I took a pilgrimage tour of Sicily, Loreto, Sorento/Amalfi and Rome. Tour guide (Luca Maglietta) was extremely organized, helpful, patient and knowlegeable. He was a great problem solver. Was able to herd the 43 "cats" that were in our party. We had knowlegeable "specialist" tour guides in each of the areas that we visited (Pompeii, Vatican, Taromina, ...) who were also great. Busses were new and clean. The drivers knew their stuff winding through he narrow roads of Sicily. The 206 office staff was easy to book with and work with. My online interactions regarding booking and invoicing were also seemless. I would recommend 206 to anyone looking to book a pilgrimage tour.

Our tour a the The Temple of Juno in Agrigento, Sicily.

Just returned from Greek tour (In the Footsteps of St. Paul). Not generally a tour person, but this exceeded my expectations. Eleni was an amazing tour director: knowledgeable, personable and amazing attention to detail. Particularly pleased with the spiritual aspect. We will use 206 in future.

Its been a couple of weeks since we arrived from Medugojre. Returning from a trip like this and after living such an amazing spiritual experience, writing a negative review becomes awkard. Our experience with the Pilmigrage was excellent as we were blessed to be in a group that included a Priest, a beautiful soprano and tenor who sang at each of the group masses. It was the perfect touch, beside having a tour guide with whom the group bonded perfectly. We still stay in touch with him. Our problem was with the staff of 206 Tours. In March 2023, we contacted 206 Tours and asked if my husband needed a Visa and was told he did not. A second call was made in April where I and the person who invited us to the pilmigrage was on the line too. She heard me asking if my husband who is a Resident (Green card) needed a Visa and was answered, he did not. In June, I finalized the full payment for both of us. Towards the end of July, my husband told me to call again because he taught he needs to have a Visa. I told him I had asked twice and the answer was no. To relief the stress he had, I called again and spoke with the staff who told me this time that I needed to call the Embassy of the country of origin of my husband. I quickly called and was told I had to call the Embassy of the traveling country--Bosnia. I call right away and was informed that YES my husband needed a Visa. To get the Visa we had to travel to Washington DC or New York to apply in person and that the Visa process takes 90 days. The Embassy even suggest for us to travel via Croatia which did not required a Visa. I called back 206 Tours and told the staff the information I received. We were unable to travel to Washington DC or NY. I informed her that the Bosnia Embassy suggested if I travel via Croatia my husband did not needed a Visa. The reply I got was that she was going to see if she could get us a flight to Croatia. I waited two days and called back 206 Tours as I did not hear from her. She informed me that the flight was coming in late and I became worried as to who will be waiting for us. Apparently no one, we were on our own. All of the sudden, I received an email from her tell me what I told her on the phone and now all communication had to be via email. A week went by without no resolution, so my husband told me for me to go along with the rest of the family that he would stay. Being this was the only solution, I call 206 Tours to cancel. I was told that the $400 deposit was not going to be refunded and that 25% of the payment made was not going to be refunded. I informed this before the 61 days per the refund policy. I was only refunded $1549.25 and had to wait over a month. I felt this was the miscommunication and the lack of information or knowledge. I am a business owner, and for me client satisfaction is big. I felt I was treated without compassion, and like oh we messed up, lets ignore this so that it would go away. Thanks to God money for us is not an issue...neverthless the full refund minus the $400 would have been appreciated it as this was not our fault.. it was because of the misinformation which was provided to us. I was upset and prayed on this. I am writing this review not to hurt anyone, but rather to let other people know my experience, as this is alot of money, that many people work hard to put together to make this pilmigrage. I know that effective Jan 2024 every one traveling to Europe will need a Visa as it is now required. This lack of information cost us $1549.25. I've made believe this was a donation or charity made. Please verify all information if traveling this year with 206 Tours, as the staff will be nice at the beginning and then when something goes wrong, they will not talk to you. We also had the problem that we were a family of 14 and requested from the beginning to be seated closed by in the flight. This did not happen, we were all scattered through the plane. There is not much you can do until 206 Tours releases the flight to the airline and by then the flight is full. My daughter had called to get some information regarding the hotel, and we are still waiting for the return call.

Dear Erlyn we are happy that you enjoyed your pilgrimage and that it has had such a profound impact on our own heart! I am deeply saddened by any frustration caused regarding obtaining a visa for your husband, in our terms and conditions which you acknowledged we noted that we cannot take responsibility for any travel documents. However, we waived rule as I felt bad and I absorbed costs and sent you a check for full refund, which you have yet to cash? We sent you an email and I personally called and left you a voicemail which you have yet to return. Needless to say I am puzzled with your review and pray that you would give me a call to resolve your problem. God bless, Milanka President and Founder

Amazing Holy Land Tour. My wife and I had been on a Fatima & Lourdes tour previously. Both were very well done. Excellent guides. Daily mass. I highly recommend 206.

I recently returned from our pilgrimage trip to Jordan, Israel and Oberammergau, Germany. Everything went terrific during our travel in Jordan, and the Holy Lands and while in Oberammergau, Germany to watch the live Passion Play. On our departure to return back to the United States we were staying for the night in Munich. As a requirement on returning to the U.S. a negative PCR test was needed and it turned out that there were few of us were positive. Worried of being stranded in Germany for several days we were constantly looking for ways of how to get out of Germany and to return to the U.S. Everyday we were being checked and monitored and Javier who was assigned to be our contact person, was always calling us to see if we needed anything as they ( 206tours) were trying to figure out how to get us out of the country. Finally, the time came when we have to fly to another European country to catch a flight to Toronto to connect another flight for Detroit from Buffalo, New York then Seattle. During that time of waiting, Milanka and Javier were very supportive and very efficient and have done a terrific job of arranging our flights for the 4 of us to return home ,however, they made it to make a flight reservation for the four of us, was absolutely amazing. In a short period of time they've sent us our flight itineraries and the next thing we knew, we were at the airport and had flown out on time without any struggle or issues. I would highly recommend 206tours. They are so efficient, professional and their customer service is terrific.Thank you Milanka and Javier.God bless 206tours always. DaisyU.

I have just returned from the Classic Italy pilgrimage. This was my first pilgrimage with any company, but many in our group had traveled with 206 before. As this was a pilgrimage, we enjoyed the company of Fr Jay Harrington, OP, as our spiritual director. His care for each pilgrim was beyond expectation, and his preaching was inspiring and personal. I was completely surprised at the locations that were arranged for our daily masses. We had mass in a crypt chapel below the floor of St Peters, for example. Every mass was in a special location that radiated with centuries of love and devotion. Accommodations were top of the line. Food was carefully chosen, and provisions were made for special diets. My friend had a small medical issue that our guide resolved as soon as we alerted her, and she continued to check in about it every day. The brochure does mention that each day will include walking, but we were astonished that we averaged 3.5 miles a day and there were lots of stairs. It was good for our bodies, but way more than I expected and a little hard on our older or less healthy pilgrims. Our guide Federica is the best! She was a mother hen whom we all fell in love with. Amos kept us safe and well-hydrated in the bus. The local guides were mostly excellent-Mateo, Luciana, and, of course, Tiziana, dahlinks!

We just returned from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land followed by a short add-on trip to Rome with our parish priest. It was our first trip abroad and we had some concerns. 206 was amazing!! They got us around without delays. When our 206 bus developed a water hose leak while in Samaria, part of the West Bank and couldn't send another bus while at lunch and touring our outstanding driver, Housein, was able to figure out a way to limp it back to Jerusalem using the many cases of bottled water that were there for us with minimum delay. Our guide, Jack was phenomenal! His knowledge of ancient history, BC and AD as well as being a Scholar of the Bible and church teaching was incredible!! His knowledge of local vendors, restaurants and sites that are generally overlooked was also very incredible! Our expectations were exceeded on every aspect of our trip. 206 guide in Rome and the Vatican guide provided us with an equally awesome visit. Our hotel was within a very short walk to the Vatican. Our first morning was a Papal Audience! It was transferred indoors due to extreme cold. Because of the awesome scheduling we were able to sit in seats along the procession and recession aisle and many in our group were able to shake hands with Pope Francis!! We never had to wait in long lines. We saw much more and our daily masses were held in very special chapels in St Peter's Basilica at the tomb of St John Paul II and at St Anne's Church and St. Paul's Basilica in the chapel of St Stephen. Our 206 guides and Vatican guide were beautiful people and provided the most outstanding service!!

We just returned from our second pilgrimage with 206 Tours; this one to the holy saints and sites of France, Spain and Portugal. It was also our second tour with Vanessa as our guide. She is absolutely fantastic! We had 30 college students with us and Vanessa was the perfect blend of big sister, mother and friend. The kids adored her! We've used other companies in the past and will now only use 206 and Vanessa going forward. With the other companies, I felt like I had to look after them to make sure they didn't change things on us or remove visits at the last minute. I felt that way because both companies did that to our group. After submitting our itinerary for bidding and selecting them, the great service stopped and they provided the minimal accommodation's to meet our requirements. As soon as they had our business, they did the bare minimum. One company made changes without telling me after bidding and receiving our business. That's where 206 stands out. Their service is top notch from start to finish and if 206 had to make any changes, which happens with hotels and such, they have always upgraded us. 206 always exceeded our expectations and dealing with them has always been a pleasure. I can't say enough good things about them. When our last pilgrimage was cancelled due to COVID in the spring of 2020, 206 worked with us and made sure every pilgrim was totally satisfied with their individual outcomes. After cancelling again in 2021 and again in early 2022, 206 helped us make our May pilgrimage a reality as soon as COVID mandates lifted in Europe, even though it was only 6 weeks before travel. 206 crushed it. I couldn't imagine organizing a pilgrimage for 30 college students in that short of a time frame with any company other than 206. In addition to our two time guide Vanessa, we loved our bus driver Melchor Martin who was fantastic! He was a great driver and he took time to get to know our kids and interact with them. Everyone loved Vanessa and Melchor! I strongly recommend 206 Tours for any pilgrimage you plan!

Hat's Off to 206Tours

After much research by my children, we decided on 206 Tours #47 European Pilgrimage Oct. 16 - 28th 2022. I am 84 and we (3 adult children and myself) were hesitant about my being able to keep up. Though the trip was certainly challenging walking 2-3 miles daily, all was well. Our accommodations were excellent (bus rides, hotels, meals etc.). We knew the details of each day's Itinerary well in advance enabling up to prepare properly. Our guide, Leo, was available at all times, his directions were precise, he was truly knowledgeable, and always sure any needs we might have were met. This trip was truly "the best trip of my lifetime". Each day was full of beauty and adventure. Anne Houghton

Spectacular trip to The Holy Land - trip of Lifetime

We returned from a 10 day trip to the Holy Land and 206 Tours handled it fantastically! They are the Industry Standard!! Our tour guide, Giovanni, was knowledgeable, funny, caring, helpful, and flexible. Our hotels in Tel Aviv, Magdala and Jerusalem were beautiful, clean and close to all the sights. Our meals were so delicious. Our side excusions were varied and exciting: from riding camels to floating on the Dead Sea to being baptized again in the Jordan to walking the Via Dolorosa at dawn with high Holy Mass at the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, the holiest place on earth. Daily Mass and the fellowship of other Catholics made this a truly memorable and spectacular once in a lifetime memory. Thank you 206 Tours!!!

Day 1: Depart for Rome

Make your way to your local airport, where you will board your overnight flight(s). Your meals will be served on board.

Day 2: Arrival in Rome

Welcome to Rome, also known as, “The Eternal City”. Upon arrival at Rome airport, collect your luggage in the baggage claim area, and continue to the Arrivals Hall, where you will be greeted by a tour escort and/or driver. You will make your way to the bus and transfer to your hotel. Following check-in, you will have free time to unpack and relax, or explore Rome on your own. Your tour escort may suggest places to visit. Later in the afternoon, your group will meet in the hotel lobby for a “Meet and Greet” with your fellow pilgrims and depart for Mass. Following Mass, you will attend a welcome dinner. After dinner, you will have the opportunity to walk to St. Peter’s Square as a group, for the Rosary (optional).

Day 3: Rome: Papal Audience - Trevi Fountain – Pantheon - Basilica of St. John the Lateran – Holy Stairs - Basilica of St. Mary Major

This morning we attend the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square or at the Audience Hall. The Audience is celebrated each Wednesday by His Holiness, Pope Francis (pending the papal schedule). Next Trevi Fountain area for some free time and lunch (on own). This afternoon, visit the oldest of the four major Basilicas in Rome, the Archbasilica of St. John the Lateran, the cathedral church and seat of the Bishop of Rome. Cross the street to the very steps that lead up to the praetorium of Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem which Jesus climbed on His way to trial during his Passion. Holy Mass will be celebrated by our priest at the Basilica of St. Mary Major, dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. This Basilica contains a relic from the manger of the infant Jesus. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Rome: St. Peter's Basilica - Vatican Museum - Appian Way - Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls - Catacombs

Today we tour St. Peter’s Basilica, built on the site where St. Peter the Apostle was martyred. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to view Michelangelo’s Pieta sculpture, pray at the tombs of Pope Benedict XVI and St. John Paul II. Next you will visit the Vatican Museum, where you can see the Tapestry Gallery, Raphael Rooms, and Sistine Chapel. After lunch, continue down the Appian Way, one of the earliest roads built in ancient Rome to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and the Catacombs. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 5: Rome – Pantheon – Colosseum – Roman Forum

This morning after breakfast we will celebrate Mass. Following Mass we will visit the Pantheon, an ancient Roman building, that is renowned for its large concrete dome.  After lunch,  visit the Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, was built in the first century AD and was the largest amphitheater in the Roman Empire. Christians were often persecuted in the Roman Empire, and many of them were martyred in the Colosseum. Some of the most famous Christian martyrs who died in the Colosseum include Saint Ignatius of Antioch, Saint Polycarp, and Saint Perpetua and Saint Felicitas. The Colosseum is a reminder of the persecution that early Christians faced, and it is also a symbol of their faith and courage. The Roman Forum was the heart of ancient Rome, and it was the site of many important government buildings, temples, and shops. It was also the place where public meetings were held and where the laws were debated and passed. The Roman Forum was a busy and bustling place. It was home to a wide variety of people, from wealthy aristocrats to poor laborers, and it was a place where people from all walks of life came together. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Rome – Orvieto – Bolsena - Assisi

We leave Rome and travel North through the Umbrian Hills to Orvieto. This incredible town sits on a volcanic high rock formation. Here we visit one of the most beautiful and most renowned Cathedrals in Italy. Because of its strategic location, it’s Christian history officially started in 1004, but, Orvieto was built over preexisting Etruscan era cave tunnels dating back 2,500 years, which some historians believe Christians used to celebrate Mass when Christianity was forbidden.  Next we visit nearby town of Bolsena and Cathedral housing the corporeal of the Miracle of the Eucharist which took place in 1262. Here we celebrate Mass. Continue to Assisi he hometown of St. Francis and St. Clare. Upon arriving check-in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight. Retire to your room for a restful night’s sleep.

Day 7: Assisi – Bevagna – Assisi

After breakfast, travel to Bevagna, a charming town in the heart of Umbria. Bevagna is not only a treasure of historical and artistic gems, but also a place of profound religious significance. Its rich Catholic heritage is evident in its numerous churches, monasteries, and religious institutions, each bearing witness to the town’s deep-rooted faith and devotion. Visit the Church of San Francesco which is located in Bevagna’s historic center. The Church of San Francesco is a haven for Franciscan spirituality. It’s simple yet elegant architecture reflects the Franciscan Order’s values of humility and simplicity. Inside, the church houses a beautiful fresco depicting the life of Saint Francis of Assisi. Continue to the Monastery of San Silvestro, on a hilltop overlooking Bevagna. The Monastery of San Silvestro offers a tranquil retreat for those seeking spiritual solace. Founded in the 13th century, the monastery has been a center of religious life for centuries. Its serene atmosphere and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside provide an ideal setting for contemplation and prayer. After lunch visit the Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie. This is a beloved pilgrimage site for Catholics in the region. The sanctuary, dating back to the 15th century, is home to a venerated statue of the Virgin Mary, believed to possess miraculous powers. Visitors come from far and wide to seek blessings and pray for intercession. Return to Assisi for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Assisi (St. Francis)

As you visit the birthplace of St. Francis, you will become captivated as the atmosphere has not changed since St. Francis began his ministry, in the early 13th-century. You will start your tour at the St. Francis Basilica, visit his tomb of St. Francis, and have the opportunity to view a series of frescoes depicting his life, along with a few of the saint’s possessions. Followed by a visit to the Santuario Della Spogliazione where Blessed Carlo Acutis’ tomb is placed. Carlo is the first millennial to be declared Blessed who loved the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. From there, you will continue on a walking tour through this picturesque town, including the birthplace of St. Francis, and end with a tour of the Church that honors St. Clare, the foundress of the Poor Clare Sisters. This Saint followed the teachings of St. Francis very closely by also living a life of poverty and humility. Enjoy some free time on your own – you may take this time for additional prayer, shop in the many gift shops or enjoy a nice lunch. After lunch, you will board the bus, which will take you outside of the walls of Assisi, to the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. This is where St. Francis spent most of life. This Basilica is made up of two structures, both of which you will visit. The first structure, is the “Porziuncola”, which is where St. Francis founded his order of the Friar Minor (Franciscans). The second, is the “Capella del Transito”, which is the place of St. Francis’ death. During your time here, you will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Rose Garden where St. Francis and other friars lived, as well as the cave where the Saint retired to pray. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight.

Day 9: Assisi - Gubbio - La Verna - Assisi

After breakfast, you will drive through the beautiful Umbrian mountains to Gubbio. Enjoy this medieval town with a visit of St. Francis Church, where you will be celebrating Mass. After Mass, visit a town that seems painted onto the hill, a succession of backdrops against which towers and houses stand out, all embraced by walls. The town had been freed by St. Francis from a terrible and fierce wolf who afflicted it. After lunch on your own, continue to La Verna, the place where St. Francis, over the years, had been seven times, the last time in 1224 where he received the stigmata. Here you will be able to pray in the Chapel of the Stigmata, the Basilica and the Chapel of Saint Mary of the Angels. You will also be able to admire the beautiful artworks of Andrea della Robbia. Return to Assisi for dinner and your last overnight.

Day 10: Return Home

After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, your group will leave by motor coach and transfer to the Rome Fiumicino airport for return flights home.

By the numbers: Statistics confirm Scottie Scheffler's historical dominance

Change Text Size

Is impending fatherhood the only thing stopping Scottie Scheffler? Quite possibly.

His historic run continued Monday when he completed his victory at the RBC Heritage. It was his fourth win in his past five starts, a run that also included victories at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, THE PLAYERS Championship and the Masters. The only exception was a runner-up finish at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, where he missed a 6-footer to join Stephan Jaeger in a playoff.

Scottie Scheffler’s Round 4 highlights From RBC Heritage

Scheffler has seemed invincible lately, and the statistics confirm that. Here’s a closer look at some of the key stats that put Scheffler’s historic play into perspective:

  • By winning at Harbour Town Golf Links, Scheffler became the first player since Bernhard Langer in 1985 to win the RBC Heritage one week after winning the Masters .
  • Scheffler is the first player since Tiger Woods in 2006 to win the week after winning a major .
  • With four wins and a runner-up in his past five starts, Scheffler is the first player since Woods in 2007-08 to have five consecutive top-two finishes . Vijay Singh is the only other player to have such a run in the past 30 years (2004).
  • This was Scheffler’s 10th PGA TOUR victory, coming in just his 51st start since he earned his first win at the 2022 WM Phoenix Open. Only David Duval has needed fewer starts after his first win to reach victory No. 10. Duval did it in 33 starts. Tiger Woods is third on the list with 59 starts.
  • In his 51 starts since the 2022 WM Phoenix Open, Scheffler also has 23 top-three finishes (45%) and 35 top-10s (68.6%).
  • All 10 of Scheffler’s wins have come since the start of the 2021-22 season. He is the first player to win 10 (or more) times on the PGA TOUR in the span of three seasons since Dustin Johnson won 10 titles between 2015-16 and 2017-18.
  • This is Scheffler’s fourth win of the season, matching his career-high from 2022. He is the fourth player with multiple four-win seasons since the start of 2000 , joining Woods (10), Singh, (3) and Phil Mickelson (2).
  • Scheffler has now recorded 40 consecutive TOUR rounds at par or better , a streak that began in the final round of the 2023 TOUR Championship. He’s 12 back of Woods’ all-time TOUR mark of 52 straight rounds at par or better (set across 2000-01).
  • In each of Scheffler’s last seven victories, eight or more of the top 10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking have been in the field . His most recent run of four wins in five starts has included two Signature Events (Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, RBC Heritage), THE PLAYERS and the Masters.
  • Scheffler is averaging 5.38 birdies per round this season, on pace to set the all-time TOUR record for single-season birdie average (since the statistic was first tracked in 1980) . Woods set the current record (4.92) in 2020.
  • In his 39 rounds this season, he has outperformed the field average 35 times . He’s been at least a shot better than the field 30 times, at least two shots better 26 times and at least three shots better 19 times.
  • Scheffler leads the TOUR in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green by nearly a shot per round this season , after finishing atop the category by more than two-thirds of a stroke per round last season. No player had previously led the category by more than four-tenths of a stroke per round since Woods in 2009.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Grace Kim opened a four-stroke lead Friday in the LPGA Tour’s JM Eagle LA Championship, shooting a 5-under 66 in tricky afternoon conditions at Wilshire Country Club.

A stroke ahead after an opening 64, Kim had an eagle, four birdies and a bogey to get to 12-under 130. The 23-year-old Australian patiently worked her way around the tree-lined layup, trying not to get frustrated with the bumpy greens.

“I think the less thoughts, the better,” Kim said. “Obviously, during the afternoon round today, we’ve got poa annua greens so just have to stay patient with them. You can kind of see how it can get bumpy, so working with the course and not getting too wrapped up around putts not going in.”

Maja Stark was second after a 69, also in the afternoon.

“I feel like maybe not taking everything so personal because they are a little bit wobbly.” Stark said. “Especially late. Like the whole day pretty much the ball has been wobbling because there has been so many people walking on it.”

The Swede finished second last week in Texas in The Chevron Championship, two strokes behind top-ranked Nelly Korda in the first major of the year. Korda withdrew Monday, a day after her record-tying fifth straight victory.

Defending champion Hannah Green of Australia shot a 69 to join Germany’s Esther Henseleit (68) at 6 under. Denmark’s Kristine Pedersen (67) and American Auston Kim (71) were 5 under, and Rose Zhang (69) topped the group at 4 under.

Grace Kim won the LOTTE Championship last year in a playoff in Hawaii for her first LPGA Tour title. She missed the cut in The Chevron , shooting 76-72.

She started play Friday on the back nine, rebounding from a bogey on the par-3 12th with the eagle on the par-5 13th and a birdie on the par-4 14th. On 13, she hit a 5-wood to 10 feet. She added birdies on Nos. 3, 6 and 7 on the second nine.

“I think I’ve got to breathe a little bit,” she said. “I did get a little bit nervous on my back nine, so making sure I don’t rush too much and just staying in the present.”
