Enchanted Trolley Tour continues festive tradition of lighting holiday trees and spreading joy throughout neighborhoods
Mayor Mich elle Wu today announced the schedule for this year's Enchanted Trolley Tour, a Boston holiday tradition of lighting trees throughout the city to spread joy. This year, the Mayorâs Enchanted Trolley Tour will take place on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3, in neighborhoods throughout Boston. This event is presented by Bank of America with a special thanks to CityView Trolley Tours and includes visits with Santa, Mayor Wu, Office of Neighborhood Services staff, tree lightings, and more.
"This time of the year is the perfect time for community to come together and celebrate, and I encourage Boston residents across our neighborhoods to join us as we kick off the holiday season with our annual Enchanted Trolley Tour,â said Mayor Michelle Wu . âIâm grateful to our partners for their valuable support for Boston to continue this treasured tradition and opportunity to connect with constituents."

Mayor Wu leading Enchanted Trolley tour through Boston neighborhoods
BOSTON (WHDH) - The holiday season is getting into full swing around Boston and that means itâs time for the annual Mayorâs Enchanted Trolley tour of city neighborhoods.
Mayor Michelle Wu is keeping the tradition going and making several stops with the trolley this weekend â and Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand!
âWe look forward to this all year, we have 16 hours of being on the trolley all weekend and that means we get to spend time in almost every one of our neighborhoods and see people come together and counting down to light up the trees across our city â itâs a really beautiful time,â Wu said.
The tour continues Sunday with stops in Dorchester, South Boston, Chinatown, the North End and Charlestown.

The holiday spirit was alive and well over the weekend, as Boston’s Enchanted Trolley Tour continued the festive tradition of lighting trees and spreading cheer throughout city neighborhoods.
Mayor Michelle Wu and the Enchanted Trolley Tour on Saturday went to West Roxbury, Readville, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain, Mission Hill, Roxbury, South End, and Brighton.
Then on Sunday, the tour made stops in Dorchester, South Boston, Chinatown, North End, Charlestown, and East Boston.
Ahead of the Enchanted Trolley Tour, Wu said, “The holiday season is a time for family, friends, and neighbors to be in community and celebrate together.”
