Tour Edge is a golf equipment company that tends to do a little less advertising and promotion than other brands in the industry.

The result of this is that you may not know as much about these clubs, but their pricing is usually a little bit less.

I recently tested the Tour Edge Bazooka 370 golf set, and it seemed like a really fair price for all that was included.

Overall, this set offers tremendous value. It is a great golf set for beginners and high handicappers.

Tour Edge Bazooka 370 Review and Benefits

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

One of the first things that will stand out about the Tour Edge Bazooka 370 is how reasonably priced it is.

In addition to the fair pricing, I really wanted to see how the distance, forgiveness, and overall ease of use stood up against other complete golf sets on the market.

What’s Included

The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 Set comes with 12 golf clubs. You really won’t need to add anything additional to the set. In addition, you also get a golf bag and a few headcovers .

  • Pitching Wedge
  • Sand Wedge
  • Golf Bag and Headcovers

Driver and Fairway Woods

Driver in the tour edge bazooka 370 set

The first thing I like to look for in these complete golf sets is whether or not the driver is a 460cc club head. This is the current USGA max , and you may as well take advantage of the largest and most forgiving golf club head size you can.

Players will enjoy an optimized center of gravity and a relatively high launch from the driver. The driver’s head is not adjustable, but it is set at 10.5 degrees, making it a fair amount of loft for golfers still new to the game.

This Tour Edge Bazooka 370 is not the longest club I’ve ever hit, but it was relatively accurate. I can see this as a good choice for those needing the extra forgiveness.

The set also comes with a 15 and a 19 degree fairway wood. These fairway woods have a low center of gravity and increase total launch. In fact, I loved using them as an alternative to the driver on certain holes.

Out of the rough, the 4 hybrid or the 5 wood are forgiving enough that you won’t be penalized for having your drive land here.

Hybrid and Irons

Our test of the 7 iron in the tour edge bazooka 370 set

There is only one hybrid included in the Tour Edge 370 Complete Set. Instead of two hybrids, they have put a 5 iron in play. This is really my one major complaint about this set of golf clubs. Sometimes it’s hard to hit the 5 iron if you have a slower swing speed.

However, these irons were designed to be more heel and toe weighted. The result is a lower center of gravity and a higher overall ball flight. In addition, these are cavity back irons, so you can expect they offer plenty of forgiveness when hit in the center of the face.

Outside of the 5 iron (which requires a little extra speed), the overall performance of these golf irons was very consistent.

Wedge and Putter

testing the bazooka 370 putter

There is a sand wedge and a pitching wedge included as part of the Tour Edge set. You may consider adding a lob wedge from another brand with high spin levels.

These wedges are easy to work with and very forgiving, but not necessarily the most impressive when it comes to spin rates.

The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 set comes with a classic blade-style putter . The putter has an alignment aid to help with visualization, and the overall feel of the clubface is pretty soft.

You may not keep this putter forever, but it’s a good start.

Golf Bag

The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 set comes with either a lightweight stand bag or a cart bag. The cart bag is only available in the senior set. Both of the bags have plenty of storage, and they come with an 8-way divider top to keep the clubs from hitting each other as you play and practice.

I like the stand bag a bit better than the cart bag, as it is versatile and durable. The cart bag is nice for storage, but it certainly makes it difficult to walk the golf course and carry it with you.

Tour Edge Bazooka 370 Pros and Cons

The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 has lots of impressive features. Overall I really liked the forgiveness that this set offers.

It may not provide the most impressive distance technology on the market, but if you miss the center of the clubface, you won’t be punished badly for it. Paired with a forgiving golf ball , you’d be in good shape.

tour edge bazooka 370 4 hybrid review

The major negative here is the 5 iron. It’s just hard for most average to slow swing speed beginners to hit a 5 iron with ease.

However, if you happen to have a little extra speed in your game, this 5-iron will likely be a club you enjoy.

  • Very forgiving golf clubs
  • Includes two fairway woods for more versatility in the set
  • Impressive performance from the rough
  • Higher launching golf clubs
  • Regular and senior shaft options
  • 5 iron is a bit more difficult to hit than a 5 hybrid
  • Distance from this set is not quite as long as other options on the market

Hmm. As bad as my bunker play is as of late I may need to try one. Thanks for the pic and review. Very informative.

An update. Played 2 more rounds with it, and still am smitten with it. Learned to like the heavy head on full shots and now is becoming my go to club 85yards and in. Wet conditions today at the course and that wide sole saved me Alot. I can't say enough how much I love this wedge. And how much better it is than the smart sole. Love my first Tour Edge product.

Nice review, thank you! Next to putters, I think wedges are the most fickle clubs to find a good match with and having one you feel real confident about can help shave strokes from that score card. Congratulations.

Good review. Interesting because I've seen the clubs you've mentioned on that site... but decided to pull the trigger on a Cleveland CG16 black pearl sand wedge... I didn't even consider the bazooka 1 out... Are you finding that the wedge gives consistent results on all of your shot attempts? How does it react if the club face is a bit more open than you think it is at address? I ask the second question because I've lined up with my CG16 to chip and I guess I've got the club face open as the ball goes shooting off the toe and goes entirely the wrong direction in a shank away from me.

Okay so 6 rounds and many range sessions logged with this wedge and I really think we have a winner here. 49.99 and is arguably dare I say my favorite wedge I have ever purchased. I'm finally getting the wedge to check on longer pitches and full swings. It has more bite than my Tour Trustys which is interested because there is no extra face milling. this wedge has gotten me up and down more in the past week and a half then I have all summer. The sole on this wedge just oozes confidence on any shot. To answer scorpion12 I do not recommend opening the face up, the sole is to large and unless u were sitting up on a fluffy rough lie u could not get under the ball. It's a 58 degree wedge tho so it gives u all the loft u need on most shots. I've been very pleased with how this wedge has worn. Not much wear and been struck approximately 100+ times. Everything is holding up fantastic. This wedge is a keeper Guys 49.99 rock bottom golf, it's almost a bad idea not to try it.

You answered my question. Good job finding a wedge that works for you. The problem I occasionally have with my wedge is that I'll line up for a shot and address my ball. If I'm not paying attention the face of my wedge will be left of parallel to the ball (I'm a lefty) and the ball comes off the toe... if I keep the face of the club more to the right of parallel to the ball, it does fine. It's just me being lazy and not paying attention. (And no, it's not intentional when this happens and the ball coming off the toe)

Just updating. I'm probably 20+ rounds in now with this wedge and it is now 2nd to my putter for my most used club (says alot about my GIR huh?). I love it. I highly suggest trying it, really is an amazing deal. Quality wise it is wearing very well. I've hit out of some rocky sand traps and only usual nicks. Love this club on chips and even more on full shots.

I know their bazooka line is "inspired" by other items, but I cant help but look at this and see a near identical remake of the SmartSole. They messed up on the weight placement in my opinion, but I am sure it functions fine.

Desperate here ... anybody have anything good to say about this wedge. It's one of those game improvement wedges. I'm a scratch golfer that struggles with one shot

The tight lob wedge pitch. Put grass under the ball and I'm Jason day but in tight fairway I'm awful. Sand is no issue for me I'm just looking to get a club that gives me relative confidence over the tight 75 yrd shot or high lob.

This club was at pga ss today and seemed excellent but I always seem to go down this road once a year with a Handful of experimental clubs.

But any info on this one would be great. I know there are many good players that struggle with this shot and all players in general

Not sure there is a "magic" lob wedge out there. And on thin lies it definitely would not be one with a ton of bounce.

For me the full "lob" shot is all about technique. When I started trying to get consistent with it, I started with the ball back in my stance, and gradually moved up. Now I can play a full 60 degree wedge shot accurately within a 30 yard range just by changing the setup.

I don't have experience with that club, but do with that same shot. What I do is try and pitch-run the ball up. 75 yards is my 8 iron runner. Let the ball do the work. If I have to loft it in there, then the ball is played in the back of my stance so that I don't hit it fat and I go 1/2 swing on a wedge. Usually pops it up nicely. Still prefer the runner as I almost always end up on the side of the green I want (front or back)

Callaway Sure Out 58 degrees, give it a shot you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have one that I got as a throw in when I bought a couple of other Tour Edge wedges at a golf show a couple of years ago. I didn’t use it much until the middle of last summer and I’ve had a lot of success with it. I wasn’t horrible with regular wedges out of the sand but the 1 Out has made me a lot more consistent. It’s also works well in deep rough. I does take a little getting used to when using it from the fairway but now I’m pretty automatic with it inside 50 yards.

Tour Edge Bazooka Club Sets – Review

  • Updated on: April 6, 2019

Learn more about our team of experts & our testing process here .

Quick Jump -

Tour Edge released their Bazooka golf club set not so long ago, but the product has already become incredibly popular among all types of golfers. Beginners and intermediate golfers like Tour Edge Bazooka because it is good quality affordable set of clubs, thus allowing them to get started in golf without going into debt. Bazooka set comes with 11-12 clubs, depending on which model you buy. There is 260 model, which is older one, and the newer release – Tour Edge Bazooka 360. I’m going to review both of them, and let the readers decide which one they prefer. In my opinion, newer version is obviously better, but there are few aspects, such as price of it, that might make Bazooka 260 club set a more attractive option.

  • Tour Edge Bazooka Steel Box Set
  • Tour Edge Women Bazooka 260 Full Set
  • Tour Edge 2020 Bazooka 270 Full Set
  • Tour Edge Bazooka 360 Senior Full Set

Right now, Amazon only offers right-handed version of 260, but 360 is available for southpaws as well. Both Bazooka sets are extremely stylish, but when it comes to functionality, things get a little muddled. For that, we’ll compare the two in our tour edge bazooka review and hopefully help you decide which one will meet your needs the best.

It should also be noted that there are Bazooka 260 club sets for women as well as for men. I’m not sure about Tour Edge Bazooka 360, I couldn’t find women’s club set online, but there might be one. In this Tour Edge Bazooka review, I will be talking about men’s version of both, but since they are the same model, I assume women’s Bazooka club set will be pretty much the same, with minor differences that women’s clubs usually have.

Tour Edge Bazooka 360 Review

This club set includes 12 individual clubs, four headcovers and an extremely useful stand bag. Set is available for southpaws as well as right-handed golfers. Price is higher than most basic golf club sets, but despite that, Tour Edge Bazooka 360 is great value for the money. In my opinion, this is the best golf club set beginners can find on market right now. It has everything – forgiving clubs, stylish and functional design, quality craftsmanship. The best part of it all is the price. If bought separately, golf clubs of equivalent quality would cost much more than what they cost when bought as bundle of clubs included in Tour Edge Bazooka 360 set. Now let’s get to individual clubs.

Titanium Matrix driver that comes with this set has club head that is 460cc large. You are probably aware that it’s the largest driver head size allowed by rules of golf. Oversized club head is not the only game-improving feature that this driver has. Special design encourages shots to have high MOI and also weight positioning is used to make golf balls travel longer distances.  On top of that, unlike most woods, woods that come with this set are very easy to hit and forgiving. Which is one of the reasons for why I think that this set is perfect for beginner golfers.

Makers of this club set have realized that long irons were too hard to hit, so they looked for alternatives and found hybrids to be a good one. Hybrid that comes with this set has stainless steel head and is designed to be easy to hit for beginners. Irons, on the other hand, are optimized for accuracy, but designers didn’t sacrifice forgiveness while aiming to make precise golf irons. Material used to make these irons is stainless steel. I have nothing but praise for the putter. It is easy to shoot and deadly accurate, just as you’d want from a putter.

Tour Edge Bazooka 260 Review

This version is different from 360 one in few important ways. First of all, it’s significantly cheaper, but surprisingly, Tour Edge managed to make this version cheaper without sacrificing even an inch of quality or performance of the clubs. As I’ve mentioned before, Bazooka 360 set is one of the best bargains for beginners right now, but this set offers even more value for the price. Don’t get me wrong, when compared without regard to price, 360 is definitely the superior one. On the other hand, when you’re limited in budget and want the best value for your money, no other option compares to Tour Edge Bazooka 260.  This set is advertised as having 15 pieces, but the actual number of clubs is 11. You shouldn’t let that discourage you though, because I think 11 clubs are more than enough for a beginner and even intermediate golfer.

Oversized 460cc driver included in this set is great for golfers of all sorts, but especially for beginners. That’s because the titanium matrix driver is designed to be extremely forgiving and promote long shots. Likewise, because of its low-CG design, 3-wood is easy to hit and more accurate than most. Just like the 360 version, this set includes a hybrid in place of long iron. Tour Edge’s r&d team also did a very good job with design and manufacturing of irons that are included in this set. They are forgiving and extremely accurate, just as you’d expect from Tour Edge irons. Putter is also accurate, mainly thanks to its handy design.

The Best Left-Handed Golf Clubs & Sets

The majority of golfers play the game right handed. In fact, it’s estimated that only 5-7 percent of golfers in all of North America are lefties. This means that from the millions of clubs that get manufactured in bulk each year, the majority will be built for right handed players. In this article, I’m going to help you solve this problem by bringing you a list of the best left handed golf clubs around.

The Best Hybrid Iron Sets

If you’re a player who struggles to hit your irons, you might be considering taking them out of the bag and investing in some hybrid irons. Hybrid irons offer a little more support in terms of launch and are generally easier to hit than regular irons. I for one am a strong believer that we should be trying to make the game of golf as easy as possible! So in this article, I’ll be bringing you my round-up of some of the best hybrid iron sets around.

The Overall Best Golf Clubs for the Money?

Ok, I get it. You are looking for a complete golf set. Not only do the clubs have to perform, but the price has to be right too! You can go down several routes, from buying a complete set to assembling your very own custom set.

Here’s the truth. It’s always going to be a balancing act when you are trying to get the best golf clubs for the money you have available to invest in a new set. Fortunately, I’ve got a few great suggestions which I am going to share.

Best Golf Clubs for Seniors

As a senior golfer, you might be starting to worry that your lowest scores are behind you. But the reality is, there are plenty of senior golfers who have been playing for decades (and with that experience in the tank and a little help from modern technology), there’s no reason you can’t play some of the best golf of your life.

In this article, I’ll be reviewing some of the best golf clubs for seniors to help you find some that suit your game.

Best Junior Golf Clubs for 2021

Here we take a closer look at some of the best golf club sets for kids that are just starting out, many of which are made by specialist junior golf club manufacturers, feature shorter and more flexible shafts to ensure young golfers can hit the golf ball properly and get more enjoyment from the game.

I have had Cobras, Calaways, and Nikes. This time I let my golf pro fit me for a set of irons. He fit me for a set of Tour Edge, and I MFed him for the first 3 holes of my first round with them. This is until I reolized I had not hit a bad iron shot all day. I love them, The best set I have ever had. I general shoot in the 100's, today I shot in the 90's.

That is my pro's problem.

After starting golf with a 32 handicap, finally decided quality new technology would start to help. Price vs. value CAN'T COMPARE! Extremely forgiving on mis-hits. Almost one club further across the board. Also have the Driver, 3 and 5. The Titanium 5 wood hits the ball like a ROCKET....and I'm currently a 19 handicapp. Look great at address and the low and back center of gravity get the ball in the air quick with a great trajectory. Will be playing these for a long time...and at $399, have alot left over for golf!

I've been looking to elevate my game with a good set of custom clubs. I am 6-4 260 with an upright swing. I hate the fact that I've been settling for less than a perfect fit. I have experimented with many clubs and configurations to get a proper fit and finally was ready to break down and buy a pro-line set. I expected to get the Pings I've been looking at but I found the 350J instead. Easy to set up at address good contact is rewarded with a high but penetrating ball flight which holds in a headwind. The construction of the club makes it feel like a forged iron soft and responsive, and you can work the ball as well. You will be about a club longer with every shot which takes some adjustment but is gratifying. Tour Edge really gave me more for my money, I like the standard Winn grips and Rifle Steel Shafts in particular. On the downside if you hit a bad shot the soft steel will let you know. I had a couple of stingers on my first round. All concidered a great club for a reasonable price. If you can demo this club give it a chance before you spend more on a pro-line that isn't exactly right. I got my clubs built to my specs 1" over, 2° Upright, Mid grips, in 5 working days.

Have not needed it for this product but my experience with Tour Edge has been good.

Hawkeye Clones, Acer, Pinseeker TPW, Ping I3, Tour Model 3, Golden Bear Beginner Set.

I recently ordered a set of these Bazooka 350J's and, after playing several rounds with them, I think they're the best irons I've ever had. Great looking at setup, very forgiving on mis-hits, and feel great when you find the sweet spot. Get custom fit for best performance. Great clubs at a great price.

Haven't needed

Taylor Made Super Steel, Nicklaus

Forget the PING I3, FORGET the Callaway X-14. The Tour Edge 350J irons are the very best on the market... period! I swung these at my pro shop after my friend and golf pro suggested I give em a try. I bought them that moment and my Callaway X-14's went up for sale on E-bay! You probably haven't heard of Tour Edge. The don't advertise like Callaway which means not many people recogize the name. And because not many people recogize the name, the 350J's are't the club to have if you're trying to show off in the clubhouse. But trust me on these! They have a lifetime warranty on the shafts. LIFETIME!!! They're realitively inexpensive and they play very long and forgiving! I've never been so impressed with irons as the Tour Edge Bazooka 350J's. Just give em' a try and you'll fall in love too! Good luck golfers!

Lifetime Warranty on the irons so I'll never have to buy another set again!

Callaway X-14 pro, Callaway X-14, Ping I3 O-size.

One word: AWESOME! These clubs have titanium faces so it will pound it. It will add about 5-10 yard to each club. Very forgiving. The MSRP is about $990 for graphite, but you can get them for about $500 anywhere. Tour Edge offers a lifetime graphite shaft warranty. Overall great clubs.

It is good. Very nice people.

Armour 845 oversize and titanium irons.

Great feel, the ball really jumps. Forgiving on mis-hits. Light weight helps generate tremendous club speed. Down-side is the durability. Have had the clubs for just one season and already broke 4 different club heads from the shaft. Fortunately Tour Edge has a lifetime warranty, but the two - three week wait for the club to be repaired is getting old. The street price makes them a value - $400- $500

Our Tour Edge Bazooka 470 Set Review (Worth It in 2024?)

Henry Foster Image

The Tour Edge Bazooka 470 Complete Set is an excellent option for the mid to high handicapper looking for a brand new set of clubs.

You may not be overly familiar with the Tour Edge brand, but their Bazooka line of golf clubs has become very popular.

In this Tour Edge Bazooka review, we will explain exactly what you get with the Tour Edge Bazooka 470 set and a few alternatives if this is not the best pick for your golf game.

Tour Edge Bazooka 470 Set Review

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

What’s Included In The Set: Driver, 3 Wood, 5 Wood, 4 & 5 Hybrid, 6-SW, Putter, Stand Bag

Features And Benefits

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

Player Handicap

One of the biggest problems you will run into when looking for a complete club set is the fact that they are all made for beginner golfers .

One of the things we love most about this particular Bazooka Golf Club set is that it will work for a beginner golfer all the way to a middle handicapper .

The Bazooka Tour Edge 470 has a really great set makeup with a mix of fairways and hybrids that will have you set with all the golf clubs you will ever need to excel in this game.

Some may eventually add in a lob wedge , but you are undoubtedly fine to get by without it for a while.

Shaft Options

The Bazooka Golf Clubs do not have any customizable shafts or shaft options. The woods are going to have graphite shafts, and the irons will have a stainless steel shaft in them.

Some Bazooka sets do give you the option for graphite in the irons as well, but this will change the price slightly. You will also get a cart bag with the graphite shaft irons, with the steel shafts you get a stand bag.

The flex is going to be a uniflex shaft that will feel very close to a regular stainless steel golf shaft.

Look/Sound/Feel

Beginners golf clubs are known for being forgiving and relatively long , but they don’t always have a great feel. This is not the case with the Tour Edge Bazooka. These clubs feel like a traditional cavity back set of irons . If you want to hit a draw or a fade, you can.

The clubs themselves are easy to hit, but they have a great look to them. Combine that with the styling and design of the stand bag, and you will not just be ready to golf, but you will look like a golfer!

Forgiveness

The sweet spot on the 460 cc driver is quite large. Even if you miss the center of the clubface on the driver, you will get plenty of distance with this golf club. The irons have a very low center of gravity with a wide sole that makes them easy to hit.

Even the three and five wood have a slightly offset design to help you get the ball headed straight down the middle of the fairway.

As far as weighting is concerned, the set is a little bit light . If you have a very fast swing speed or are extremely strong, you may want to look into a club set with even more durable stainless steel shafts than these.

Considering this is a full club set with highly forgiving clubs, including fairway woods and hybrids , the price is pretty incredible.

You will have a hard time finding a better deal than this for the quality that you get with the Tour Edge Bazooka set.

Pros and Cons of The Tour Edge Bazooka 470

The Tour Edge Bazooka 470 golf set has both positives and negatives. Like any golf product, you can’t expect that the Tour Edge Bazooka will be the perfect fit for all players. When we look at the Tour Edge set there are more positives than negatives. Before you make your final purchase consider some of these positives and negatives.

  • Great set makeup
  • Comes with two fairway woods
  • Has two hybrid clubs included in the set
  • Large 460cc driver head
  • Forgiving golf putter
  • Large golf bag with plenty of storage
  • Total of six irons included
  • Can work for the higher handicapper and beginner or the mid handicapper
  • Not a great option for the high swing speed player
  • Clubs do not have as much longevity as a premium golf set from Tour Edge or another brand

Frequently Asked Questions

Many golfers wonder if the Tour Edge Bazooka 470 could be a good fit for their game. There are many complete set options like this Tour Edge on the market and it can take some time and dedication to narrow down which are the best for your needs. Let’s take a look at a few of the questions golfers have about the Tour Edge Bazooka 470 and the Tour Edge brand in general.

Who Should Play With The Tour Edge Bazooka 470?

The Tour Edge Bazooka 470 is the perfect complete set option for a golfer that is new to the game or plays an occasional round and does not want to spend a fortune on a completely new set of golf clubs.

The Bazooka has very fair pricing and the playability of the set is quite good. Golfers will find that they can enjoy forgiveness and feel with the Bazooka and not be restricted because of the set having a small sweet spot or difficult to flex golf shafts.

With the Tour Edge Bazooka, we typically see players in the mid to high handicap range go for this set of clubs. In addition, if you are on a budget but still want some quality and technology the Bazooka 470 could be a great overall choice.

Are The Tour Edge Bazooka 470 Clubs Good?

The Tour Edge Bazooka 470 clubs are good and they are a solid fit for many players looking for an increase in technology for a very fair price. If your golf set is a bit outdated and you need to upgrade everything at once, the Tour Edge Bazooka 470 is a great choice.

Many complete set options from manufacturers use basic technology and they try and release a set of clubs at a low price just to attract the budget shopper. Although the Tour Edge golf clubs are fairly priced, they are also known for being forgiving and having plenty of distance.

We can’t tell you that the Tour Edge will have anywhere near the technology of something like the new TaylorMade Stealth but you are also going to be looking at two completely different price ranges.

Overall the technology featured in the Tour Edge Bazooka 470 makes them a very good choice for a large group of golfers.

Is Tour Edge A Good Golf Brand?

Tour Edge is a good golf brand but it may not be as well known as other golf brands. The Tour Edge company focuses on fairly priced golf equipment for the average player. There is a division of this company that will also work with players who are looking to try and perfect their game and lower scores, but that is a smaller division and those are the Tour Edge Exotics.

The Tour Edge brand does not advertise nearly as much as other golf manufacturers and that is partly why some golfers wonder if the products are good. If you are not being shown all of the latest releases from a company you may wonder what the reasoning is behind this.

The good thing about seeing less advertising from a brand is that their marketing expenses are lower and the overall product prices may also be lower.

Are Tour Edge Clubs Forgiving?

The Tour Edge golf clubs, especially those in the Bazooka 470 set are very forgiving. The clubs are perimeter weighed cavity back irons. In addition, the fairway woods have large sweet spots and the hybrids have a bit of extra weight to help them pull through the rough to hit a great shot.

With the shafts in the Tour Edge golf clubs, there is also quite a bit of forgiveness and high launch that golfers will see. If you struggle to get the ball up high enough or have a problem with dispersion, the Tour Edge golf clubs could be a perfect fit for your needs.

Why Are Tour Edge Golf Clubs Less Expensive?

Tour Edge golf clubs are less expensive because they have different marketing and business strategies and try to appeal to the golfer that is on a budget. If you are one of these players the Tour Edge brand is good to consider.

In addition, if you are looking for individual clubs that are not part of the Tour Edge Bazooka set you may be able to get them custom ordered through the Tour Edge website for a very fair price. Many golfers need custom-fit golf clubs and this requires you to purchase something brand new from a top manufacturer.

Luckily Tour Edge also allows for custom fit golf clubs but the price point is considerably lower. Most golfers can get irons for a little less than $100 an iron which is something that we typically don’t see from custom golf clubs.

The fact that Tour Edge golf clubs are slightly less expensive should not be something that keeps you from purchasing this brand. The lower price has nothing to do with the overall quality of the product.

Alternatives

If the Bazooka 470 isn’t for you, there are other options out there.

These three are the most closely related to the golfer that would be interested in the Tour Edge Bazooka.

Tour Edge Bazooka 370

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

  • Priced lower than the Bazooka 470
  • Good set makeup for a beginner
  • Lightweight bag
  • Shafts are not quite as strong as 470
  • Better suited for beginner

The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 is the little brother to the 470. This set will be a bit more forgiving and have a more oversized clubhead design.

If you are a newer golfer and like the complete option that the 470 gives but are not sure you want to spend as much money, the 370 makes a great choice.

These clubs have a very thin face , which will help you get a little more distance than the clubs you are currently playing with. This set includes a Driver , 3 & 5 wood , 4 Hybrid , 5-SW , and a putter .

So the set makeup is similar to the Tour Edge Bazooka 470, except you get one more iron and one less hybrid. It still comes with steel shafts and a lightweight stand bag.

Callaway Strata Tour

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

  • Price is very fair, similar to Tour Edge
  • Easy to hit clubs
  • Tour model is more for players that have played some golf
  • Not for faster swing speeds

Callaway makes quite a few complete club set options. However, the one that is most similar is the Callaway Strata Tour .

The Tour comes in both a stiff and regular golf shaft , so it is geared for the player that a bit more of an idea as to what their game is capable of.

Just like the Tour Edge Bazooka, the Callaway comes with a 460cc driver and all the clubs necessary to put together a complete easy to hit set.

The Callaway has the name brand behind it, but the player with more experience should look more at the 470 than the Callaway Strata Tour.

Cobra Speed XL

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

  • Complete set makeup
  • Stainless steel irons
  • Great set for the price
  • More expensive than the 470

Last is the Cobra Speed Complete Set . The Cobra is a bit more of a premium option than the Tour Edge Bazooka, and because of that, you will pay a bit more money for it.

The Cobra Speed will have a complete set makeup with two hybrids and two fairways.

If you are a mid handicap golfer that is looking for a great value with plenty of forgiveness and performance , the Cobra is a great choice. This set will have a better feel than any of the other options in this review.

Hopefully, this Tour Edge Bazooka review helped you learn more about what these clubs can offer your game. Choosing a set of clubs can be difficult.

Some may have a driver you love, but the irons are not right for your game. Another may have great short game tools but terrible long game tools.

The Tour Edge Bazooka is a wonderful option because it gives you a quality product across the long and short game.

The 460cc driver, the stainless steel-shafted irons, and even the forgiving and great feeling putter make this set one of the best values on the market.

Tour Edge Bazooka 370 Golf Clubs Set Review Vs Alternatives

Tour edge bazooka 370 golf clubs set review.

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

There are a lot of beginner golf club sets that should be well, avoided, quite honestly. Trust us, we’ve had our hands on some truly horrid beginner’s golf club sets, heads flying off, shafts breaking and shoddy quality.

Even though they are marketed towards beginners they still lack any substance that would help anyone with their game.

Unfortunately there are a lot of beginner’s sets that seem to depend on the player not knowing any better. But today we wanted to highlight a set that actually has something to offer new players in the Tour Edge Bazooka 370 set as they quickly establish their name as a quality set.

First Impressions

When we first got ahold of the Tour Edge Bazooka 370 clubs we were immediately impressed because they looked like a premium set.

They came in a handsome stand bag and all the essential clubs were there. But would they prove themselves on the course? We were about to find out.

Breaking Down What’s In The Bag

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

The driver, like most of the clubs in this set features an ultra-thin face which allows weight to be redistributed in the perimeter of the 460cc head.

So the sweet spot is expanded and flex is increased even on off-center shots. The driver is set to 10.5 degrees of loft.

The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 set comes with #3 and #5 fairway woods.

The oversized head but low profile shape of the fairway wood heads are reminiscent of tour-grade clubs. The #3 is set to 15 degrees and the #5 is set to 19 degrees.

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

The #4 hybrid in the set mimics the low-profile design of the fairway woods to seamlessly bridge the gap between fairway wood and long irons.

It’s set to 24 degrees and has a comfortable, deep center of gravity.

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

With the Tour Edge Bazooka 370, you get irons 5 through 9. These irons are certainly congenial to beginner players.

They bear slightly larger heads than what is typical and feature progressive undercuts to help out with accuracy.

Included in the set are a pitching wedge at 46 degrees and a sand wedge at 55 degrees.

Again, the thin face of the wedges allows for more flex and perimeter stability for solid contact on almost every section of the face.

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

Last but not least is an answer-style putter which is lightweight and feels like an extension of your hands.

The alignment markers are easy to use and the heel and toe weighting give this putter a very balanced feel.

Club Composition

The driver, fairway woods and the #4 hybrid all feature graphite shafts and are available in regular or stiff flex.

The irons and the wedges are made of a lightweight steel and are also available in either stiff or regular flex. The heads of the irons are made from cavity-backed stainless steel.

But perhaps the most interesting composition feature comes in the driver. It features a titanium matrix face that not only allows it to be ultra-thin but high flex as well.

Club Options

You can get the Tour Edge Bazooka 370 complete set in either right or left handed orientations.

There are also options for senior and uniflex. If you are a right hand player, you have the option of getting the set in +1” shaft lengths. You can also choose between a stand bag and a cart bag.

Pros & Cons Of The Tour Edge Bazooka 370 Set

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

  • Ultra thin club faces mean more CG weight placement where it’s better served
  • The putter really does help improve accuracy for beginners
  • The steel shafted irons are lightweight
  • Available in both right and left-handed
  • The hybrid provides great distance
  • Overall, each club in the set is very easy to hit with
  • You can’t get +1” shaft lengths in left-handed
  • Some of the zippers on the stand bag get snagged very easily
  • It’s hard to get a decent amount of spin from some of the shorter irons
  • Some of the club heads bang into each other as the top divider of the bag doesn’t provide adequate space between club wells

Overall Score: 92/100

Other Club Set Considerations

Tour edge bazooka 360.

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

The older version of the Tour Edge Bazooka’s feature a lot of the same features like cavity-back irons, 460cc driver head and an anser-style putter. But this set is significantly more affordable now that the thinner-face 370’s are on the market.

  • Very affordable
  • Deep undercut irons
  • Low profile hybrid still gives great distance
  • Not very durable
  • Less face flex

Overall Score: 88/100

Callaway strata.

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

The Callaway strata has been on the radar for new players forever because it’s packed with helpful features and components like 2 hybrids and a full titanium driver, massive sweet spots and clubs you can rock with as you get a bit better too.

Plus the precision milled face of the putter allows for exceptional feel for a beginner’s putter.

  • Lightweight aluminum design
  • Available in multiple colors
  • Cavity back irons
  • No long irons
  • High long game spin on the driver

Overall Score: 96/100

Cobra xl speed.

tour edge bazooka 1 out wedge review

Available in regular or senior flex, the Cobra XL Speed set is a great choice for either beginner’s or intermediate players.

It features a low profile driver with great weight distribution on the rear of the head so you get enhanced distance consistently.

  • The whole set plays long
  • Graphite shaft woods
  • Perimeter weighting on the irons
  • Low greenside spin with the shorter irons
  • Again, you don’t get the longer 4 or 5 irons with this set

Overall Score: 98/100

Final assessment.

Overall the Bazooka 360 set are a quality set that will help any beginner to pick up the game and become a better player.

That being said, it is very hard to look past the quality and reliability of the Callaway Strata as the perfect set for beginners and that would be our recommendation for today.

If you are looking for a more premium set that will see you through to becoming a mid handicapper.
