Mystical, mysterious Georgia is the veritable beating heart of the European Caucasus; the long-time gateway to the East, and melting pot of Arabic, Russian, Slavic, Orthodox, Islamic and Persian peoples, cultures, religions and creeds. Today it’s also hailed as one of the most naturally dramatic countries in the Northern Hemisphere, boasting a soaring backcountry of looming snow-tipped peaks, sandy Black Sea beaches and misty, mountain-shrouded forestry. Ask any Georgia tourist guide about the country, and they’ll tell you how the capital at Tbilisi is set to boom in years to come, as a centre of Eastern European culture, arts and even hedonism. They may also mention the country’s burgeoning ski scene, centred on the sprawling resort of Gudauri more than 1,500 metres up in the Caucasus hills. Then there are the postcard-perfect mountain spots; the tower-studded town of Svaneti, hugged by firs; the gorgeous Mestia, with its backdrop of cloud-covered massifs. Come to explore these amazing sights, to try mouth-watering platters of earthy khachapuri breads and steaming dumplings, to sip mukuzani dry wines. Come to dance kartuli with locals in smoky mountain pubs, or gawp at gravity-defying hilltop villages, perched out over the magnificent valleys in the heart of this truly beautiful country.
Tell us your destination, date, and group size.
Our team of travel experts and guides will design a tailored itinerary just for you., enjoy your trip with peace of mind knowing everything is taken care of..

Georgian Highlights
Georgia is a country to the east of the Black Sea, most of it land is located in the South Caucasus, while a portion of the territory lies in the North Caucasus. As a former republic of the Soviet Union, it shares borders with Russia in the north and Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan in the south.
Legend has it that when God was distributing parts of the world to all the people of the Earth, Georgians were having a party and doing some serious drinking. Therefore, they arrived too late to the meeting. When God told them that all the land has been distributed, Georgians replied that the reason they were so late was that they have been raising their glasses to praise Him. God was pleased with the gesture and gave Georgians the land he was reserving for himself.

From car rentals to hassle-free transfers, it’s essential to make your life as easy as it can be. A range of discounts to reward you as a partner, and cooperations featuring these elements can be a sign of a local travel partner that cares about your growth, and won’t treat you “just like anyone”.
Premade and tested experiences
Local travel agents are often well-traveled, have visited the places, are aware of everything about the destination, and create personalized recommendations for partner travel companies, because they have been there and done that.

Georgia Adventure
I think this trip was very expensive for what we got. I traveled independently in Georgia and found it cheap and easy to eat great food, stay in really good accommodation and find specialised guides and transportation. The hotel we stayed in in Mestia cost AUD$35 for a single occupancy with breakfast and dinner. Our cost per day was AUD $200 (without a single supplement). That’s one hell of a lot for a guide and transportation in a country like Georgia. The breakfasts in two of the hotels were atrocious. Given Intrepid used a local company I think there was just far too much cash going to people not contributing anything. I also found Intrepid hopelessly unresponsive to my email enquires in the days leading up to the trip. I’d heard that Intrepid are a great company. Certainly wasn’t my experience and I doubt that I would risk using them again. Certainly won’t be recommending my friends do this. I’ll be telling them to book directly with operators in Georgia.

8-Day Trekking Group Tour in Svaneti
Totally satisfied with the trip and the guide Tato, who has taught us a lot about the history and culture of Georgia. He has served as the toast master the Georgia way, and his speech before each drink is very profound and soul touching. The only suggestion for improvement is to modify the last day’s information to remove the visit to glacier Chalaargi on the way back to Tbilisi. It’s in the program but we are told if we go there, we’ll arrive at Tbilis at 10 pm.

Georgia on My Mind
I had problems finding a tour provider, there was many tours available but I always got the reply "too few participants". Almost gave up, when I found this tour from Mega City Travel. They offered me a tour, which I could add locations and other things, like another joining place, in my case Batumi instead of Tbilisi. All for extra costs of course, but rather that than no tour at all. I had Reza as personal guide for 6 days, we became close friends. The last 2 days was one guided group to Kazbegi and one guided Tbilisi walking tour. The best was of course the private guided travel which gave me chance too see and experience much of Georgia, and Reza was more than a driver and guide. He helped me out with all practical things like using a Paybox etc.

A Taste of Georgia - Tbilisi to the Caucasus Mountains
What people love about fully guided tours in georgia.
A great 11 day intro to the republic of georgia including beautiful mountain views, a modern city of Batumi, a historical walk through Tbilisi, and wonderful meals with Georgian hospitality. I couldn't ask for a better weather for the trip. The guide Zurab was full of energy, super fun, and so informative on Georgian culture. He helped me out regarding booking a taxi, getting a sim card and providing ideas during free time. It was a relaxed trip into such an untouristed country with a European flair with old churches and great food. I really wished we had more than a day to explore Ushguli...that's a super cool old timey* place to explore. Long travel days, but lots of unexpected surprises along the way. Highly recommend!!!
Our driver/ guide, Paata, was very kind, accommodating, and professional throughout our journey across beautiful Georgia. Always full of humour and good vibes with him around. Safety is always observed on the road, where we spend a lot of time on during the trip. Highly recommended if you’re joining this tour. Niko from Exotour was responsive with his replies leading to our departure. Overall it was a smooth booking process. Madloba to you both! Itinerary covers a lot (too many) of monasteries and churches from the start. So I reckon this might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But hey, welcome to Georgia! Expect long hours on the road especially outside summer seasons when daylight is shorter because the itinerary is packed. At times you might feel rushed at certain places. It’s therefore good to plan ahead where you wanna spend more time and let your guide know. We truly enjoy our time in Mestia, Gudauri, and Kazbegi from the itinerary, where we are close to nature. Tbilisi and Batumi are very nice to walk around. Accommodations are mostly at 3-star hotels, imo. Better not to expect 4-star standards or else you might be disappointed. All included meals were adequate. We enjoy our stay in Mestia the most, and we are glad spending 2 nights there. Overall this tour covers a lot of ground within the given time and tries to give you a pretty wholistic experience of Georgia. Happy to recommend this to my friends. Gamarjoba!
Heard so many things about Georgia and got the recommendation for this trip from my friend, I can't imagine any better version of my vacation there, love each moment of it. Many thanks for all of your work

Delve into the culture of a land where myths and legends seem to spring from every forest, rock and stream, on one of our Georgia Tours.
Lying at the crossroads of trade and tradition for centuries, Georgia is one of Europe’s best-kept secrets. It’s a country of breath-taking landscapes, a cuisine that is as delicious as it is undiscovered and a rich national story stretching back over 5,000 years.
We go out of our way to put together Georgia
We go out of our way to put together Georgia small group tours that combine off the beaten track locations, with must-see sites. Our tour guides will treat you to Georgia’s wine and food culture and walk you through remote mountain villages, all while meeting some of the friendliest locals you’re likely to find.
Our Georgia tailor-made holidays allow you to explore the snow-covered peaks of the Caucasus Mountains, the glittering waters of the Black Sea and the picturesque meadows of wildflowers, all that gives Georgia a claim to be considered as one of the most beautiful countries in the world. It’s little wonder that the Georgians themselves believe their country to be a gift from God.
It also boasts a cultural heritage that’s able to rival almost anywhere, with its host of captivating churches decorated with colourful frescos, ancient watchtowers and medieval cave cities carved into the mountainside. Its history tells of invasion and conquest from Greeks, Mongols, Ottomans and Russians – and all have left an indelible mark on Georgia we see today. Its architecture, art, religion and cuisine contain clear influences from these old powers and yet are still uniquely Georgian.
The capital city of Tbilisi has its own charm, its old town is full of winding streets lined with quirky shops and chic cafes. On the coast of the Black Sea lies Georgia’s second-largest city of Batumi, a former regional commercial hub and now a popular retreat for locals looking to enjoy the area’s warm weather. And then there’s Gori, the birthplace of Stalin and a town where the country’s Soviet past is still clearly visible in its austere architecture.
Whether you visit Georgia to see its scenery, meet the locals, enjoy its cuisine, discover its history, or all of the above, we don’t think you’ll come away disappointed. Georgia has everything you need for a perfect holiday.

Vegetarians can be catered for, but for any other dietary requirements please contact the office.
Georgian wines are regarded as the best quality. The country's unique climate and soil quality have made it a major winemaking region for many thousands of years and Kindzmareuli, a fruity, red wine, is reputed to have been Stalin’s favourite tipple. Akhasheni and Teliavi are two of the more common red wines, fruity and dry respectively. Tsinandali is a dry white wine, as is Gurdzhaani.
