The lights came up on the stage, and Colton Place and Bryce Klemer launched into their complex guitar riffs, before Ryan Naglich joined in on the bass, soon followed by David Delaney on the drums, and Sean Rawlings on keyboard. All of the band were dressed in their typical surf attire, with board shorts and caps, ready to rock the show. Although the band haven’t been going for long, they’re building a huge name for themselves very quickly, and this is mainly due to their catchy song writing, and their incredible talents on their respective instruments.

The way that they fuse together rock and roll influences with hip hop and reggae is incredibly clever, and creates a genre that’s easily accessible for a huge spectrum of potential fans. They played a great selection of tracks, and plenty of improvisations throughout their set, and even got the audience singing and dancing along from start to finish. When they played Dreaming, Colton jumped down off of the stage with his guitar, and rocked out to the chorus from the front of the audience. It was awesome to see him play so close up, and the way that he danced and played simultaneously with such ease really made me appreciate how talented all of that band really are.

Pacific Dub & The Movement have announced that they will be joining forces for what they’re calling the Easy Love Summer Tour . We have quotes from both bands talking about the tour along with some of the tour dates that have been announced. There will be more added, but for now, lets take a peak…

The Pier caught up with Gary of The Movement & Bryce of Pacific Dub, to get their thoughts and insight on what fans can expect from the upcoming tour. Turns out this is the first time the 2 will even share the stage together. Both groups were featured on the August 2010 release of the Sense Boardwear Acoustic Compilation submitting acoustic renditions of songs. Both groups will be playing new songs expected to be on future releases on the same stage, on a world wide tour. Remember MORE tour dates to come.
