roll. In a time where the art form is buried beneath the corporate sheen of its successors, The Black Crowes are biting back with the angst of words left unsaid penned on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing stripped, bare-boned rock & roll. No gloss, no glitter, just rhythm and blues at its very best – gritty, loud, and in your face. Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they’ve made a triumphant return to form with over 150 shows spanning 20 countries worldwide, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker , the album that put them on the map. The Robinson Brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien headed to the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023 and the experiences of years past transcribed themself through the music as the band found their way back to their roots. And it’s finally here – Happiness Bastards is out now.
