Booked flights from Trip.com. Being Diamond tier, we took advantage of complimentary lounge access. Nice. Lowest flight rate among other providers. Flew on Cathay Pacific and pleasantly surprised they offered free privilege seat selection for free for return flight too. Grateful. Ok flight entertainment was great. Departure and arrival punctual. However, service was minimal with just snacks and bottled water offered. Hotel selected Park lane Pullman was great in all aspect and we were offered free upgrade too. Trip.com remains my first choice in flight and hotel selection. Thank you.

i reserved Le Meridien Hotel since the…

i reserved Le Meridien Hotel since the event I attended will be there. After I got the confirmation, i called the hotel for the late check out but the request was not granted and i will be charged with extra night for the late check out. So immediately booked another hotel which is Kingsgate with much practical rate. I called them and they agree on the late check out. Issue resolved in an instant.

Do not use this travel agency

Even though the prices on this site are a bit lower, I really wouldn’t recommend using it. Our flight got canceled, and even though we had their travel insurance, they couldn't help us at all. We had to submit change requests over and over, and every single one got rejected. Their customer service wasn’t helpful either—they just kept giving us the same scripted answers. It’s clear they don’t actually communicate with the airlines and just submit requests without knowing what’s available. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this experience was so frustrating that I don’t want others to go through the same thing.

First time in Savoy

Don’t expect perfection but for the price I paid and for the service received during my overnight stay, I’m rating this 5 for going beyond my expectations for this first time booking. 2 days before my stay, Savoy Hotel sent me an email reminder. It also says, “Please do not hesitate to let us know if we can be of assistance in making any special preparations prior to your arrival.” and so I give it a shot and replied with a request. Thank you to Housekeeping Team Leader Remuel Tayao for that creative presentation. Most of the staff I’ve encountered with are courteous and welcoming except for the tall front desk lady during my check-in. Btw, I hope you install a pin light by the room coffee/tea area and closet. I had an issue with being charged £61…

I had an issue with being charged £61 for a change in name even when the airline allows up to 3 letters to be changed for free. After some forward and back with different people from Trip.com the Customer Success Manager Dee was super helpful and able to investigate further into this issue and resolve by providing a full refund. She was so helpful and accommodating to my frustration.

I give you 3 stars because for few things which went wrong . Fisrst the hospitality was good but to communicate with foreign clients it’s too hard your employees should learn official language so that can be easily to communicate with customer from every where. Another thing which is bad you don’t have restaurant, a hotel like yours must have restaurant which can work at least up to the midnight. Next you must post things which is really exist like swimming pool the way looks on your website it’s not same with what saw during my visit you must improve that . Awful company

Awful company, they advertised a car rental company, who is third part company advertised under the name big company car higher, this third part company is impossible to contact when we come to pick the rental car wasn’t there, no customer service whatsoever, we basically been scam. I end up paying for another booking, they offer to refund coins to use in the website again NO WAY then Trip.com offer to refund 10% from my booking. Trip.com is not a trust company, first time did a booking using Trip.com and will be the last.

Was quite a nasty situation

Was quite a nasty situation! My daughter couldn’t board on the Turkish airlines in Strasbourg due to the name abréviation. Since our name is quite long, ctrip system somehow shorten it. At the end, my family couldn’t board. Luckily I was seating in China and had the opportunity to go to ctrip headquarter to solve it face to face. For sure this situation couldn’t be solved via the online service who told me couple of time I had the repay a new flight ticket, so why? Then I meet the team who found suitable solution for my family. In summarize, I hope ctrip could solve such problem online, and shows better attitude and cooperation. Because one of their colleague wasn’t really cooperative and push back the issue to my side, that was unpleasant!

Visiting Grand Hotel

Visiting the Grand Hotel was a wonderful experience, especially since I had passed by it so many times without ever having the chance to stop in. The receptionist and concierge were very helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and the grand hall was incredibly impressive with its classic Oriental design. The dinner buffet was decent; the sushi and steamed fish were definitely worth trying, and the desserts were delightful.

Trip.com Reveals 2024 Trip.Best Global and Asia 100 Rankings

Leading online travel service provider Trip.com has released its 2024 Trip.Best Global and Asia 100 lists, a collection of curated travel rankings based on real user reviews and year-round sales popularity. These Trip.Best lists enable global travellers to select the best experiences a destination has to offer, including hotels and attractions, as well as lifestyle choices such as restaurants and nightlife.

Top Hotels, Attractions, Nightlife, Restaurants and Destinations Make the List

The Global and Asia lists comprise different categories:

· Hotels: 100 Luxury Hotels, 100 Family Hotels, 100 Cultural Hotels, 100 Scenic Hotels, 100 Villas, 100 Ski Hotels, 100 Instagrammable Hotels, 100 Hot Spring Hotels (Asia only)

Paris took centre stage for the 2024 GLOBAL 100 Luxury Hotels list, with Hotel de Crillon, a Rosewood Hotel, taking the top spot. Le Bristol Paris - an Oetker Collection Hotel came in third while La Reserve Paris Hotel and Spa came in fifth. Raffles Singapore and Aman Tokyo came in second and fourth, respectively, to make up the top five luxury hotels globally.

In both lists, Asia offers a wealth of hotel recommendations for all types of travelers. Indonesia boasts luxury hotel Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape, as well as AYANA Villas Bali, one of the best villas in the region. Families will love child-friendly hotels such as Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast in Malaysia and Vinpearl Resort & Spa Nha Trang Bay in Vietnam. Travellers seeking cultural experiences can consider Sawasdee Village in Thailand, while those looking for a more scenic holiday can choose to stay at The Bellevue Resort in the Philippines known for its white beach views, or Karuizawa Prince Hotel West with some skiing in the mix.

With social media as a means of travel inspiration these days, some of the top Instagrammable hotels include Mai House Saigon Hotel in Vietnam and Good Nature Hotel Kyoto in Japan.

Asian attractions also took all top five spots on the 2024 GLOBAL 100 Best Things to Do list, with a strong showing from Universal Studios and Disneyland theme parks - Universal Beijing Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studio Singapore and Universal Studios Hollywood. In addition to theme parks being a key attraction in these destinations, museums also made it into the top 10, specifically The Palace Museum Hong Kong, the Louvre Museum in Paris and The British Museum in London.

The 2024 GLOBAL 50 Hot Springs list features the best hot springs from around the world, including Iceland's Blue Lagoon, Japan's Arima Onsen and Yufuin Onsen, the Travertines of Pamukkale in Turkey, as well as Queenstown Angson Barrel Hot Spring in New Zealand.

Travellers seeking a night out have declared the Empire State Building as the quintessential spot to immerse in the dazzling lights of New York City after dark. Paris and London offer plenty of popular nightlife options, including the Bateaux Mouches Paris Seine river cruise, the Eiffel Tower, the London Eye and Tower Bridge, all of which were voted in the top 10 of the 2024 GLOBAL 100 Nightlife list. Dubai's Burj Khalife and The View at the Palm topped the 2024 ASIA 100 Nightlife list, with Xi'an's "The Song of Everlasting" show, the Xi'an City Wall and Tang Paradise capping off the top five.

The spotlight is on Singapore when it comes to Asia's best restaurants, with its entries taking first place across all three categories. Three-Michelin-star Odette leads the ASIA 100 Fine Dining list, along with Palm Beach Seafood as the number one local restaurant and Spago Dining Room by Wolfgang Puck as the best restaurant for views and experiences. The lists are presented by Trip.Gourmet, which aims to showcase the best dining options and local food culture globally for travellers and food lovers.
