No frills. Not much customer service but do you really need that? Good rate, efficient, and no lines. In and out in 5 minutes.

Really easy and quick service. You walk in, they buzz you in the second door, you tell them how much you want to exchange, they give you pretty good exchange rate, and then you leave happily and ready to spend your newfound Canadian in Chinatown! :D

If I can give Kingmark Currency exchange in Richmond no stars I would. I went in asking to exchange money for Cuba. Dennis, the rep there in his ignorance, sold me Mexican Peso. Not knowing better, I took this useless currency to Cuba with me. It cost me money to exchange money there using my credit card and when I came back to tell them what happened, the service rep there would only offer to buy it back at its current rate, costing me more money for their mistake. I'm really disappointed that this company would not be accountable to their errors, due to 'policy'. I believe it's 'policy' for them to know what they're doing but they didn't live up to that and I paid for their lack of knowledge in their own field. Don't go to them. They don't deserve your business. Bad customer service.

This has been a go-to exchange of mine ever since I needed to change the great HK dollar.. and more recently the RMB, it is a place I have known for a long time before they started branching out and having other locations. The rates here for the currencies I usually need to trade for are a way better rate than those at the bank, and also this place is open on Sunday, which most banks cannot say for themselves... (yet!). Sure this place is located at Yaohan Mall, and it can be a battle to even get your car in the parkade, let alone the other battle of parking it, but rest assured at least you do not have to enter the shopping centre, the entrance to this place is on the outside When you first go through the main doors, you end up in a caged area, wait till they see you, then you hear the buzzer where the next access gate opens. This place is like any place you have changed money, high security for the workers here, talking behind a glass panel, but the times I have been here.. they are friendly, it also feels like I always speak Cantonese in here. Anyhow just know the rules of changing currency, if you are doing over $1000... ID please, it's the law, also they take debit here if you need to change more monies! Very clean transaction, with the receipt printed out in nice big bold letters showing what currency you are exchanging, the rate, and the final output, in and out pretty quick... unless your in was that nasty parking lot... but I won't use that to discourage me from coming here to change the $$$ when I am in Richmond.

Anytime I come to Vancouver, this is the only place I come to exchange my USD. The rates are competitive, there are no transaction fees, and the service is always prompt and courteous.

Amazing service and the rates are always great! Been coming for years and not once have I left without a smile on my face! The staff are friendly and they have "special" rates if you exchange large amounts of USD/CAD! Highly recommended.

This currency exchange is quite competitive. But some factors make it difficult to give it a 5 star rating. First of all, are you willing to brave the infamous Yaohan parking lot? Who knows when you car will be pushed into the building by an SUV backing up. They also seem to run out of currency before closing. When you've finally found a spot to park and go inside, they tell you they have no more Japanese yen. Which was my case more than once. Running out of a major currency during business hours is a bit of a hassle. Be sure to call ahead of time and check.
