The 225-pound hitch weight and 14-inch wheels also help it to tow and track easily behind most vehicles. 

The interior of the Jayco Jay Sport is surprisingly spacious for a small popup camper. On paper, you can sleep up to four people. 

Though I think 5 to 6 is more realistic, which makes this small popup camper a great option for a medium-sized family that loves to travel light and lean. 

The kitchen inside the Jayco Jay Sport includes a two-burner propane stove, as well as a single basin sink, which is supported by the large 28-gallon freshwater storage tanks this camper comes equipped with n the standard package. 

There are one or two minor complaints about the Jayco Jay Sport. There is no air conditioner included n the standard package.

Though there s a toasty 16,000 BTU propane heater. There also isn’t any sort of formal bathroom or toilet.

However, there is a 6-gallon hot water heater to supply the sink for doing dishes or washing hands.

Some people might knock the 3-person sleeping capacity of the Coachmen Clipper Sport 860QS. 

Though it’s part of what helps it stay so lgth and nimble, while still being able to haul a ton of gear with the 1,365-pound payload capacity.

This ultimately gears the Coachmen Clipper Sport 860QS to on-the-road tradesmen or a couple that likes to camp with a lot of gear. 

3. Forest River Flagstaff 205 Folding Pop-Up Camper

While there isn’t an air conditioner installed in the 205’s standard package, it does come with air conditioner prewiring, which makes for an easy aftermarket install.

4. Livin’ Lite Quicksilver 8.0

The Livin’ Lite – Quicksilver 8.0 is a flyweight “Expandable” small popup camper that can be towed by sedans with a tow package, a mid-size SUV, or even a robust small SUV. 

The 124-pound hitch weight and a dry weight of just under 1,000-pounds make it very easy for a family to take this lightweight popup camper just about anywhere, with virtually any size vehicle. 

One of the things that really stands out with the Livin’ Lite – Quicksilver 8.0 is the fact that it comes with an 8,000 BTU air conditioner installed as part of the standard package.

This is something that’s even rare with some of its larger, more expensive competitors! Some models come with the prewriting to accommodate solar panels for times when you want to boondock and camp off the grid.

When fully expanded two flip-out beds and dinette areas can also be converted into a relatively large sleeping area.

On paper, the Livin’ Lite – Quicksilver 8.0 can sleep up to 6 people, but five would be more comfortable in the real world.

5. Opus Off-Road Air Pop-Up Camper

With a 2,870 dry weight the 2021 Opus Pop Up Camper does arguably push back on the term “Lightweight.” 

Though this small popup camper does only have a hitch weight of only 220 pounds, which keeps it in range for a mid-size SUV with a tow package.

The 2021 Opus Pop Up Camper really does pop up and pop out impressively.

Not only can it sleep up to 6 people n the real world, but this popup camper also maximizes the external space with a slide-out kitchen and refrigerator. 

On each end, you get pop-out double beds and the C shaped convertible dinette lounge area also provides a bed that is truly large enough to sleep, two people. 

You also have to appreciate the fact that it comes with a 40-gallon fresh water storage tank.

This means it can support you comfortably when camping off the grid for several days at a time.

Though you still should slide the fridge and kitchen sections inside f you are going to be away from the camper for more than an hour or two and there’s any rain in the forecast. 

6. ALiner Expedition A-Frame Camper

At first glance, the AC BTU rating might seem a little low compared to other popup campers that tend to have 8,000 BTU AC systems.

Why aren’t small, basic tent trailers available anymore? You used to have two choices. Hard top and soft top. Inside they were just a utility trailer-sized empty box to stand it, with a bed either side. That’s it. No built-ins, no seating (except on the edge of the bed), no sinks, stoves, etc. Just basically a tent on a raised base.

That’s all I want. Just a tent, but not on the ground, so that I don’t have to crawl on my knees (knees don’t work anymore). Why isn’t there a basic no-frills model available anymore. Why has everything gone so fancy and expensive?

My sentiments exactly! A tent off the ground! That’s all we need. Is there such a thing?

I second that! My only concern is, and the reason GOD created me for this era, is that I need A/C. I need a super light-weight camper with fridge and microwave to save as much money as possible to put towards our gas costs that are so insanely expensive now. Any recommendations? I’m surprised the smaller Livin Lite Quicksilver 6.0 was not mentioned. It’s pretty much a “dry” pop-up with no water tanks. Also, the Sylvan Sport Go should be at the top of this list making it the lightest pop-up out there. It may not come with all the bells and whistles, but for those who actually enjoy the simplicity of camping without having to sleep on the ground, the Sylvan Sport Go would be my choice.

The Forest River RP-190 indeed pops up as one of the best small travel trailers with a slide out that’s not only convenient but also very comfortable for living as well as camping.

At only 20.4-inches long from hitch to pumper, it may look compact but once you get inside, you will appreciate the spacious layout it has especially with the slide-out opened up.

There is a hanging closet with three pull-out drawers just besides the refregerator and next to the bed that give you plenty of storage space for your clothes.

This unit also features a nice bathroom area with foot-lush toilet and an ABS tub surround with shower curtain that comes around. Inside the bathroom are storage cabinets, medicine cabinet and sink with hot and cold water.

Is that all? Well, not quite so. This unit offers plenty of extra storage space along the exterior part both in front and the back to accommodate all the necessary camping items you may want to bring along.

Furthermore, with independent suspension and axle risers for extra ground clearance, this trailer can go just about anywhere with less bouncing and hoping that often destroys most other trailers.

Generally, for anyone looking for a simple yet comfortable and convenient small travel trailer with slide out that’s capable of giving you that at-home feel without much fuss, then this R-pod 190 by Forest River is an ideal choice.

2. Lance 1575 Travel Trailer

Although they are commonly known for truck campers, Lance has an impressive selection of small travel trailers with side out and their 1575 model certainly doesn’t disappoint either.

It’s an incredibly high quality travel trailer that’s built to make companing trips or Rving much easier through a compact yet very comfortable design. On top of that, it comes loaded with several nice features.

Like most small-sized travel trailers, the exterior of this Lance 1575 model looks quite compact but when you get inside with the slide open, it’s spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a small family of four.

The slide-out consists of a u-shaped booth dinette with a nice big table. The seat has big cushions that are just firm enough to make the dinette very comfortable to sit on. You can even convert into a bed or sleeping space.

One of my best thing in owning a travel trailer is that you are able to prepare those amazing and healthy, home cooked meals whenever you want wherever you are. That only happens when you have a trailer with a great floorplan and all the necessary appliances.

The Lance 1575 offers just that. It has an innovative design that gives you a full kitchen with all the amenities and essential appliances needed plus enough functional space to move around and make your meals.

It even comes with 3-burner stove with oven when most other trailers only have a microwave and drawer. There’s a cabinet kitchen storage above the sink.

The bathroom is a tight space but offers complete privacy. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a sink. It would have been awesome to have a nice mirror there.

Now the most important part of any camping or Rving experience is sleep and you can’t have an enjoyable vacation without a good night’s rest.

This Lance travel trailer features a comfortable queen size bed that allows you to sleep soundly through the night. Next to the bed is a closet area with a section for handing things and more storage below it for clothes.

You will get to also enjoy watching your favorite shows and movies right from your bed with the built in television mounted up on the feet-side of the bed. It can swivel to give you a perfect view from anywhere.

If you are looking for a lot of storage space, you will really be impressed with what the 1575 offers. Under the bed is a spacious storage area with a large slide tray that’s accessible from outside on either sides.

Under the dinette is more storage space also accessible from outside. A door on either end of the dinette and another long bottom door under the dinette in the inside provide more storage space that can serve as ‘linen’ area or ‘food’ pantry.

If you are looking for a nice, comfy trailer for a romatic camping trip for two, this is a great option. It’s also ideal if you have a small family preferably a family of four.

3. KZ Escape Mini Travel Trailer

The KZ Escape Mini is a travel trailer that combines comfort and functionality into a single unit. It has a basic floor plan and design but it’s a  very functional small travel trailer with a slide out.

The unit utilizes a gear driven slide out that consists of a roomy dinette. It’s quite spacious with a sizable tabletop and can transform easily into a restful sleep spot.

Cooking has been made easy with this KZ Escap Mini model as the kitchen area comes equipped with a two-burner stove, a convection microwave, a refrigerator and a deep single sink which is large enough for pan, pots or pitchers.

As far as kitchen amenitities are concerned, this trailer got you well covered. There’s even an overhead cabinet for storing several items plus the floothplan also feature a pantry.  

The sleeping area consists of a comfortable queen size bed with storage overhead. It’s a nice comfortable private space for resting after long day of adventure.

I also liked the bathroom of this unit and I’m sure you will like it too. It looks compact with a simple design but it has a foot-flush toilet, a tub-shower area, a vanit with sink and a counter space with storage below… holy cow! Ain’t that a complete bathroom you got there? What more can you ask?

The awning is another part that really stood out for me.  It’s a high tech awning with an LED lighting system on it that makes it very easy to have relaxing outdoor gatherings during the night.

Even much better, it has motion sensors such that when animal or somebody walks in, they turn on the light. It’s a nice addition that goes along way to enhance your security in the night.

4. Jayco Hummingbird

For a fun and easy Rving or camping experience, Jayco Hummingbird travel trailer with slide out is an option I find really worth checking out.

 It’s an ultra light travel trailer with a convenient but space-consientious design that allows you to quickly and easily adjust to the camp site no matter where you land.

One thing that stand out the most about this Jayco Hummingbird is that it has the largest slid out compared to its competitors.

It’s actually a dinette-refrigerator-microwave combo with the fridge and the microwave sitting next to the kitchen. In other words, it provides more utility and functionality than most other slide outs.

The kitchen on the rear is very spacious with enough room to move around. It’s a full kitchen with two-burner stove, sink , cooktop and the refrigerator and microwave next to it.

There cabinets with tripple pull-out drawers and other extra little outlets for appliances. On top that, you also get a pretty respectable pantry just opposite the dinette.

This Jayco trailer can accommodate three to four peope if close quarters isn’t a big deal. There is a queen-sized bed  that accommodate two people while the dinette has a free-floating table that can fold down to form a sleeping area where one or two people can rest.

The bathroom however is on the small side. It’s a wet bath, a combination of toilet, shower and sink. It’s pretty minimalist with no cabinets but you have a hot and cold outside shower.

The Hummingbird is really generous when it comes to storage. There’s a good, front storage space that’s accessible from the outside and more storage options under the dinette.

Inside the trailer, there are full overhead cabinets just above the dinette and more storage space on both ends of the dinette. In addition, you also get a closet and dresser storage with three pull-out drawers just beside the bed.

Generally, the Jayco Hummingbird is built to offer nothing but fun and simplicity as far as camping and Rving are concerned. If you don’t want a trailer with too much bells and whistle, then this is a great option to consider.  

5. Palomini 182SK Travel Trailer

While it has all the standard features and everything you may need to feel comfortable when on the road, the Palomini 182Sk offers a new kind of travel trailer experience that’s rather impressive. 

The first part that grabs your attention as soon as you get into the trailer is the spacious full-functional kitchen. It’s a slide out kitchen with a thoughtful layout that really takes into account how easy it is to move around in such a space.

It’s quite roomy and features all the necessary appliances to make cooking a delightful experience. It has a two-burner cooktop, microwave, sink and an RV fridge-freezer combo. There are also overhead cabinets above the sink for storage.

Next to the kitchen you have a simple booth dinette that accommodate around four people. It’s a simple, cozy space for taking your meals. Palomini has added more overhead cabinets in the dinette area, so bravo, you have more storage room for your items.

A huge difference in the floorplan of this Palomini trailer compared to the rest is the sleeping area. Instead of the usual east-west bed design, this one features a north-south queen bed.

The best part about this design is that you can walk around the bed as opposed to crawling over it all the time which is what happens with most trailer trailers in the market.

Furthermore, you have lots of overhead storage too with wardrobes just above the bed and right at the entrance of the door you got a cool closet with a few shelves.

It’s hard to find a closet section nowadays in most trailers, so it’s a good thing that the Palomini 182Sk features on.

The bathroom seemed to be a bit compact but, Oh gadzooks! I was surprised to find out that it had every essential thing you would want in a bathroom.

From the toilet, to the spacious shower, to the ample storage, it’s a full bathroom with also a sink and medicine cabinet included.

Finally, in addition to numerous storage options inside, the unit offers a decent storage space outside. There’s a pass through storage at the front that goes all the way fron one side to the other. It offers a sufficient space for your gear and other camping items.

This is certainly a good match for those looking for something different from the usual travel trailer floorplan. It offers great comfort.

6. Rockwood Geo Pro 19 FBS Travel Trailer

Combining  modern amenities with the standard camping necessities and all the conveniences of home into one environmentally friendly unit, the Rockwood Geo Pro 19FBS is a fun way to enjoy camping while supporting the environment in the process.

This eco friendly, modern trailer features a fairly-sized slideout that holds the dinitte which consists of a large couch with cupholders on either sides and a removable dining table that you can also hide behind the couch.

With the table out of the way, you have a huge floor space between the couch and the kitchen, enough space for people to move around which is a big plus.

Talking of the kitchen, it’s a well-designed full kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals just like when you at home. It has a 3 burner recessed cooktop with glass cover, a sink, and a microwave oven and a refrigerator just next to the door.

So, it’s a full packed kitchen with even overhead storage cabinrts above the cooktop and more below it with several drawers.

You will enjoy a good night sleep during those chilly nights as the unit comes with a comfortable RV quuen bed. It’s not as long as the traditional queen bed back at home but it’s pretty close.

To the left of the kitchen is a nice entertainment area with an LED TV which can give you a nice view from anywhere. Below the TV is a good-sized wardrobe cabinet, so you have a place where you can hang and store your clothes and all kinds of stuff.

Another area that I think was superbly designed is the bathroom. It’s a drybath complete with all the essenntials. It has a toilet, fairly-spacious shower stall, a sink and towel rack. In addition, it’s equipped with a medicine cabinet and more storage down below the sink.

One of the coolest thing though about this trailer is that it’s equipped with a flexible solar panel system mounted on the roof. You won’t experience power outtages a lot as it can power almost all the devices in the trailer including the lights.

You also got more storage options aside from the ones inside the unit. Towards the end of the trailer is enormous basement storage that’s underneath the bed. It goes all the away across the front of the trailer and can hold a lot of stuffs.

There are additional shelf storage space above the bed and three more cabinet storages above the couch with big long shelves. Therefore as far as, functionality, space and comfort are concerned, the Rockwood Geo Pro 19FBS got you well covered.

7. Keystone RV Passport 2400BH Ultra-Lite

The Keystone RV Passport ultra-lite is a trailer designed for families that love to go for camping trips. It’s designed to maximize efficiency yet still maintaining all of the conveniences of an RV but with more comfort, style, and more technology.

It’s a travel trailer that works great for families with kids and has everything you would need to feel like you are right at home.

The slide out of the unit houses the dinette which consists of a large, oversized, u-shaped booth and table that can break down into additional accomodations.

Just opposite the dinette is a very spacious full kitchen area. This is one of the largest kitchen I’ve seen in a travel trailer and, oh dear, it’s so impressive. Keystone has also included a nice, oversized pantry next to the dinette for storage of your food stuffs. So, as far as kitchen storage is concerned, this unit has sufficient space to store enough food for the entire familiy.

The best part is that it even comes with an outside camp kitchen featuring a refrigerator, a sink and two-burner range with fold out counter tops.

That’s a great additional feature that takes your camping experience to a whole another level and it’s something you would only find in very few trailers.

Just next to the door entrance is a spacious bedroom area with a sliding door. This is one of the little details that makes this camper a great choice for families as it gives you complete privacy.  There’s a queen-sized bed inside that has a large wardrobe with mirrored fronts on either sides.

Like the Palomini 182K trailer above, the bed of this Keystone trailer is positioned north to south hence you can walk on either sides and access the wardrobes. There are also losts of storage underneath the bed as well as above it.

Finally, the bathroom. This one too is an equally spacious room. It offers a bit more floor space than the bathrooms of most other trailers and comes with all the bathroom essentials.  

It comes complete with a foot flushable commode, a large corner shower with a bathtub, a single basin sink, a nbice-sized vanity with storage underneath and a medicine cabinet with a mirror. It’s a full packaged bathroom.

One additional thing that can’t go unmentioned is that this trailer features an extra room or rather, oversized bunks with storage underneath. It’s a rare feature but one that I am sure you will appreciate especially if you go camping with family most of the time.

Having a good small travel trailer with slide out is an ideal way to ensure a fun and comfortable camping adventure deep in the forest or national parks.

We all need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day grind every once in a while. And while roughing it in a tent can be part of the adventure, some of us (me included) prefer to have a few creature comforts on hand.

Recreation vehicles are a great way of finding this balance. RVs cover a huge expanse of options, from luxury offerings like the Bowlus Terra Firma , to travel trailers, and even converted transport vans. But, these can often cost more than what many of us are willing or able to spend. 

That’s where pop up campers come in! They offer a bunch of the same home comforts as the higher-end options at a much lower price. And it’s not just the dollar amount that has these at the top of my personal RV list! 

Pop-ups are usually lighter and smaller than many of the other trailer options (as little as 800ish pounds all the way up to 3,500 pounds for large pop-up campers, with an average weight of around 1700 pounds. The average length of a camper is anywhere between 8 and 16 feet, with that size usually doubling once folded out) meaning they can be hauled by a larger range of vehicles and are much easier to maneuver.

But what exactly is a pop up camper you ask?

Are there any obvious downsides to a pop up camper when compared to other rv options, how much weight can your vehicle tow, how many people does it comfortably sleep, how much storage space does the camper offer, what features and amenities are important to you, what to inspect on a pop up camper before you buy, the wrap up.

To put in the most simple terms, a pop up camper is a compact towable living area that packs down to about half their usable size for ease of transport and usually comes with expandable hard or canvas walls. 

They can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 8 people and usually cost anywhere from $10,000 to $30,000, depending on which size you decide on.

Sure, with the cost being much lower you cannot reasonably expect to have all the bells and whistles of higher-priced recreational vehicles.

Usually, the space will be tighter with fewer rooms, less privacy, and less storage space. Many do not come with an inbuilt toilet or shower (although you can of course get a pop up with bathroom facilities). Some do not come with cooling or heating, they are usually less insulated from the weather, and there is the set up and pack away time to take into consideration

Is the Coachmen Clipper LS 806XLS the most stylish pop up camper? No, not in my view and probably not yours either (unless you are a fan of hospitals maybe). 

But you know what it IS? One of the most functional units available right now, and it comes at an awesome price!

One of the ways Coachmen has saved money is by eliminating a bathroom setup, but I do not actually hate this design decision. Sure, it’s nice to have a hot shower every now and then, but this also adds a bunch of space for other options.  

If you take a quick look at the floor plan you’ll see the 2 opposing gaucho benches which take the place of a more conventional dinette. I love this for 2 reasons – first it offers more versatility when hanging out inside the camper, and offers more sleeping space.

What To Look For When Buying A New or Used Pop Up Camper

There are a whole range of factors that you should take into consideration when deciding on which pop up camper will best suit you and your family’s needs. Let’s quickly run through them and go over the basics.

This is the very first question you should ask yourself. There’s no use buying a beautiful new pop up that can accommodate everyone in your family, only to find that it’s destined to become a driveway ornament until you also buy a new car!

Most pop up campers weigh in at anywhere between 1,000 to 3,000 lbs, and that’s not including any of the things you may want to stow away inside for a trip.

A good rule of thumb is to add 500 or so pounds for your extra gear, and another 500 pounds on top just to be on the safe side. NEVER EXCEED YOUR VEHICLE’S TOWING CAPACITY.

I have a pretty small family (just me, my wife, and our 4-year-old) so a camper that sleeps 2 to 3 is usually fine for us, for now at least. 

But, say you have more than a couple of little ones? What are you supposed to do then? 

I would suggest bringing along a few tents for the older kids to sleep in, which is exactly what my friend with a large family does. 

The kids love it, and it gives the whole family a bit of much-needed privacy.

The dry weight of a small pop-up camper usually falls between 1,000 and 2,500 pounds, depending on its design, size, and features.   

However, it’s important to keep in mind that the dry weight of a pop-up is not the best indicator of its true weight , as this only indicates how much it weighs from the manufacturer with nothing in it.

To get a better idea of the true weight of a small pop-up camper, you need to account for the additional weight loaded into the pop-up from camping gear and supplies, by adding at least 500 pounds to its dry weight .

What is the Smallest Pop-Up Camper?

Pros and Cons of a Pop-up Camper with Slide-outs

As with any camper that has a slide, pop-up campers with slide-outs have more moving parts and, therefore, the potential for additional maintenance. Slide-outs also make any camper heavier. In a pop-up, the additional canvas seams found in the slide-out also present more of a risk for leaks.

But despite these drawbacks, pop-up campers with slide-outs have the benefit of extra space. When the slide is pulled out, the usable floor space in the pop-up camper is nearly doubled! This can be a great choice for RV beginners who desire the space of a larger travel trailer, without the more significant price tag.

Is a Pop-up Camper with Slide-outs Easy to Set Up?

Pop-up campers with slide-outs are very easy to set up. Simply unlock the slide using the external latches, and pull it out just like any drawer. There are usually even handles to make this whole process easier. With drawer-like slides and power, roof lifts, modern-day pop-ups are ready to camp in a jiffy. 

Our very first camper was a Coleman Utah, which has a large slide-out dinette and a manual roof. I was able to efficiently set that camper up, by myself, in under fifteen minutes. Of course, leveling the camper solo requires a little more time. Still, do not be intimidated by the setup process; even pop-up campers with slide-outs are very easy to operate.

What Is the Smallest Camper with a Slideout? 

The Flagstaff Tent 228D is the shortest, and the lightest pop-up camper with a slide-out on our list. This camper has a closed length of just over 16 ft, which is nearly three feet less than most other campers we presented. 

Not only that, but the Flagstaff Tent’s GVWR is only 3,263 pounds. This lightweight camper is especially easy to tow. While you may find pop-up campers that are smaller than the Flagstaff Tent, you’d be hard-pressed to find any that boast the extra square footage of a slide-out.

Are Pop-up Campers Reliable? 

You might be wondering about the reliability of a pop-up camper. Fear not, pop-up campers, when maintained properly, are very dependable. 

The sturdy canvas sides are perfectly capable of keeping wind and rain out. (Of course, if a seek shelter weather advisory is issued, you’ll need to evacuate to the campground’s storm shelter. Even hard-side campers can’t withstand the likes of a tornado.)

You’ll be surprised just how warm and cozy you can stay inside your pop-up camper, even with a thunderstorm raging outside. You might even enjoy the sound of raindrops on the canvas even more than you did tent camping. In a pop-up, you don’t have to worry about waking up in a puddle.

Is It Worth Buying a Pop-up Camper With Slideouts?

Just like any camper feature, there are pros and cons to a slide-out. Slides, by nature, have more moving parts. This could mean more maintenance and repairs down the road. Additionally, a slide-out adds weight to the camper, which you must consider when choosing an adequate tow vehicle.

Inside, you’ll find a convertible sofa, entertainment center, and sleeping area with queen-sized bed. We’re especially fond of the outdoor speaker, which makes it possible to jam out to tunes while you’re chilling in the great outdoors.

A slide out does give you that extra space but it dramatically increases the weight of the RV. Though it may seem like a compact package, the weight is equivalent to a longer RV. The ones we showcase here are all 15 feet in length and under!

Because these tiny trailers are so easy to manage, they are a popular weekend type of camper.

But which are short enough for you to tow? And which are the best for your needs? And how do you figure out what's out there?

You've found the right page because we've narrowed down that list here, so you don't have to do much research- just choose the one of these 6 that works best for you.

Why would we know what's good? We have a combined 14 years of RVing experience, and five years of educating others about what to look for and how to RV .

We've been around the block a few times!

So let's look at the best mini pop-up campers that we found and get you into one ASAP.

The Six Best Tiny Pop-Up Campers

We've rounded up the smallest of the small pop-up campers and found an excellent variety for you to consider.

From a literal 'bones' unit with just a tent surrounding it that can also carry your adventure gear to an A-frame with zero soft sides, you're bound to see something here that fits your bill.

Bonus- with a tiny, lightweight pop-up camper, you might even be able to tow it with your existing small truck, SUV, or car!

Here they are from shortest to longest pop up RV .

1. Turtleback Getaway

Cost: Starting at $18,995

Sleeps: It's a rooftop tent- you decide!

Length: 11 feet 6 inches

Weight: 1160 pounds

So though this little camper is VERY well-made and amazing for camping, it is not for everyone.

This small tent trailer is a pop-up tent with important amenities of living underneath it.

But it's high-tech for a little amenities trailer!

It sports all utilities except for an (inside) shower and toilet.

Incredibly, it has a large freshwater tank for its size: 21 gallons! For comparison, that's how big my tank is in my 24 foot travel trailer.

If you want even MORE water capacity, get their Expedition model, which comes with a 42-gallon water tank.

The Turtleback Getaway only weighs 1,160 pounds, light enough for almost any vehicle to tow.

Though it comes with a great big awning (optional), especially out west, there are times when you can't use an awning because of the wind.

When that's the case, you won't have an area where it's comfy to hang out around the fire, or anywhere for that matter.

Unless you want to go hang out inside the tent area. But you won't be standing, and there are no seats in there.

Additionally, if it's raining and windy, you can't access your stove/kitchen area or anywhere else without getting wet.

These are things to keep in mind.

It's not a traditional travel trailer , and the comfort is lacking for the convenience of how small and well-equipped this product is. But it's definitely a tiny pop up tent trailer.

It comes with a sink, stove, water tank, storage drawers, 12-volt socket and USB ports, tabletops, water pump, propane tank, deep cycle battery, and lights.

Of course, you can get the tent put up top as well, and they offer different sizes depending on how many you need to sleep.

Upgrades include an inverter, refrigerator, solar, and more.

What this compact pop-up camper does NOT have:

• BTU furnace
• Air conditioning
• Hot water heater
• Lots of storage

If you don't mind not having an inside area to lounge around in besides just a tent, and don't mind possibly even not having an outside place to chill if it's windy or rainy, then this is a fair-weather dream if you love tent camping.

This lightweight tent trailer gives you easier access to amenities such as a stove, refrigerator, power, and running water.

You can go just about anywhere with this small and rugged pop-up tent trailer!

2. Sylvansport Go

Cost: Starts at $10,995

Sleeps: Up to 4

Length: 11 feet 10 inches

Weight: 840 pounds

This is the most basic one on our list. It's essentially a tent on wheels. Watch the video and you'll see what we mean!

Though this is also a tent on steroids, this small pop up tent trailer is a little more 'luxurious' than the Turtleback Trailer in that it has an interior place to sit and dine.

But that's where the luxury ends.

This pop-up has zero creature comforts inside besides beds and a dinette.

There's no sink, stove, power, nothing. It's a fancy hard-top tent, built on the frame of a pop up.

Still, it's about the most unique tiny pop-up camper or tent that we have ever seen.

Look how unique this thing is!

LOOK AT THAT!!! Crazy invention, but cool and perfect for just the right camping type.

Because it's not a hard-sided trailer, there's no sound privacy. People will hear you from the outside, and you'll hear every little noise coming from the outside.

And again- this is more tent camping than RVing, but it might be just right for you.

The most significant benefit of this is that it can carry your toys!

It'll carry coolers, bikes, kayaks, a quad, whatever you can fit, to use once you reach your destination.

It also has a little storage bin on the front of it.

So this one has the least amenities, but is the most simple, the lightest, and the least likely to have any mechanical issues, and you can probably bring the most (things you couldn't otherwise) with it.

What this pop-up does NOT have:

• It has NOTHING but a tent. Zero mechanical, zero appliances, no battery. I t just has two beds, a storage box, and a table with an outside screen area.

This is the least luxurious as far as included features. But you can BRING more toys with you than with any others on the list.

Not much can break mechanically, and it's the lightest pop up camper on the list.

If you like tent camping but want to be off the ground and have an inside dinette, this is perfect.

3. Taxa Outdoors Tiger Moth

Cost: Starts at about $23,000

Sleeps: 2, 5 with optional tent

Length: 12 feet 10 inches

Weight: 1,310 pounds

Now we've moved up into small pop up trailers that have hard sides (no canvas) as well as inside space PLUS interior features.

The longer they get, the more stuff a manufacturer can fit, naturally.

Though you cannot stand up inside this one, there's a cafe table inside with sitting areas.

If you DO want to stand up, they also sell the Cricket , which is 15 feet long and has an inside kitchen and could sleep two kids.

The Taxa Tiger Moth also provides kitchen amenities, but it's only accessible from the outside.

So again, if it's raining or even windy/dusty, it's not so great.

This trailer has a water tank, but it's gravity-fed. It does not have an electric fresh water RV pump (totally fine).

It's a portable water tank that mounts on the outside of the trailer.

The 'kitchen' is housed inside a long pull-out drawer on the back of the unit.

It has a portable sink, portable stove, cutting board, and two large storage cubbies for food.

This lightweight pop up camper does NOT have a refrigerator.

If you need one, you can bring your own portable refrigerator or cooler and keep it inside your tow vehicle.

It sports all-terrain tires for camping in those off-roading areas.

This is a small pop up camper that you can easily fit in a garage (it's only 7 feet 1 inches tall with the awning, and shorter without it).

The only 'pop-up' part of the thing is a sidewall 'door' that pops out making the inside feel a lot bigger.

You can get an awning and an air conditioning unit as an option, but there's no furnace available.

Or, if you consider a pop-up tent to be part of the popping up, you can get their tent to mount up top for additional sleeping quarters.

We think this is a pretty neat setup for anyone who doesn't mind not being able to stand up inside, wants a hard-sided camper, and doesn't mind the outside kitchen.

What this pop up does NOT have:

• Inside kitchen
• Stereo system

This is a compact, hard-sided camper with almost all the amenities of a home.

Though you cannot stand inside it, it offers most amenities that a regular travel trailer has (no bathroom, of course) and will make for a comfortable, happy camping trip.

It has a bed and dinette area and an outdoor kitchen setup. This one even has an air conditioner option.

4. Aliner Scout Lite

Cost: Starts at $15,000

Sleeps: Up to 3

Length: 13 feet

Weight: 1,180 pounds

This A-frame pop-up camping trailer ( triangle camper ) is quick and easy to set up.

It is a hardside pop up camper with few amenities inside- just a sink and an optional air conditioning unit.

So there's not much to it, but we included it as it's only 13 feet long, it's a decent brand, and it just might suit your needs.

If you want kitchen amenities, even a full bathroom, you can get the LXE model ( below ), but it's 2 feet longer at 15 feet.

The dry weight of the Aliner Scout Lite is just 1190 pounds, and it also easily fits inside of a garage for storage.

It has plenty of headroom and sleeps probably three max.

This makes the Scout Lite a hard-sided tent with a sink that you can set up quickly.

• Any kitchen appliances except a sink
• Air conditioning (optional)
• Pretty much ONLY appliance is a sink

This is a good hard-sided tent with a sink, basically. It's still short at 13 feet, light, and fits into a garage, but amenities are limited.

If you like A-frame pop-ups but want more appliances/amenities, go for the LXE ( below ).

If you want to keep it very simple, this camper makes a great and safe camping portal.

5. Coachmen Viking/ Clipper Express 9.0

Cost: Starts at $12,000

Length: 14 feet 2 inches

Weight: 1,418 pounds

The Viking Express is a combination of hard-sided and tent canvas pop-up.

(FYI- They also offer the Clipper Express- it's the same exact trailer with different graphics and interior fabric and/or color being the only differences.)

It's like a tiny hard-sided tent on wheels that has the option of a little screened-in room off the back.

It's one of the smallest pop up campers around that HAS A (portable) TOILET, hallelujah!

It's an option (and you could surely buy one separately), but the exciting thing is that there's room inside for it.

It comes with a bed, furnace, sink, countertop, patio light, an 11-gallon freshwater tank, water heater, Bluetooth stereo, refrigerator/freezer, and an RV PORTA POTTY !

Options include an air conditioner, grill, bike rack, and cargo security system.

The closed height is only 6 feet 5 inches, so it will easily fit in the garage.

All in all, we like this setup. We appreciate that it's pretty simple to open up.

We like that it comes with an add-a-room standard. It extends the living space and keeps the skeeters out.

(You can stand inside, but only near the entrance.)

This is the first camper on the list that has a toilet option, or at least has dedicated room for a toilet to fit, right under the bed.

It's the most complete as far as amenities go seeing as how it comes with a furnace and has the option to include an air conditioner. We love that it comes with a little screened-in area.

Otherwise, this 2-sleeper recreational vehicle should keep you happy camping wherever you go- and you can go many places with such a small popup camper!

6. Aliner LXE

Cost: Starts at about $25,000

Length: 15 feet

Weight: 1795 pounds

The good ol' hard-sided A-frame Aliner made it on our list again!

The difference between this small pop up camper and the one above ( Scout Lite ) is two feet and ALL the basic amenities one has in a home.

The LXE is as complete of a travel trailer as we found for such a small one making it the best small pop up camper on this list for having the most amenities.

It comes complete with a shower, cassette toilet , microwave, furnace, AC, water heater, water pump, 11-gallon freshwater tank, and the other usual things such as a sofa bed, couch, etc.

The Aliner LXE is also the only one on the list with an indoor stove (besides the briefly mentioned Cricket).

It's the most expensive on the list, but what should one expect? You get what you pay for.

It has more appliances than any others and is the most 'luxurious' of any.

Additionally, it's the heaviest one on our list at 1795 pounds, but it's still considered a light pop up camper, considering that most travel trailers weigh 3,000+ pounds.

Yes, there's a little setup involved, but it's effortless.

All in all, as one of the best pop-up campers you can get that fit inside a garage and have all the amenities of home, you can't beat the Aliner LXE.

Like most on this list, there's no grey tank!!

You'll have to connect a garden hose and set it out to where you want the liquid to go or set out a bucket to catch the greywater. Alternatively, you can always bring along a portable gray water tank .

Also, there's no awning or outdoor screened-in area on this one, so that's something to keep in mind.

Sure, you could buy an outdoor screened tent if you'd like. It just won't be connected to the LXE.

This is the most expensive but also the most feature-filled pop up on our list!

It is the only one sporting a wet bath and also a microwave.

This is your true home away from home and is less like camping than the others.

It's a great pop up that is short, light, fully loaded and gets you off the beaten path with the most luxuries.

Do Small Popup Campers Have Toilets?

Yes, some small popup campers come equipped with toilets.

There are only two on our list that has one or has room for one. There are other popups that are longer than also do have toilets (and showers) installed.

If you want a bathroom, you simply have to search for the ones that have one.

Do Small Pop-Up Campers Have Heaters And Air Conditioning?

Some small pop up campers have heat and air conditioning while others do not.

Usually AC comes as an option, but not in all units.

Therefore, while searching, you must check each individual recreational vehicle (unless buying new/custom) to see what they do and don't have.

Can I Tow A Popup Camper With A Car?

There are certainly some cars that have a decent tow capacity and can pull a popup.

SUV's and small trucks are generally better suited to tow than cars, though the smallest pop up camper can be towed by just about any vehicle.

But yes, you'll have to check the weight of the popup you're interested in and then check the tow capacity of your car to see if it's compatible.

Remember to NEVER push your towing capacity to 100%.

You'll need to stay under about 80% to stay safe and reduce wear and tear on your vehicle.

What Are The Features And Amenities?

Some pop up trailers have zero to very few amenities, while others have pretty much everything you want as far as the comforts of home.

The more features and appliances it has, the more expensive it will be.

This also often pushes the size of the camper, and the larger it is, the more can fit inside.

On our list, the one with the MOST amenities is the Aliner LXE .

The one with the LEAST amenities happens to be the Aliner Scout Lite , with only a sink.

If you're looking for short, 15 feet or under light pop up trailers, you're in the right place.

We featured the most basic, the shortest, and the most well-equipped so you have a variety of choices.

It's up to you to decide what 'must-haves' are on your list, such as having an inside area or not, being able to stand up inside or not, having an indoor stove or outdoor stove, etc.

It's also essential to make sure you are comfortable with the floor plan.

Floorplans vary wildly, and you should be pleased with the one you pick.

But ultra lightweight pop up campers are great because you can fit them in your garage, are easy to tow, and they fit just about anywhere.

Sever years ago I saw a pop camper the was simply pulled out was 2 beds and a table and that was it. Di you know were I could find one? It closed down to just a small square. Thank you for your assistance.

• Find out the Gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR)  of your vehicle. This represents the maximum weight your tow vehicle can carry, including passengers, cargo, fuel and the vehicle itself.*
• Get the dry weight of the trailer, without gear. Add about 500 pounds of camping gear to that number.
• Then get your vehicle’s Gross combined weight rating (GCWR) . This represents the maximum weight of your loaded tow vehicle and your loaded trailer combined. If the GVWR and the trailer weight exceeds that number, look for a smaller trailer.
• Appliances. Now ask yourself, what pop-up tent trailer appliances do you feel are necessary? Can you live without an on-board bathroom? Is a furnace and air conditioning critical for your comfort?
• Suspension . If you love going off-the-beaten-path, look for pop-up tent trailers with beefy suspension that can take you to those places. Not all models can do that.

OK, this 10.5-foot French trailer won’t be rolling down our streets in the near future—the brand is available throughout Europe but hasn’t made it stateside yet. But that doesn’t mean we’re not still dreaming about the Carapate (and Googling “how much does it cost to ship a camper from Europe to the United States?”). With its blue-and-wood exterior, large windows, and rear-mounted spare tire, the 65-square-foot “mini caravan” has serious old-school vibes—think midcentury woodie station wagon or a vintage sailing yacht.

The floor of the trailer is covered with a modular, removable mattress, which you can rearrange into a couch or pull out for sunset picnics. Walls are lined with pouches, cubbies, and shelves. The kitchen sits in a drawer, so you can use it inside the trailer or pull it out to form an outdoor kitchen. However, we’re still holding a candle for the original , a 14-foot towable trailer for outdoorsy people who don’t believe that rugged and elegant have to be mutually exclusive. It’s built for the outdoors, with a 100-amp-hour deep cell marine battery (a reliable, long-running battery), 11-gallon water tank under the main cabin, and insulated walls and ceiling. But the interior of this little teardrop trailer features the sorts of thoughtful touches and custom woodwork you’d want in your tiny home.

The cabin holds an almost queen-sized mattress (it’s the same length but is just three inches narrower), storage cabinets, a skylight, and cute, collapsible bedside shelves beneath each side window. The Nordic-style galley, or kitchen, is hidden under a hatch at the back and includes a sink, faucet, LED lighting, and an optional stove and custom cooler, which looks like a wooden steamer trunk. 3. Forest River R-Pod RP-190

The Forest River R-Pod RP-190 makes use of every inch of the available space. It’s only 20 feet and 4 inches long but has a kitchen, shower room, dinette and queen bed.

The design is clean and efficient and fits a lot of amenities into the small footprint. There is plenty of built in storage too which is really useful.

The slide out works at the push of a button and contains the kitchen, so when the slide out is out it opens up a corridor to get to the bathroom and bed.

The unloaded weight is only 2,979 lbs so it’s really lightweight and easy to tow and maneuver. 

The R-Pod RP-190 can sleep up to 4 people as the dinette area can be converted into another bed. 

There are also outside speakers built in and a TV in the entrance area so you won’t be short of entertainment when camping in the R Pod.

4. KZ Escape E160RBT

If you want to sleep a lot of people (up to 7or 8) but still want a small trailer then the KZ escape E160RBT is a fantastic option.

The new version has two pull outs that convert into queen size beds, there is a dinette that converts into a bed and a jackknife sofa that also converts, so there is ample sleeping room.

It has plenty of amenities including a bluetooth media centre, convection oven and 2 burner stove. The refrigerator is large and the kitchen has a big deep single sink.

There is also plenty of storage space including drawers, and a large pantry/wardrobe.

A 10 inch awning makes the most of the outside space, with motion detector lights and a wind sensor.

The unloaded weight is 2,880 lbs so like the others in this list it’s super lightweight and easy to maneuver as it’s only 19 foot 2 inches long.

It also has a shower and toilet, so everything that you need fitted into a smart compact trailer.

5. Forest River Independence Trail 172BHDS

Another brilliant small travel trailer with a slide out from Forest River is the Independence Trail 172BHDS, it is slightly bigger than 20 foot at 20 foot and 5 inches long. But it is packed full of useful space and can sleep up to 8 people.

As you can see from the floor plan it has a queen bed, bunk beds and a dinette that can convert. This provides comfortable sleeping for 8 people and is a bit easier to move about when everything is converted than the KZ Escape.

It also has a 12” awning to make the most of the outside space, there are also outside speakers so you can be entertained outside. The media centre is all bluetooth compatible.

The only downside is that the bathroom doesn’t have a sink to save space, so you will have to use the kitchen sink to wash your hands.

6. Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro

The Geo Pro is tailored towards boondocking, complete with solar and power friendly appliances. 

This trailer will comfortably sleep up to 4 people, as the sofa can convert into a bed. The interior is light and well built with plenty of appliances including a large refrigerator, microwave, oven, 2 hobs, large sink and TV.

There is also an 11” awning so you can enjoy your outdoor space.

The unloaded weight is 3,375lbs so it’s easy to tow and maneuver. 

This trailer does feel quite spacious inside, they have done a really good job with the interior to make it feel bigger than what it is.

Final Thoughts

Opting for a small travel trailer doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style and comfort. These travel trailers with slide outs make effective use of the space available.

These 6 small travel trailers are all around 20 foot long, but with the slide outs some can sleep up to 8 people.

If you worry about RV storage space and maneuvering then I’d recommend having a look at one of these trailers, especially if you are new to RVing. They will make the adjustment to towing easier as they are light and compact.

Mention an "RV," and images of massive, gas-guzzling homes on wheels that appeal mainly to those nearing retirement is what might first come to mind. But an industry trend driven by — who else? — millennials is seeing recreational-vehicle profiles getting "smaller, sleeker with more technology built in," Recreational Vehicle Industry Association spokesman Kevin Broom told The Spokesman-Review . Cheapism has rounded up a few of these tiny RVs that are turning heads, at a number of different prices, from more affordable trailers that cost less than $15,000 to luxury motorhomes that ring up at a staggering $500,000. 

Polydrop Trailer

A more angular take on the ubiquitous teardrop trailer profile, the Polydrop looks like a tiny spaceship, especially with its gull-wing doors raised. At just over 12 feet long, with a double layer of insulated wood and aluminum skin, it's designed to be cozy, even in cold weather.

Like other trailers with similar profiles, the Polydrop includes a cabin with sleeping space and storage, and the camper's back opens up to a minimalist, mod-looking cooking space that includes a cabinet for electronic components and two storage drawers — no cooktop, sink, or refrigeration here. Polydrops start at $12,500.

inTech RV Flyer Chase

This Indiana company offers a number of RV models considered tiny by today's standards. The Flyer Chase is one of the more versatile options with plenty of available add-ons and mods. At 7 feet, 5 inches long and 3 feet, 9 inches high, it sleeps two, but can accommodate up to three more people with an add-on tent feature.

RVers who really like to get off the beaten path can do so with the Chase's off-road tires, all-aluminum, fully welded cage frame, and lift kit. Larger versions of the Flyer — the Pursue and Explore — come with slide-out kitchens and tip-outs for extra sleeping space. New models of this trailer start at a little above $13,000.

This pop-top, "original A-frame" camper was conceived of in the early 1970s. It now comes in 10 versions with differing features. These include exterior options such as an outdoor shower, baggage doors, LED running lights, exterior outlets, off-road axle, outside grill, and more. Interior options include a shower, toilet, and front and/or rear beds. 

Aliner: The View Inside

Some models include a refrigerator, microwave, and stove-top. The company also makes a small-footprint, teardrop-like RV camper called the Ascape with solar panel and flat-screen TV options. Plan to drop at least $29,000 for the latest Ascape models, depending on size and features.

Aero Teardrop Steel

Portland, Oregon-based Aero offers a number of customizable tiny RV models, but the 5-by-10-foot Steel is its most compact they currently offer. Like many teardrop-style trailers, the Steel features a sleeping cabin and galley that can be configured several ways. It also comes with a Bluetooth stereo system, hardwood cabinetry, LED lighting, and underfloor storage.

Custom options such as exterior finish, wheel type, tongue storage, and awning, as well as interior add-ons such as TV/DVD player and stainless steel countertops increase the price. Aero has a super-intuitive trailer-building feature on its website that lets customers know exactly how much each feature costs. Models start at $18,850.

Scamp Trailer

Scamp has been making trailers since the 1970s, and is still going strong . The camper's original aerodynamic profile remains on the modern standard and deluxe models, available in 13- and 16-foot trailer versions, as well as a 19-foot fifth-wheel version. This latter option comes with oak or birch hardwoods, a larger bath area, more storage, and space to accommodate a larger refrigerator.

With a convertible dinette and queen-bed loft area, the super-sized Scamp can sleep five to six. Expect to spend around $19,900 for the smallest version and between $24,000 and $36,000 for larger models.

T2RV Dinky Dub Sleeper

If you're a fan of the VW Bus, you'll love the Dinky Sleeper's design, which looks a lot like the classic vehicle, only in towable form. This tiny RV comes with or without an outdoor kitchenette, and both models include a custom queen mattress and options such as privacy window shutters, roof rack, AC/heat, portable cooler, indoor curtain track, and pop-up top with weather curtains.

T2RV Dinky Dub Sleeper: The View Inside

Dinkys can be ordered in a choice of colors, and are easily towable at about 1,000 pounds. The kitchenette version starts at $31,000 and one without at $28,400.

nüCamp TAB Teardrop

For the RV owner who likes a nod to vintage styling combined with Amish craftsmanship, there's this line of tiny towables. Unlike most other teardrops that have a kitchen accessible from outside, nüCamp's TAB models includes it inside, and there are even floor plans that include a wet bath.

The camper's base package includes central AC and heat, a 19-inch TV/DVD/radio combo with Bluetooth technology, and an external shower for hosing down gear, pets, or yourself. Optional features include LED lights, solar panels, a Yakima roof rack, off-road tires, and more. Prices for these trailers start in the low $24K range and can exceed $35,000, depending on model and features.

Taxa Outdoors Cricket

With a dry weight of just over 1,700 pounds and a design inspired by NASA, the easily towable Cricket has a ton of features that make this tiny RV versatile. Once parked, campers can open a pop-up roof for added ventilation and space. It also comes with a built-in, birch plywood kitchen, under-bed storage, and a bed that can be converted into seating.

Available options include a portable toilet, kids' berths, window AC unit, and more. The Cricket also has thoughtful exterior details — bottle opener, carabiner clips, hot/cold exterior shower — that any adventure-thirsty gearhead will love. The base model goes for around $43,500.

Opus OP 15' Hybrid Caravan

Built with "tough luxury in mind," this tiny RV includes a bamboo interior, a pullout stainless steel kitchen that includes a chopping board, prep deck and pantry access, as well as an electric Dometic cooler that has both refrigeration and freezing compartments, and a pop-up roof that provides extra headroom. 

Opus OP 15' Hybrid Caravan: The View Inside

The OP's interior includes a leatherette dining area, shower/toilet combo with hot water availability, a king size bed and twin bunks, and plenty of available storage via a wardrobe and other storage areas. At nearly 5,000 pounds, it'll require a more robust vehicle to tow it but, as GearJunkie once noted , with this many features, it "may be nicer than your home." Models start at $54,000.

Airstream Basecamp, Caravelle, and Bambi

The classic silver bullet company offers these three models that range in starting price from $59,300 to $74,000. All three are 16-footers, although the Bambi can sleep four at that size, and also comes in 19-, 20- and 22-foot versions.

All three come with a functioning kitchen and waterproof interior bathroom (as well as exterior shower with hot and cold water). The Bambi and Basecamp have a base weight of 3,500 pounds making them easy to tow — although the Bambi might require a regular rather than midsize SUV. The base weight of the Caravel is 4,300.

Winnebago Revel

The Class B — commonly called van campers — is another category that lends itself well to smaller footprint RVs, and Winnebago's Revel is a popular, award-winning choice in this genre. It's the first off-road ready camper to be mass-produced and sold in the U.S. in decades, and Outside magazine called it a "breakthrough camper van." It includes a power-lift bed with under-bed storage, an all-in-one gear closet and wet bath, and swivel cab seats, as well as a kitchen with single-burner induction cooktop, stowable countertop extension, and 2.5 cubic foot fridge.

Other desirable features include AC/heat, dual-pane acrylic awning windows with shades for ventilation, and snap-in screens on sliding and rear doors to "let the breeze in while keeping the bugs out." All that versatility comes with a bit of sticker shock, however — new models start at $210,292.

Winnebago Boldt

Following the success of the Revel is Winnebago's newest camper van, the Boldt . Built on a 24-foot Mercedes-Benz chassis with a V6 diesel engine that's also available in a 4x4 option, this modern motorhome includes safety features such as airbags, blind-spot monitors, and assist systems for auto-high beam, active lane keeping, and active braking. The two floorplans combine sleeping areas, galley kitchens, and dining areas.

Winnebago Boldt: The View Inside

Winnebago claims it's the "most comfortable B-van ever created" and, with a starting price of $245,587, it should be. For that amount of money, travelers also get Corian countertops, an AI voice interface system, integrated Wi-Fi, a 24-inch LED TV and sound system, and enough extra insulation to make it four-season road-worthy.
