Although the cue for the oasis tickets…

Although the cue for the oasis tickets was long and the demand very high, when I did eventually get through to the tickets they were all still the original prices, or very very close. The only downside was the multiple site and transaction fees that hitched up the price by about £15-20.

Happy to have option to print e-tickets

One of my 2 preferred providers. Site easy to negotiate and payment process is quick and streamlined. Having arrived at a gig and been restricted from using e-tickets purchased via another platform because their system erroneously identified me as a bot, I’m very happy that this provider has made clear the option to print out tickets too (at least for the gigs that I have booked for).

Better than Ticketmaster for Oasis

2 hour wait, but managed to get Oasis tickets on the morning of release. No dynamic pricing here, no being kicked off or accused of being a bot. Was queueing on Ticketmaster too, and got nowhere. G & T again if given the choice

I trust them from previous experience…

Again it's difficult to review on purchasing event tickets. Gigs & tours expertly & efficiently took money from my account for tickets, I then received an email giving me access to said tickets. However I can say I have used g&t in the past & found them to be reliable & a lot less agro than other vendors. So g&t are currently my go to ticket provider.

Oasis tickets

Whilst having to wait in a queue, it continuously refreshed and once I was in there were no performance issues at all and I was able to book my oasis tickets very easily. The only issue that I assume users may find is that you had no idea where in the queue you were.

Tickets available in the app too late in time

Buying tickets was surprisingly easy (many dates and seats still available), despite the initial queue. I would have given 5 stars if only I would have the tickets in the app. The fact that tickets will be displayed only few days before the concert is making me anxious.

Well I got Oasis tickets easily.

Well I got Oasis tickets for the date I wanted (Heaton park on the 20th) after being messed about by ticketmaster for hours . Gigsandtours was simple, wait until it was my time, buy tickets at the advertised price.. I'll use gigsandtours at every opportunity from now on.

Took a while to get tickets for oasis through the site due to demand but after refreshing a few times got through and was happy to see prices weren’t inflated as with other sites

After trying from 9am to get oasis ticket on ticket master, it was an absolute waste of time. Gigs and tours system works a lot better and managed to get on the site without being kicked off or told that the tickets were no longer available when they were. I won’t be using ticket master again for tickets!

I have bought tickets successfully…

I have bought tickets successfully through this website for the last three gigs I have attended (including recent Oasis tickets!). The website crashed once due to the traffic but that was to be expected, I think they set up a fair queuing system and most importantly they held the prices, unlike other ticket providers! Would recommend and will use again for any other ticket needs!

Was logged in to the site from 8am, got kicked out at 9am and then waited 2.5 hours watching the automatic refresh until lo and behold I was let back in! Bought 4 standing tickets for my preferred date, at the price advertised (no dynamic pricing here!) Well done Gigs and Tours! Will use this site next time instead of the ‘other one’ ☝️

Took several hours to access the website proper, but once I was offered the opportunity to buy tickets, everything went like a breeze. Worked better than Ticketmaster

On the recent morning of madness, I managed to secure Oasis tickets through Gigs and Tours when Ticketmaster let me down. The same happened with Peter Kay tickets. It took a couple of hours to get on to the website, but worked better than other sites

Doesn’t kick you off once on the site

Once on the site, so easy to use, doesn’t kick you off. Obviously sometimes it’s a struggle to get on for high demand tickets, but once on it’s brilliant which is why it’s probably so hard to get on in the first place!

Lack of information

It was the lack of information during the Oasis ticket frenzy. I and others with me were on your website for hours. I was lucky as there was a brief window where I got a ticket. Others weren't as licky. Although I'm not a big fan of Ticketmaster they did proved updates although minimal and not very often. I do commend you on the selling price as expected, without doing the ludicrous dynamic, inflationary price gouging Ticketmaster did.

Timed out unable to pay

I tried to get oasis tickets on Saturday. We got to the front of the queue and selected 2 seated tickets for wembley. I proceeded and selected no insurance to to pay by card. I was then stuck on this screen it wouldn't let me proceed to payment. After 10 minutes of trying, the screen times out and I was sent back to the holding page. Absolutley gutted. Never had a problem before as prefer the ease of this website in comparison to ticket master. Now left ticket less with hundreds selling for £700+ online.

Worry free mini road trip from Galway to Dublin

The driver, Hamza, was fantastic! Arrived ahead of time and got in touch with me to ensure we found one another. The trip was from Galway to Dublin, but it flew by quickly and Hamza navigated the tight roads with ease. I had a stop included and that also went super smoothly and I’m very grateful that I was able to get in one last bit of sightseeing. The van was clean and comfortable and the temperature was perfect. The conversation wasn’t forced or felt like too much - it was just right and it was great chat. I’m sure I’ll be returning to Dublin soon and will definitely keep Transfers And Tours Ireland at the top of my list should I need transportation. Thanks again for a smooth trip back to Dublin to cap a wonderful vacation!

Jack White ’s four solo albums in the years that followed the breakup of the White Stripes are explorations of styles that show multiple other sides of his musicianship, veering into R&B and blues and experimental styles far from the straight-ahead, blistering rock and roll he’d laid down with the band that put him on the map. Those albums are all cool and often great, but it’s hard to deny that although his fans like, respect and appreciate them — along with side projects like the Raconteurs and Dead Weather — secretly they wished he’d just put together a small rock band, plug in, turn the volume up and let rip.

In classic contrarian fashion, White has basically said that the band isn’t really doing a tour but just playing shows, with union halls and similar small venues on the docket — there are a handful of U.S. and U.K. dates scheduled this fall, with hopefully more to come.

Traditional, straight-ahead, guitar-driven rock and roll has been in a sad place for the last couple of decades — it has little direct connection to the music that’s popular today, except for country, and in many ways the White Stripes seem like the last great rock band, or at least the last one to really move the culture into maybe-not-so-new but truly exciting places. But as “No Name” and Monday night’s concert show, if there’s one person to keep it alive and kicking, it’s Jack White.

Quick easy and my first stop for gig tickets. They don’t allow resales to profit and are often linked from artists web pages for presale which makes me think artists trust them. Never had problems with site crashing.

On August 15th, Bay Area metal legends, Forbidden, performed a one-off club show in the middle of their European summer festival tour at Rebellion in Manchester, England following their Bloodstock appearance. Fan-filmed video of their entire show can be viewed below.

Forbidden recently announced that they have parted ways with guitarist Steve Smyth.

Says Steve:  “Hey everybody, I’ve said this before in my career, but all things do reach their end at some point. As hard as this is to write this, I’ve decided it’s time to part ways with Forbidden, and return to my band One Machine as priority, along with other projects on the horizon, and of course session work, and teaching music as always.

"Forbidden was always a place I considered home, from the very first gig I played with the guys, the Thrash Of The Titans festival, back in 2001, touring across 2009/2010 with Russ and Mark, writing and releasing the Omega Wave album, the touring that followed 2010-2012, and the last year. It’s a home I’ll miss, but the memories will remain.

"One Machine is my own home that I’ve built myself, from before, and after my first stint with Forbidden, from 2009-2012. We are preparing to release a new EP, with touring starting up in September across Europe.

"Prior to rejoining Forbidden, I declared my intention to move between Forbidden and One Machine, in between schedules. It now appears those schedules are conflicting.

"I’d like to thank YOU the fans for all of your support over the years! I couldn’t do ANY of this without you! Craig and Matt especially for welcoming me back to Forbidden! To new additions Chris and Norman, Tim Healy, the crew, every promoter and agent, thank you for making the last year of music and travelling the world happen!

"I wish Forbidden all the best for the future, and all it may bring!”

Says Forbidden: "We understand and accept Steve’s decision to walk away for his own personal reasons and to finish what he started with One Machine. Steve had been by our side creating and playing music from the end of 2008-2012 and for the rebirth in 2023. He contributed much greatness along the way.
