Drake is coming. The rapper added 12 new dates to his It’s All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, his first stretch of shows in North America since the “Aubrey & the Three Migos” tour hit arenas in 2018.

The It’s All a Blur tour will kick off in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 29 and extend through Oct. 7 with a final show in Toronto, Ontario. Drake will make stops in Nashville, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, New York, Brooklyn, Montreal, Inglewood, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and more, bringing the tour to a massive 54 shows this summer.

The new set of dates includes a fourth night of shows in both Inglewood and Brooklyn, as well as second nights in Glendale and Nashville. Drake will now also perform on new dates in Columbus, Memphis, Denver, Austin, Milwaukee, and Charlotte. The tour will close out with back-to-back hometown shows at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

The tour announcement follows the reveal of J.Cole’s 2023 Dreamville Festival lineup, which features Drake as a headliner. Since his last tour, Drake has released two mixtapes – Care Package and Dark Lane Demo Tapes – and three studio albums, including 2021’s Certified Lover Boy , the 21 Savage-assisted Her Loss , and his dance music opus Honestly, Nevermind.

Drake’s “It Was All a Blur” tour will make a two-day stop in Charlotte this weekend at Spectrum Center.

Shows start at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23

Preparing for the show

Getting to the show.

DRIVE / PARK Streets nearest the stadium are likely to be crowded before and during the concert, but there are plenty of parking lots and decks within walking distance of Spectrum Center.

Free parking will be very difficult to find, but concertgoers can book street parking ahead through the Spectrum Cneter’s options on the Park Mobile App .

Paid parking closest to Spectrum Center include Hyatt House valet garage at 435 E Trade Street, the parking lot behind Midnight Diner at the corner of Caldwell Street and Trade Street, an open parking lot at the same corner (diagonal from Midnight Diner), an open lot at Caldwell Street and Sixth Street, the parking deck at SpringHill Suites — 311 E. Fifth Street– and inside the deck at Queen City Quarter (formerly the EpiCentre), among others.

Concertgoers can expect to pay anywhere from $5 to upwards of $50 for the special event.

Rideshare like Uber, Lyft and other dropoff options like Joy Rides are available throughout hte weekend.

LIGHTRAIL / PARK & RIDE Charlotte’s light rail, LYNX, has more than 25 stops between UNC Charlotte and Pineville. There are eleven parking options along the route, most of which are free, and allow guests to park their cars before riding. Rides on the light rail are $2.20 per person.

The Charlotte Transportation Center stop is at Spectrum Center and will put guests within a few feet of the entrance.

Other nearby LYNX stops to the stadium are the Convention Center and Seventh Street stations.

Box office, opening time, show start

If you’re planning to purchase last minute tickets, the box office opens at 9:00 a.m.

Resale tickets are available on Ticketmaster and through Gametime.

The show is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. with doors opening 6:30 p.m.

Stadium rules to know about

MOBILE TICKETS ONLY Mobile tickets are required for “all tickets” to Spectrum Center events. According to their website, guests can be access mobile tickets through the Hornets + Spectrum Center App by clicking the “My Tickets” button. The button will then direct guests to log into their Ticketmaster or My Hornets accounts.

For easy access, please have your ticket barcode up on your screen before you reach the entrance of Spectrum Center.

MAIN ENTRANCES OPEN All main entrances at Spectrum Center will be open for the show. Be advised, some entrances may be open only for suite holders.

BAG SIZING & OTHER POLICIES

According to its website, Spectrum Center has a no bag policy it implemented to reduce wait times for entrance. The venue encourages people not to bring bags, but does make an exception for bags smaller than 10”X10”X4”.

Other typical  venue policies  are likely to remain in place for the concert.

Be sure to  double-check the requirements  before heading to the concert.

Where to eat nearby

To prepare for the show, get all the energy you’ll need with a nice meal. Reservations will be tough at this point, but there are lots of area restaurants in walking — or a short rideshare or light rail ride — distance of the stadium.

BOCAO SUSHI Located a few blocks from Uptown, in the Music Factory, Bocao Sushi has music, food, an impressive cocktail menu and a great vibe to help you pre-game for the concert. If you’re looking to avoid the Uptown parking craze, you can park near The Music Factory — it’ll cost per hour — and then use a ride share into Uptown and back after the concert.

SPORTS ONE If you’re looking for a good time alongside good fun, Sports One is the place. A few blocks walking distance — or a short light rail ride –from the Spectrum Center, at the edge Uptown, this restaurant has a full bar, comfort food-centered menu and sometimes a DJ. We recommend taking the light rail nearby, walking a lock to the restaurant and then walking — or taking a light rail stop up — to the concert.

MERT’S HEART & SOUL If you’re craving soul food, this place has it. From fried chicken and collard greens to homemade desserts and their staple sweet cornbread, Mert’s is an Uptown Charlotte favorite. We recommend parking at the Holiday Inn Uptown where Mer’s is connected, and then walking two blocks to the concert afterward.

MIDNIGHT DINER An Uptown staple, Midnight Diner is casual and is all-but-guaranteed to be a hotspot before and after the show. The 24-hour eatery offers comfort food, breakfast, cocktails and more. It’s also directly across the street from the Spectrum Center, but be warned: it’ll likely be packed.

Multi-platinum rapper Drake will play two nights in Charlotte at Spectrum Center with 21 Savage. The It’s All a Blur Tour was originally announced in March coming off their collaborative album, Her Loss , in 2022. Drake Adds North American Dates to 2023 Tour

Drake has expanded his It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Savage to include several new cities and a handful of extra nights for sold-out stops. He has also delayed the start of the tour, postponing shows in New Orleans, Nashville, Houston, Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta until late summer. New cities in the itinerary include Toronto, Columbus, Memphis, Denver, Austin, Milwaukee, and Charlotte. Find the tour schedule below.

Last month, Drake fans filed a class-action lawsuit again Ticketmaster , alleging that seat prices for the original run of shows were artificially inflated. Tickets for the tour are also being sold through Cash App .

Last year, Drake released both Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss , his collaborative LP with 21 Savage; Certified Lover Boy came out in 2021.

Drake adds Charlotte to 54-date North American tour

The tour kicks off June 29 in Memphis, Tenn. before wrapping its 54-date run in Toronto on Oct. 7.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Multiple Grammy-winning artist Drake is adding a Charlotte stop to his 2023 North American tour.

The “Hotline Bling” rapper announced Monday he’ll perform at the Spectrum Center on Friday, Sept. 22, as part of his “It’s All A Blur” tour.

Today, four time Grammy-award winning and multi-platinum selling artist  Drake  announced his long awaited return to the stage with the 2023  ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour  presented by Cash App, Visa and Sprite. Produced by Live Nation, Drake and 21 Savage will be going on a 29-date arena run with stops including Chicago, Boston, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up in Glendale, AZ at Desert Diamond Arena on Tuesday, September 5.

‘It’s All A Blur’ marks Drake’s return to touring since headlining Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour in 2018. The title, a celebration of the last decade,  sums up Drake’s sentiment of the unprecedented run as he gets ready to hit the road. In the last five years, Drake has released four albums, including his most recent studio album Her Loss in collaboration with 21 Savage, which reached number one on the Billboard’s 200 chart and had all 16 songs debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 list.

ABOUT DRAKE:

Drake is one of the most successful hip hop artists in the world. The Canadian rapper first gained serious attention in 2009 when he debuted his EP  So Far Gone , named the hottest mixtape of the year by MTV. Update : Drake is continuing to give his fans what they want. The artist announced on Friday (April 28) that he’s adding three more shows in addition to the dozen he had already tacked on to his It’s All a Blur tour earlier in the week due to fan demand. He has now added second shows to Columbus, Ohio (July 2); Austin (Sept. 12); and Charlotte, N.C., (Sept. 23).

The rapper also announced new dates in Columbus, Memphis, Denver, Austin and Charlotte, as well as announcing a new pair of back-to-back shows in his hometown of Toronto to close out the now 54-date tour at Scotiabank Arena on Oct. 5 and 7.

In the meantime, some dates have also shifted around. The New Orleans, Nashville, Houston, Dallas, Miami and Atlanta dates — which were originally slated to take place between June 16 and July 2 will be rescheduled to take place between Sept. 14 and Oct. 2.

The All a Blur tour is Drake’s first headline run since the 2018 Aubrey & the Three Migos tour. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale beginning with Cash App Card and Sprite presales beginning Wednesday (April 26) at 12 p.m. local time through 10 p.m. local time on Thursday (April 27) for Cash App and Thursday at 10 a.m. local time for the Sprite presale, which runs through 10 p.m. that day; click here for more presale information. Tickets for rescheduled dates will not be included in either presale or the general onsale.

Drake Announces 2023 North American Tour With 21 Savage. Yes, It Includes a Stop in DC

The it's all a blur tour will come to d.c.'s capital one arena in late july, published march 13, 2023 • updated on march 13, 2023 at 2:24 pm.

Four-time Grammy-winner Drake is teaming up with collaborator 21 Savage for a North American arena tour this year — including a stop in D.C.

The It’s All a Blur Tour will kick off June 16 in New Orleans and will visit cities such as Dallas, Miami, New York, Montreal, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. After performances at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and Manhattan's Madison Square Garden, the tour will head south for a performance July 28 at D.C.'s Capital One Arena.

Locations for additional shows, including Toronto, will be announced later.

The Canadian rapper-singer and Spotify’s most-streamed artist in the U.S. last year put out two albums in 2022, “Honestly, Nevermind” and his collaboration with 21 Savage, “Her Loss.” His last headlining tour was in 2018.

During a show at the famed Apollo Theater earlier this year, he  hinted at a tour  and possibly even more music on the horizon.

Several of the stops will be two-night stands, including those in Atlanta, Boston and New York.

Today, four time Grammy-award winning and multi-platinum selling artist Drake announced his long awaited return to the stage with the 2023 ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour presented by Cash App, Visa and Sprite. Produced by Live Nation, Drake and 21 Savage will be going on a 29-date arena run with stops including Chicago, Boston, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and more with a stop in Washington, D.C. at Capital One Arena on Friday, July 28, 2023.

‘It’s All A Blur’ marks Drake’s return to touring since headlining Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour in 2018. The title, a celebration of the last decade,  sums up Drake’s sentiment of the unprecedented run as he gets ready to hit the road. In the last five years, Drake has released four albums, including his most recent studio album Her Loss in collaboration with 21 Savage, which reached number one on the Billboard’s 200 chart and had all 16 songs debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 list.

TCU Football: Brent Matisik and Cooper McDonald Talk to Media

Brent Matisik and Cooper McDonald spoke with the media after Tuesday's fall practice. Matisik expects Kyle Lemmerman to be an integral part of the Frog offense this year, while McDonald explained how Josh Hoover makes the TCU defense better in certain ways.

One role that Matiscik took on this season was one that Jared Wiley held last year for the 2023 squad. That role is to bring the absolute best out of his teammates by pushing them to get better every day. The long snapper also mentioned that he believes in getting the team fired up before each practice.

Cooper McDonald transferred to TCU before the 2024 season for multiple reasons, namely, to be closer to family. The San Diego State linebacker told the media that defensive coordinator Andy Avalos has been utilizing McDonald in multiple positions in the TCU defense.

Grammy Award-winning rapper Drake bringing tour to Oklahoma in 2024

Four-time Grammy-award-winning and multi-platinum-selling artistDrake announced his 2024 "It’s All A Blur Tour - Big As The What?" U.S. tour that includes a stop in Oklahoma City.

The Canadian rapper-singer will perform Jan. 25, 2024, at Paycom Arena, joined by J. Cole.

Tickets will be available starting Wednesday with a Cash App Card presale, followed by the general on-sale beginning 11 a.m. Friday on drakerelated.com.
