LJ Travel Management is a temporary housing solutions company that specializes in short term rentals. Our ultimate goal is to ensure all of our guests experience a “Home Away From Home” atmosphere during their travel, whether they‘re only in town for a night, on a work assignment or taking a break from life to relax. 

About Our Property

This unit can accommodate a maximum of 5 guests. Kids under age 2 are not included in this count. 

It includes 1 King bed, 1 Double (Full) bed, and 1 Twin (Single) bed. A Queen size air mattress is available, if needed. Each room has a Smart TV, however, you have to log into your own accounts to use any of the streaming services. Basic cable through Direct TV is also provided.

Since this is a residential building, sound/noise does travel. Please be mindful of the permanent residents around you. Violations could result in immediate termination of the reservation, without a refund. No gatherings or loud noises outside of the unit hallway at any time.

QUIET HOURS are 10:00PM - 8:00AM

The Amenities

There are many on-site amenities, including a golf course, fitness gym, outdoor swimming pool with a sauna, bar/restaurant, and additional entertainment inside of the Clubhouse. 

We provide basic amenities inside of the unit for you to enjoy during stay, such as bed linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen essentials, board games, and many more.

A full size washer and dryer is located inside of the unit and is free for guests to use.

There is free, open parking for all guests. However, it can be challenging to find nearby parking during the evening and night hours. Please be prepared to park further away from the building in these cases.

Our nightly rates differ based on the season and demand. A cleaning fee is required for each stay and at least once per month for stays over 28 days. A refundable security deposit will also be charged for each stay but will be refunded if the house rules were followed and there are no damage to the property.

I found L&J through a referral from my eyebrow tech and I'm soooo thankful I did! I had just gotten a poodle mix puppy and was looking for a groomer. I was super nervous because I never owned dogs that required monthly grooms and I didn't know what to expect. Lindsey is awesome!! At our first visit she took time to introduce herself and her workspace to me and my puppy. I was worried my puppy wouldn't do well but halfway through the appointment I received a text that Penny was doing great and she would be ready for a full cut. Penny always looks and smells amazing after each visit. L&Js drop-off/pick-up system and pay by phone system makes everything even easier!

Just had out first appointment with L&J Grooming and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Lindsey and Justin were great! My dog loved them right away. We got the works and when I picked him up, he looked adorable. Fresh summer cut, trimmed nails and he smelled amazing! We will definitely be returning to L&J.

If you are looking for the perfect groomer for your dog (or cat!), then you can stop right now: Lindsay and Justin are it! My dog,Tobi, is terrified of baths and we had been unable to find a groomer that he trusted enough to touch him without triggering his fear-based aggression until Lindsay. I have been taking Tobi to see Lindsay ever since she was at A Cut Above in Castro Valley. I could tell that Lindsay was different because whenever we showed up, Tobi would run to Lindsay, tail-wagging, before he remembered he had to pretend to be scared to guilt trip me for taking him to get a bath. He literally has never done this with any groomer we've seen before. Lindsay is extremely empathetic and pays extreme attention to detail - there is a reason she is literally an award-winning groomer! She accommodates Tobi's back pain when grooming to ensure he is comfortable. Further, she pays attention to his body and will point out to me if there is a new bump or something she hasn't seen on Tobi before. I literally can't imagine ever taking Tobi anywhere else but here. Definitely make an appointment ~ could not recommend L&J Grooming Co more; you will not be disappointed!

Lindsey and Justin are absolutely amazing! We knew Lindsey from her previous grooming location and always told ourselves that we would follow Lindsey wherever she goes! Our dog Mina is pretty anxious and we can relax knowing that she's in great hands. They always know what we want, are accommodating, and has built a well established routine with our little one. 1000% recommend!

Minas progress in trusting us has come so far. Dare I say, she may even like us! Don’t let her know we let her secret out.

My Ollie and I are brand new to The L&J Grooming Company. Lindsay and Justin met and exceeded all of my expectations. Their grooming shop is professional and adorable, and Lindsay and Justin are awesome at their jobs. As a first time customer, I wasn't sure what to expect. Upon arrival I was greeted and given a tour of the shop. I talked to Lindsay extensively about my Ollie's past and history with groomers. She asked a lot of questions about how I wanted Ollie's cut and she delivered. I picked him up propmptly two hours later and he was looking ADORABLE! Lindsay gave me time after the appointment to go over how it had gone (excellent, woohoo!), how I liked the cut, and any adjustments we want to make going forward. I truly appreciated their time on the front and back end of the appointments. I'm used to a quick hand off / hand back and not getting to hear how Ollie behaved. I'm so excited to have found L&J Grooming and will be back as a VIP customer. :) PS. Their instagram account is also awesome and you can fill up on doggie cuteness!

This is our first time here today. We were looking for a specialized poodle groomer in a small salon setting and I am glad we found Lindsey & Justin. They are very friendly, honest and nice to work with but best of all Lindsey CAN groom standard poodles! She listens carefully to our request and did her magic. I am very particular with scissoring work and I can tell she really took her time to get it right. I am especially impressed that Lindsey is a master groomer and competed in Super Zoo. This usually means that they love their trade and are open to learning new skills and improving. We like them so much that we are now on their VIP scheduling. It's hard to find a groomer your dog adores and is excited to go to! Our mini goldendoodle has no fuss about going to the groomer and wiggles with excitement when we tell her we're going to see Lindsey! We very happily travel 45+ minutes (from the Peninsula) to Lindsey and Justin for the *unmatched* quality of work and care provided to our pup. Thank you Lindsey and Justin for caring for our dog as much as we do!

Our dog, Sunshine, is an anxious dog. We brought him home at the peak of the COVID pandemic and struggled to find a groomer who was caring and understanding of his needs. Then we met Lindsey and never turned back! We've been making the almost one-hour drive each way since 2021 (first in Castro Valley then followed her to her current location in Oakland) because she is THAT good, but also - she dotes on our pup sooo much and knows how to put him at ease. Sunshine comes home looking mighty dapper each and every time.

It was all fun and funfair as the 2024 edition of the Glo sponsored Ojude Oba festival was held in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, on Tuesday.

In the competition which was one of the key features of Globacom’s sponsorship of the festival, Egbe Bobasete Okunrin Omooba turned out as the best dressed age grade, while Egbe Bobagunte Okunrin Akile Ijebu and Egbe Bobamayegun Okunrin Asiwaju emerged first and second runners-up in the male category.

In the female category, E gbe Bobagunwa Obinrin Omooba came first with Egbe Bobagunwa Obinrin Asiwaju and Egbe Arobayo Obinrin Akile Ijebu emerging as runners-up, winning the same prizes as their male counterparts.

Earlier in his goodwill message, Globacom Chairman, Dr. Mike Adenuga, Jr ., stated that Ojude Oba and other age-long festivals in the country have huge potential to promote cultural diversification, national identity, harmony and unity. He also noted that the festivals could foster cultural exchange and showcase Nigeria’s rich heritage to the world.

Juneteenth in Philly 2024: Wawa Welcome America block party featuring Kid ‘n Play, much more

The City of Brotherly Love is joining the nationwide celebration of Juneteenth.

The holiday, celebrated annually on June 19th, commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States.

Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021 and while people celebrated the holiday long before it was made a federal one, there are even more events and celebrations now.

Here's a list of events where you can celebrate freedom and liberty on both the federal holiday and the days surrounding it in the Philadelphia area.

Juneteenth Block Party featuring Kid 'n Play at the African American Museum

📅 Wednesday, June 19

🕗 Noon to 7 p.m.

📍 701 Arch St.

The annual  Juneteenth  block party outside the  African American Museum in Philadelphia  that has become the kickoff showcase for Wawa Welcome America focuses on music this year with  Rhythms of Liberation: Juneteenth Block Party and Evening Conversation  that will feature hip-hop legends.

"There will be live musical entertainment, a vendor village, food trucks, interactive experiences, and activities for the whole family," according to festival organizers.

Kid ‘n Play  will be bringing their "House Party" outdoors to the stage hosted by  WURD Radio 's Tiffany Bacon and Andrea Lawful-Sanders. Rich Medina will spin tunes while  Seraiah Nicole  and  Suede Lace  also perform.

There will also be performances from  Dance4Life  and poetry from Philadelphia’s newly appointed  Poet Laureate Kai Davis .

Besides the fun on stage, there will be face-painting and mini sports for kids, food trucks and a vendor village "showcasing a curated selection of small Black-owned businesses," organizers said.

A Conversation on Black Leadership at the National Constitution Center

Political commentator and bestselling author Eddie Glaude Jr. is holding a discussion on his newest book "We Are The Leaders We Have Been Looking For." In this book, Glaude looks into the idea that ordinary people can accomplish many great things, like legends Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and Ella Baker.

Juneteenth celebration at Please Touch Museum

In celebration of Juneteenth, the Please Touch Museum is hosting an array of events. The day will feature special performances, activities, and workshops.

The scheduled of events include Black Urban Theater teaching African American history through movement and storytime with author Kim Taylor as she read her book "A Flag for Juneteenth."

Learn about the stories of people of African descent at the Museum of the American Revolution for this Juneteenth.

Juneteenth celebration at Eastern State Penitentiary

🕗 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

📍 2027 Fairmount Ave.

The Eastern State Penitentiary is hosting a full day of events to commemorate Juneteenth. To kick off the day, local storyteller Thembi Palmer with read children's stories centering on the history of Juneteenth and celebrating resistance.

Then the Black Breath Collective performs "Unshackled," a 45-minute original work. After, local scholars will discuss the history of Juneteenth, followed by another performance by the Black Breath Collective.

Johnson House Historic Site, a former stop along the Underground Railroad, is hosting its 18th Annual Juneteenth Festival.

You can expect African drumming, a Children’s Village, a cultural marketplace, historical re-enactments, exhibits, tours, resource information, even GOATS, and so much more.

Juneteenth Wine & Arts Festival at Cherry Street Pier

🕗 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

📍 121 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd.

Celebrate Black culture at the inaugural Juneteenth Wine & Arts Festival . This family-friendly event features wines from local Black-owned wineries, art exhibitions, live performances, craft vendors and more.

It's free to attend but wine tickets are $20 online and $30 at the door.

Forum Philly and Penn Museum host Juneteenth Celebration

🕗 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

📍 3260 South St.

A celebration of freedom at Penn Museum ahead of the official Juneteenth holiday. This all-day, family-friendly celebration will offer performances, pop-up exhibits and workshops.

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or portable chairs to sit in the garden to enjoy all the festivities. You are also going to want to save your appetite because various food trucks will be there during the event.

Juneteenth Parade and Festival

📅 Sunday, June 16

📍 Parade starts at 52nd and Parkside Ave.

📍 Festival will be at Malcolm X Park

Thousands are expected to attend the annual Juneteenth Parade and Festival in Philadelphia.

The parade kicks off at noon at 52nd and Parkside Avenue and proceeds to Malcolm X Park, where the main Juneteenth Festival will be taking place.

If you don't want to go to the parade, the festival portion of the event begins at 10 a.m. There will be community resources, local food vendors, youth activities, live music and dance groups.

If you want to attend here's some important information you need to know before you go:

What streets will be closed?

The following street will be closed beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 for the parade starting area:

• South Concourse Drive between Avenue of the Republic and Belmont Avenue

The following street will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 16 for the parade starting area:

• Avenue of the Republic between Belmont Avenue and States Drive 
• Wynnefield Avenue between Parkside Avenue and Belmont Avenue
• N. Georges Hill between Belmont Avenue and Avenue of the Republic

The following streets will be closed beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 16 until the conclusion of the parade:

• Parkside Avenue between 53rd Street and Belmont Avenue
• 52nd Street between Parkside Avenue and Cedar Avenue

The following streets will be closed starting at 6 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 16:

• 5000 - 5300 Pine Street
• 5000 - 5200 Larchwood Street
• 200 - 600 S. 52nd Street
• 400 S. 53rd Street
• 400 S. 51st Street
• 5200 Delancey Street

Where can't people park?

The above-listed streets will be posted as “Temporary No Parking” zones from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 16. Motorists must adhere to “Temporary No Parking” signs. Vehicles parked in these locations during posted hours will be relocated. If you believe your car has been relocated, call the police district of the area where your car was parked.

What SEPTA routes will be detoured?

SEPTA Bus Routes 40 and 42 will be detoured from their normal routes beginning at 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 16, through approximately 3 p.m.

SEPTA Bus Route 52 will be detoured from its normal route beginning at 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 16 through approximately 9 p.m.

Detours will be posted, and specific route changes are available on the System Status Page at septa.org .
