Warner Bros.’ “ The Flash ” already has a few high profile fans before its theatrical release. Horror icon Stephen King got to see an early screening of the DC tentpole and raved on Twitter , “This one is special. It’s heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping. I loved it.” A report from THR also claimed that Tom Cruise was treated to an early look of the film and loved it so much that he personally called director Andy Muschietti to share raves. In a recent interview with Total Film magazine , Andy Muschietti and “The Flash” producer Barbara Muschietti confirmed Cruise’s phone call.

Barbara agreed, saying, “It’s a very cynical industry, and to hear people that really have no skin in the game, because they have nothing to gain, just say something that lovely – in the case of Tom Cruise, he called us, talked for 15 minutes, praising Andy, praising the film, and it just feels very good because we really work very hard to make these movies.”

In THR’s original story, it was reported that Cruise became interested in seeing “The Flash” after meeting with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav in February. Zaslav was raving about the comic book movie, which new DC Studios co-head James Gunn has repeatedly called one of the greatest superhero movies ever made. Cruise’s interest was piqued, so Zaslav arranged a screening for the A-lister.

Cruise has become something of cinema’s savior thanks to the blockbuster success of “Top Gun: Maverick,” which grossed $1.49 billion worldwide last year and was widely regarded as the studio tentpole that brought movie theaters back to life post-pandemic. Although Disney’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was the pandemic era’s first billion-dollar grosser and hit the $1.9 billion mark, that film was more of a sure bet theatrically than “Maverick” given its Marvel roots and a story that united three generations of Spider-Man actors.

“The Flash” opens in theaters nationwide June 16 from Warner Bros.

Stranger Things Season 5's Gaten Matarazzo Just Shared Two Fun Reveals

Wolverine: rumored front-runner emerges to succeed hugh jackman as logan, 8 best dark fantasy movies, ranked.

Tom Cruise watched an early screening of the upcoming DC blockbuster, The Flash . Afterward, Cruise took it upon himself to let the film's director, Andrés Muschietti, to let him know how much he loved the film.

Cruise is one of Hollywood's biggest icons, both currently and of all time, so those who have achieved greatness can see greatness too. Cruise reportedly called Muschietti directly and spontaneously to gush to him about how good The Flash was and said it's the kind of film Hollywood needs right now.

RELATED: The Flash Keeps Getting Spoiled By Funko Pops

According to The Hollywood Reporter , "Cruise has seen the movie and loved it so much that he cold-called the movie’s director, Andy Muschietti, to rave about it." On top of that, according to the report, it was an "out of the blue" call. "Cruise is said to have raved about the movie, saying something to the effect that Flash is 'everything you want in a movie' and 'this is the kind of movie we need now.'"

Even though Cruise has never been involved in any superhero franchise, he has been the lead for the Mission: Impossible franchise . He may also be the lead in another, thanks to the incredibly successful Top Gun: Maverick sequel that came out last year. Cruise was one of the biggest stars in show business throughout the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, but has adequately adjusted to keeping his name relevant in this day and age by being the big star in a movie franchise in an era where moviegoers seem to care more about blockbuster popcorn franchises now more than ever. His appeal nowadays is his willingness to perform his own stunts even while being 60 years old.

This is a good sign for the DCU that Cruise, who has been part of multiple well-received blockbusters over the past several years, seemed to believe that not only was The Flash good, but it was also what blockbuster movies should be. The Flash serves as a soft reboot of the DCEU, which is essentially starting from scratch after all the projects they scrapped, so to get the thumbs up from Cruise in their first major release since all the significant changes they made bodes well for them.

The DCEU has been inconsistent with their movies from the beginning, but when they got it right, they nailed it. Getting a Flash movie right should inspire confidence in fans that they have found their footing, especially since Shazam: Fury of the Gods has not received the response they hoped for. Long-term, the real question is whether audiences will be able to look past the Ezra Miller controversies or even if the plan is to keep them around past the film's release.

The Flash will premiere in theaters on June 16, 2023.

'Reacher's Alan Ritchson Is Jumping Into Action on New Sci-Fi Thriller 'War Machine'

‘reagan’ wins popular vote as it nears domestic box office milestone, ‘trap’ passes final global box office milestone as one of m. night shyamalan’s lowest-grossing films.

Back in March, it was revealed in a report by The Hollywood Reporter that the upcoming superhero movie The Flash had been testing well both inside and outside the studios. For months, the film has steadily been gaining hype ahead of its June 16 release date, aided in no small part by the likes of James Gunn , who referred to the film as “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.”

Outside of Warner Bros. Discovery, however, it had a very high profile supporter and backer: the all-encompassing actor, movie star, stuntman, daredevil, producer and walking brand of Tom Cruise . At the time of the report, it was said that Cruise had seen the movie, directed by Andy Muschietti , and loved it so much that he cold-called the director to tell him how much he had enjoyed it. Cruise had met with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav about a separate matter, and during the course of the meet, Zaslav mentioned how good the film was.

Suitably curious, Cruise made a request to see the current cut of the movie, a request which Zaslav was happy to agree to, and the film was sent over to Cruise for his opinion. The report added that a Warners employee brought the movie to Cruise’s home in Beverly Hills and stayed until the conclusion of the film, and then left with the movie. Cruise was so blown away by the film that he was said to have reached out directly to Muschietti to let him know how much he had enjoyed it, in a parallel with how Steven Spielberg had praised him for the success of Top Gun: Maverick.

Everything You Want in a Movie

Cruise was reported to have said the film was "everything you want in a movie" and "the kind of movie we need right now". Three months later, with The Flash just days away from release, Muschietti and his producing partner, sister Barbara Muschietti , have been making the rounds to promote the film , confirmed that the call happened, and were asked if the call from Cruise added any sort of pressure to them in terms of expectation.

"No," Andy said to Total Film . "If anything, [we got] more confidence in the thing that we did, because the movie was finished by the time that [Cruise and Stephen King - who also praised the film] saw it, so it was a confidence boost if anything."

Barbara added: "It's a very cynical industry, and to hear people that really have no skin in the game, because they have nothing to gain, just say something that lovely – in the case of Tom Cruise, he called us, talked for 15 minutes, praising Andy, praising the film, and it just feels very good because we really work very hard to make these movies."

The Flash opens in cinemas on June 16. Check out our interview with Andy and Barbara Muschietti down below.

Tom Cruise Allegedly Loved The Flash So Much He Called Andy Muschietti To Rave About It

Tom Cruise at Oscar luncheon

Yes, you read that right. Movie star Tom Cruise has seen "The Flash" and loved it so much that he dialed director Andy Muschietti. Earlier this year, new DC Studios head James Gunn praised "The Flash" as "one of the greatest superhero movies ever made." With Cruise now joining those ranks, it seems that DC fans are in for a treat with the Scarlet Speedster's adventure.

According to a write-up from  The Hollywood Reporter , Cruise spoke with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav late last month. During the meeting, the CEO mentioned how great "The Flash" was, piquing the movie star's curiosity. Zaslav then sent a Warner Bros. messenger to personally deliver "The Flash" to Cruise's home in Beverly Hills, where they stayed with the actor while he watched the final product. Soon after, Cruise (because he's Tom Cruise) casually called "The Flash" director Andy Muschietti, raving about the superhero movie. While there aren't direct quotes from the phone call, the report suggests Cruise's praise for "The Flash" included calling it "everything you want in a movie" and "the kind of movie we need now."

The Flash has had its ups and downs throughout production

The Flash getting ready to run

Tom Cruise's high praise for "The Flash" adds another wild twist to the movie's already ridiculous timeline. For one, the actor is such a random person to make headlines for watching the movie, given that he has no connection to the film whatsoever. But who knows action better than Tom "Savior of the Cinema" Cruise ?

Believe it or not, "The Flash" began development in 2014 when Warner Bros. announced the project with Ezra Miller playing the titular hero. Numerous directors boarded and left the project between then and now, but Miller remained committed to getting the film off the ground. Eventually, Warner Bros. landed on director Andy Muschietti ("IT") and was able to complete production for "The Flash."

However, Miller then began their string of headline-making actions, including numerous arrests and allegations of grooming. It seemed like a new story about the actor's off-screen activities hit the internet every week, jeopardizing the future of "The Flash." Many fans were understandably skeptical about the long-awaited movie, given the stories surrounding its production and the quality of recent DC releases. However, James Gunn's opinion on it shined a ray of hope on the movie, and with Cruise recently echoing those comments, fans may begin to finally accept that something special is on the way as "The Flash" speeds towards its June 16 release date.

Tom Cruise wanted to make sure “The Flash” team knew they had completed an (almost) impossible mission with a standout superhero film .

“The Flash” director Andy Muschietti confirmed that the “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” icon reached out after viewing an early cut of the completed film to “praise” the DCU tentpole feature starring Ezra Miller .

Producer Barbara Muschietti added, “It’s a very cynical industry, and to hear people that really have no skin in the game, because they have nothing to gain, just say something that lovely. In the case of Tom Cruise, he called us, talked for 15 minutes, praising Andy, praising the film , and it just feels very good because we really work very hard to make these movies.” Related Stories ‘Never Let Go’ Review: Halle Berry Protects Her Sons from Invisible Evils in Horror Flick About the Contradictions of Parenthood Lionsgate Has Something to ‘Crow’ About — It’s #1 on PVOD; McG’s ‘Uglies’ Leads Netflix

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter in March 2023 that Cruise allegedly had seen the film in late February following a meeting with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav.

Andy Muschietti also revealed that he contacted “Justice League” director Zack Snyder to assure “The Flash” would be “respectful” to the DC cinematic universe Snyder built.

“I talked to Zack, but it wasn’t technical or narrative or anything. I just wanted to reach out and say, ‘Hey,'” he said. “Because we haven’t met before, and I just wanted to tell him that we would be respectful to the stuff that he did before.”

Muschietti continued, “‘Man of Steel’ obviously is foundational to this movie because the big threat of Zod [Michael Shannon] coming to Earth is a big twist in this story , and it’s something that most DC fans know very well. And that’s one of the great things that can form the narrative of this movie.”

Lead star Miller recently thanked Snyder onstage at “The Flash” premiere, as well as DC Studios co-heads Peter Safran and James Gunn for their “ grace and discernment ” amid Miller’s mental health crises , multiple arrests , and allegations of assault and grooming .

Tom Cruise Loved “The Flash” So Much He Called Director Andy Muschietti

Rarely has a superhero film that’s not out yet generated so much positive A-list attention.  The Hollywood Reporter   had this interesting scoop right as this past weekend was getting underway—Tom Cruise got a chance to see director Andy Muschietti’s The Flash,  and he absolutely loved it.

We already know that new DC Studios co-chief James Gunn has seen the upcoming DC film (made before Gunn and co-chief Peter Safran took over DC Studios) and called it one of the best superhero movies he’s ever seen . Now  THR  reveals that Cruise got to see a special screening of the movie at his Beverly Hills house after a conversation with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, and he was so taken with the film that he dialed up director Muschietti to tell him as much.

Sources tell  THR  that this all happened in late February after Cruise had a meeting with David Zaslav, and the latter mentioned how exceptional The Flash  was. Cruise was intrigued and asked to see it. This being Tom Cruise, Zaslav made the movie available to him so that Cruise could watch it at home, with a Warner Bros. employee bringing the film to his house and staying until he finished it, then taking it back to the studio.

Here’s how THR describes what happened next: “Cruise was so taken by what he saw that soon after, he reached out to Muschietti. It was a call out of the blue for the director. Cruise is said to have raved about the movie, saying something to the effect that Flash is ‘everything you want in a movie’ and ‘this is the kind of movie we need now,’ according to insiders.”

Cruise clearly has a feel for what kind of movie the industry needs right now, considering his triumphant Top Gun: Maverick  was catnip for audiences and critics alike. And while  Maverick  had all the ingredients for a gangbusters action-adventure film mixed together perfectly, it sounds as if The Flash,  with its stellar cast and ace director, has all the superhero ingredients audiences crave assembled in perfect balance.

The Flash finds Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) using his super speed to race back in time to try and change the course of history and save his mother’s life. In doing so, however, Barry ends up in an alternate universe in which General Zod (Michael Shannon) is very much alive and determined to wipe out Barry and anyone else standing in his way. Making this problem even worse is that in this universe, there are no other meta-humans (that is, superheroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, etc.) which is why Barry has to recruit the only other superhero around who happens to be decidedly human and non-meta—Michael Keaton’s aging Batman.

Getting the Cruise seal of approval is yet another very positive bit of buzz for a film that doesn’t open until June 16. Warner Bros. is so enthusiastic about the film that, like Paramount did with Cruise’s  Top Gun: Maverick,  the studio is bringing The Flash  to CinemaCon to screen the film in its entirety for theater owners. Cruise himself has become arguably the most high-profile champion of the cinema and theaters, with none other than Steven Spielberg telling him, “you might have saved theatrical distribution” at an Academy Luncheon before the Oscars. Spielberg was referring to Cruise’s insistence on keeping  Top Gun: Maverick  in theaters, which resulted in a massive $1.49 billion haul and helped kickstart the return to theaters for audiences across the globe.

With both Gunn’s and Cruise’s raves, The Flash  has a very good chance of getting audiences to speed into theaters again.

The Flash  director Andy Muschietti is sharing his reaction to Tom Cruise calling him to praise the DC film.

In March, sources exclusively told The Hollywood Reporter  that Cruise saw the movie and loved it so much that he cold-called Muschietti, to rave about it. According to insiders, the Mission: Impossible actor said something to the effect that  Flash  is “everything you want in a movie” and “this is the kind of movie we need now.”

The Flash director Andy Muschietti has confirmed rumours that Tom Cruise called him out of the blue to praise the Ezra Miller -led superhero movie.

A report emerged back in March that the Mission: Impossible star had seen a preview of the forthcoming DC Studios film and loved it.

Producer Barbara Muschietti told GamesRadar+ in a new interview: “It’s a very cynical industry, and to hear people that really have no skin in the game, because they have nothing to gain, just say something that lovely. In the case of Tom Cruise, he called us, talked for 15 minutes, praising Andy, praising the film, and it just feels very good because we really work very hard to make these movies.”

Muschietti added: “[We got] more confidence in the thing that we did, because the movie was finished by the time that [Cruise] saw it, so it was a confidence boost if anything.”

The movie has won a number of fans already including famed horror author Stephen King who called it “special” and DC’s co-CEO James Gunn, who said it was “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made”.

However, in The Independent ’s three-star review , critic Clarisse Loughrey called it a “morally tricky” film to enjoy due to its star’s legal troubles.

Miller was involved in a string of controversies in the run-up to the film’s release , which culminated in multiple arrests and reports of erratic behaviour stretching from Hawaii to Vermont.

The actor, who uses they/them pronouns, alluded to their legal troubles at The Flash ’s Hollywood premiere on Monday (12 June).

According to Variety , Miller thanked the DC team – including Gunn and his co-CEO Peter Safran, Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav and Warner Bros Film Group bosses Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy – for “your grace and discernment and care in the context of my life”.

The actor also thanked them for “bringing this moment to fruition”, seemingly addressing the film’s many delays amid a threat of a boycott by fans .

Speaking to director Andy Muschietti, Miller said: “I love you, maestro. I think you’re amazing, and I think your work is monumental.”

The Flash is out in cinemas on 16 June.

Apparently Tom Cruise Has Seen The Flash Early, Here's What The Top Gun Star Thought About The DC Movie

What did Maverick think of the Scarlet Speedster’s first solo movie?

Tom Cruise as Pete Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick

The general public has been waiting for The Flash movie (in its current form) for nearly a decade, and there’s still three months to go until its wide release. However, some who weren’t involved with the upcoming DC movie ’s production have already had the privilege of seeing it early, and this reportedly includes Tom Cruise . For those of you wondering what the Top Gun: Maverick star thought of The Flash , apparently we can count him among its earliest fans.

This revelation comes from THR , which shared that Tom Cruise “loved” The Flash so much that he “cold called” director Andy Muschietti to pass along his praise. According to the outlet, Cruise’s early viewing of The Flash came after he met with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav in February, and after Zaslav mentioned how good the movie was, that made Cruise curious enough to want to see it. Zaslav obliged this request, but it wasn’t a simple matter of emailing the star of the Mission: Impossible franchise a screener.

An insider states that a messenger was sent to Tom Cruise’s Beverly Hills home to deliver a copy of The Flash . It’s unclear what format the movie was in, but this messenger stayed with Cruise for the entire time he was watching it, and once this screening of The Flash was over, Cruise gave the copy back to the messenger, who then returned it to Warner Bros. Pictures. As for Cruise’s call with Andy Muschietti, the actor reportedly told the director something along the lines of The Flash being “everything you want in a movie” and “this is the kind of movie we need now.”

While it’s interesting to hear that Tom Cruise approves of The Flash , this also serves as yet another example of him being a proponent of the theatrical experience. Just last month, director Steven Spielberg was recorded telling Cruise that he “saved Hollywood’s ass” and may have “saved theatrical distribution” with Top Gun : Maverick . The sequel was originally supposed to come out in 2020 and was pushed back several times, but Cruise was determined that it play on the big screen rather than be sent directly to VOD/streaming. Maverick ultimately opened Memorial Day weekend in 2022 and made over $1.4 billion worldwide, and you’re now free to stream it in the comfort of your own home with a Paramount+ subscription .

Per this new report, Tom Cruise feels that The Flash will also be an important movie for theaters this summer, which is hardly surprising considering what was teased in The Flash trailer last month . And Cruise certainly isn’t alone being one of the lucky few who saw The Flash early and enjoyed it, as the movie was said to be “extraordinarily well received” in test screenings last year . Warner Bros. also allegedly believes that The Flash could be as big a hit as The Dark Knight was for the studio in the summer of 2008.

The world at large will be able to see how The Flash turned out when it races into theaters on June 16. Meanwhile, you can stream Ezra Miller ’s previous appearances as Barry Allen in the DC Extended Universe with an HBO Max subscription .

All it takes is a glowing review from Tom Cruise to convince ‘The Flash’ skeptics a top-tier blockbuster is on the horizon

It doesn’t matter how much you love the medium of cinema, you don’t stand a chance of loving it as much as Tom Cruise . The man lives, breathes, eats, and sleeps movies, so much so that he goes out of his way to see as many films as possible either in his home theater or with the general public while wearing a disguise. Sadly, though, his thought on Morbius have not been made public .

However, the Mission: Impossible star has seen The Flash , and he can’t stop raving about it. When you’re a name on the caliber of Cruise, special perks come with it, and one of the most recent saw the 60 year-old land an advance screening of the DCU blockbuster after a meeting with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav.

The executive mentioned that The Flash was shaping up to be phenomenal, so Cruise simply asked to see it, which led to a WB errand boy being dispatched to the actor’s palatial mansion in secret with a copy. Not only that, but the four-time Academy Award nominee was so impressed that he almost immediately called director Andy Muschietti to lavish his latest feature in praise.

Some doubters may not believe James Gunn if he calls The Flash one of the greatest comic book adaptations he’s ever seen , but when Tom Cruise says it’s “everything you want in a movie” and “the kind of movie we need right now,” you bet your ass people are going to sit up and take notice.

So Tom Cruise has seen the #flash movie and said he “loved it so much” and that it’s “everything you want in a movie” and “this is the kind of movie we need now.” Well ok then flash movie, you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention. Cruise isn’t even a particularly noted supporter of the spandex-clad genre , either, which arguably lends his words even more credence. If he loves The Flash , then there’s an exceedingly high chance that you will, too.

Tom Cruise has seen The Flash – and he's such a fan he cold-called the director

Tom Cruise reached out to Andy Muschietti to praise The Flash

Ezra Miller in The Flash

Tom Cruise has not only seen The Flash, but he's such a fan he cold-called director Andy Muschietti to share the love, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

Per the publication's sources, Cruise asked Warner Bros. Discovery boss David Zaslav if he could see the film, after the CEO mentioned how good the movie is in a meeting that took place in late February. The film was then taken directly to Cruise's home, accompanied by an employee for Warner Bros., who then spirited it away again when Cruise was finished.

The actor was so blown away by the movie that he called Muschietti directly to sing its praises. The Hollywood Reporter claims Cruise said something along the lines of The Flash is "everything you want in a movie" and "this is the kind of movie we need now." There's no word on how Muschietti responded, but it seems safe to assume he was pleased.

The Flash stars Ezra Miller as the titular speedster, who accidentally breaks the timeline after going back to prevent his mother's death. That leads to a world without superheroes, just in time for Michael Shannon's General Zod – returning from Man of Steel – to arrive on Earth. Without Superman to stop him, Barry Allen must seek the help of a retired Batman (Michael Keaton, back for the first time since Batman Returns) and help free Supergirl (Sasha Calle) from captivity. Ben Affleck also co-stars as his version of Batman.

Cruise, meanwhile, has a reputation as a passionate defender of cinema and the theatrical experience. Steven Spielberg was recently caught on camera telling the actor he'd "saved Hollywood's ass" with the theatrical release of Top Gun: Maverick , which was ultimately nominated for Best Picture at the 2023 Oscars .

The Flash releases on June 16, 2023. In the meantime, check out our guide to all the upcoming DC movies and TV shows , as well as our roundup of projects coming soon as part of the new DCU Chapter One: Gods and Monsters slate.

"Crazy How Modern This Feels": One Of First-Ever Disaster Movies Leaves VFX Artists Floored Almost 100 Years Later

Emma stone's divisive black comedy becomes streaming success following disappointing box office, pixar allegedly made inside out 2's riley "less gay" in response to disney blaming lightyear's failure on same-sex kiss.

Early reactions to The Flash are describing the upcoming DC Universe film as one of the best superhero movies ever made, and even some Hollywood celebrities have praised the upcoming DC Universe tentpole. After several years in the making, The Flash movie is finally heading to screens. While The Flash ’s reviews have yet to drop, early social media reactions to the upcoming DC film are praising it for combining action pieces with character moments on a massive scale, with some even comparing it to DC classics such as The Dark Knight .How The Flash movie would be promoted following Ezra Miller’s behind-the-scenes controversies and the announcement of a new DC Universe remained to be seen. However, the studio appears to be extremely confident in The Flash . For example, The Flash was screened at CinemaCon 2023, a month and a half before the film premiered. The Flash is also having early fan screenings, not to mention how several Hollywood stars and creators have gotten a chance to watch the upcoming DC film early. Here is a breakdown of celebrities who have praised The Flash movie.

5 Tom Cruise

“ Tom Cruise reviews The Flash movie ” is a surprising sentence, but it happened. According to THR , Cruise got interested in The Flash after a meeting with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and asked if he could watch the film. As a result, a private The Flash screening was reportedly hosted at Tom Cruise’s home. According to the report, Cruise loved The Flash and reached out to director Andy Muschietti to share his thoughts on the movie. Tom Cruise reportedly described The Flash as “ the kind of movie we need now, ” noting that it has “everything you want in a movie.”

As a big advocate of the movie-going experience, it makes sense for Tom Cruise to be interested in a film like The Flash . At a time when the global box office is still trying to return to a sense of normality following the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, movie theaters need big tentpole films whose scale asks for audiences to see them on the big screen. Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick succeeded on that matter and went on to gross $1.49 billion at the box office, essentially “bringing movies back.” Whether The Flash movie can achieve something similar remains to be seen, but Cruise’s praise for the film is very promising.

4 Stephen King

Stephen King often reviews all sorts of works of fiction on his social media, including novels, movies, and TV shows of all genres. However, King rarely reviews or even comments on any superhero movies, which makes his praise for The Flash even bigger news. On May 17, Stephen King reviewed The Flash movie on his Twitter account, revealing that he got an advanced screening. King noted that he usually does not “care a lot about superhero movies,” but that The Flash “is special.” According to Stephen King, The Flash is “heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping.” DC Studios’ co-CEO James Gunn also replied to King’s post, celebrating the writer’s review of the film.

3 Jaden Smith

Jaden Smith’s review of The Flash on Twitter was short, but it might have been the most hype-worthy comment on the upcoming DC movie. “The Flash just changed my life,” wrote the actor and musician on his Twitter page. Jaden Smith also praised The Flash on his Instagram, describing the movie as “amazing” and pointing out that the DC film left him lost for words. Jaden Smith is a comic book fan, which makes his review of The Flash sound even more promising.

2 Terry Crews

Terry Crews is the latest actor to review The Flash movie. On his Instagram page, Crews revealed that he and his family watched The Flash at an early screening and that the film left all of them with a smile on their faces. According to Terry Crews, who is a comic book fan and was part of Deadpool 2’ s X-Force, audiences “have to go see” The Flash .

1 Edgar Wright

Director Edgar Wright has also watched and reviewed The Flash movie. Wright, whose name is often associated with superhero projects but who never directed a DC or Marvel movie, watched The Flash along with his long-time collaborator Paul Machliss, who edited The Flash movie.

Machliss had previously worked with Edgar Wright in Spaced , S cott Pilgrim vs. the World , The World's End , Baby Driver , and Last Night in Soho . According to Wright, The Flash is “a total blast” and will live “a big grin on audiences' faces.” Wright also congratulated The Flash director Andy Muschietti and producer Barbara Muschietti, promising that he will go watch it again. Lastly, Edgar Wright urged audiences to avoid spoilers, hinting at a "lot of fun surprises" that are not in any of The Flash trailers.

Ohne Gage: Tom Cruise glänzte kostenlos bei Olympia-Stunts

17.09.24, 09:24 - Sandra Janke
