NEWS: Eddie Vedder Announces Australian Tour

(AUSTRALIA) Chugg Entertainment are thrilled to confirm that Pearl Jam’s notorious lead singer, Eddie Vedder, will be embarking on a long-awaited solo tour this coming February. Vedder will return to the stage in solo mode for a string of extraordinarily special theatre shows; live and intimate.

The tour will begin with two dates at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Friday 7 th and Saturday 8 th February, Sydney’s State Theatre on Tuesday 11 th February and a performance at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday 13 th February, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Sunday 16 th and Tuesday 18 th February, and the QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane on Saturday 22 nd and Sunday 23 rd February.

Stepping out of his renowned role as the famed front-man of Pearl Jam has been more than well received by his Australian fans following the monumental response to his previous tour in early 2011.  When shows were announced, fans across the country erupted at the news and within hours of tickets going on sale to the public, more than ten theatre shows across the country were completely sold out leaving a plethora of fans empty handed and wanting more.

The staggering shows left fans and reviewers enthralled, with the Sydney Morning Herald citing of his State Theatre show that “he received ample love for his vulnerability” while “an adoring crowd hung off his every note.”

Following his last Australian tour, Vedder embarked on another chapter with the release of his second solo studio album, Ukulele Songs . Yet another critically acclaimed project described by Drowned In Sound as and album “brimming with integrity and enthusiasm and, most importantly, boasting great tunes.”

Bringing to the stage a swathe of songs from his solo records, as well as some Pearl Jam favourites, there can be no doubt that yet again, his Australian audience will stop in their tracks when Eddie Vedder takes the stage.  These enchanting shows are not to be missed.

Pearl Jam Have Officially Announced Their Aus Tour So Looks Like We’re Having A Summer Of Rock

Mates, I’m here to tell you that a summer of rock is upon us.

Pearl Jam — AKA, one of the most iconic and influential bands of the 90s, have announced three whopping stadium shows across the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney for November this year. Coming along for the ride to support on each date will be the magnificent Pixies , who last visited in December 2022.

The news is pretty dang monumental, given the last time the band visited Australia was during the final ever Big Day Out run in 2014. I don’t know about you, but ten years ago feels like a bloody lifetime ago.

Looking fresh, lads.

The band have been teasing a return to Oz for quite some time, but pretty much confirmed their return via a massive takeover of Bondi Beach on Sunday. They’ll also have a bunch of new material to play, as they’ve just dropped their brand new track Dark Matter , and have an album of the same name on the way. I’m sure their setlist will be chock-full of hits from the last 30 years too, so be prepared for many a sing-a-long.

Fans will need to register for a unique ticket code via Ticketmaster to secure their spot at a show, so we highly suggest setting an alarm (or ten) for Friday, 23rd of February. Registration opens at 11 am (local time) for Gold Coast and Melbourne residents, and then at 1pm for Sydney folks.

Honestly, standing in a packed stadium screaming my lungs out to Daughter is probably the only thing that could cure my fragile soul right now. If you’re a fan of literally any kind of rock music, these shows are not to be missed — Pearl Jam’s sound and spirit is pretty much present in every rock band of today, so you’ll be watching history unfold before your eyes.

Pearl Jam have added two new shows to their forthcoming stadium tour to meet overwhelming demand. 

They'll now play second shows in Melbourne on Monday 18 November and in Sydney on Saturday 23 November. Tickets are on sale now.

It's a hell of a time to be one of the many Australian fans of grunge icons Pearl Jam .

After months of speculation, the band has shared a brand-new single, confirmed they have a new album on the way, and locked in an Australian tour with some very special guests.

That's a lot to take in, so let's go through this one step at a time.

The band have just released 'Dark Matter', their first new music since 2020 album Gigaton , and the first taste of their forthcoming studio album of the same name.

The new single is further proof of the band's ability and willingness to try new approaches while remaining true to the elements that make them Pearl Jam. After all, no one sings like Eddie Vedder , try as they might.

It is a dark, aggressive, fairly urgent-sounding song, once again positioning the band as one of the most anthemic groups to come out of the grunge boom of the early-90s.

The stadium-ready rock tune feels miles away from Gigaton 's Talking Heads inspired first single 'Dance Of The Clairvoyants' .

This is Pearl Jam at their biggest, boldest, and most epic.

Dark Matter will be the band's 12th album and will be released on Friday 14 April.

The band made the record with the Grammy award winning Andrew Watt, who produced Eddie Vedder's 2022 album Earthling and has had recent success with records from The Rolling Stones, Post Malone, Justin Bieber and many more.

Turns out, he was born to make a Pearl Jam record.

"He has encyclopedic knowledge of our history, not only as a band and how we wrote songs, but as players," bassist Jeff Ament said of Watt in a statement.

"He could pinpoint things we did on old songs to the point where I was like, 'What the f**k is he talking about?'

"His excitement was contagious. He's a force. I just want to say thanks for keeping us on track."

With only one song released so far, it's difficult to know what the whole record will have in store. We do know that the band are very excited about what they've put together.

"We're at this time in our lives when you could do it or you could not do it, but we still care about putting something out there that is meaningful and we hopefully think is our best work," frontman Eddie Vedder said in a statement.

"No hyperbole, I think this is our best work."

That's a big call from a band who have sold over 85 million records, and made a couple of the most revered rock'n'roll albums of all time. 

Their debut, 1993's Ten , is one of the totemic records of the grunge era and continues to influence countless rock bands to this day. 

Since that record, the majority of Pearl Jam releases have topped the Australian charts, and their all too rare visits to Australia have always commanded enormous crowds. 

Pearl Jam have not been to Australia in over 10 years, when they headlined the final ever run of Big Day Out festivals around the country in 2014.

This November, the band will play three enormous east coast dates, dropping in at festivals in Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne. The shows are part of a 35-date world tour the band will kick off in May.

News of Pearl Jam touring won't be a surprise to their most eagle-eyed fans. There have been hints dropped all over the Pearl Jam socials for months and fans have speculated all sorts of prospective itineraries on forums and Reddit.

What will be a surprise is the friends they're bringing with them.

It took over 20 years for Boston indie rock legends Pixies to come to Australia for the first time.

Since that first visit in the 2000s, the band have become semi-regular visitors, blazing through sets of their formative noisy rock'n'roll classics as well as cuts from their solid recent albums in shows that prove they're still one of the all-time great bands .

In what is shaping up to be another enormous year for high-profile tours, this one promises to be one of the biggest for rock fans.

Are Pearl Jam About To Announce An Aussie Tour?

Seattle rockers Pearl Jam may finally be returning to Australia for a tour — if their latest social media post is anything to go by.

On Wednesday (Dec. 20), Pearl Jam shared a video performing Do The Evolution at their 1998 show at Melbourne Park along with the telling caption, “Are you koala-fied for our ticket presales? Not a current member? Hop to it, mate! 🐨🦘🇦🇺 #TenDaysOfPJ”

Of course, fans were quick to hit the comments to suggest that an Aussie tour announcement must be imminent.

“So is this your way of saying they're FINALLY coming back to Australia!?!?” asked one eager fan, while another added, “This would be the best Christmas gift! An Australian tour!!!!”

While nothing is official yet, eagle-eyed fans on the band’s subreddit have suggested that Pearl Jam’s Australian and New Zealand shows will take place from November 8 to 10 in Auckland, before heading to Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne from November 13 to 23.

The news would undoubtedly be huge, considering the last time that Pearl Jam played in Australia was during the final Big Day Out run back in 2014 . 

Back in February 2021, Eddie Vedder gave Australian fans some hope as he hinted at the band's long-awaited return Down Under. 

The US artist called in as a guest on NOVA's Chrissie, Sam & Browny show as part of their 'Celebrity Chase' segment, with Vedder saying that an Australian tour could be likely post-COVID. 

"Any hope of seeing Pearl Jam [here] in the next 18 months, Ed?" asked co-host Browny. 

"You know, actually because of the circumstance and because of the way you handled it," responded Vedder, "in some ways, I could say with confidence it could be the first place we play."

Pearl Jam Australian tour announced, new album to be released in April and share title-track

It’s been teased for days, and if you were in Bondi on the weekend, there were Pearl Jam hints everywhere. The Pearl Jam tour is on! Yes, the Seattle grunge legends, Pearl Jam, will be heading to Australia, playing the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney in November this year. In other massive news for the band, they have announced that their twelfth studio album, Dark Matters , will be released on the 19th of April, 2024.

The album was recorded in Malibu, with producer  Andrew Watt  at the helm. With the title-track, which has just been released, you can get a taste of what’s to come. This is their first release since the 2020 album, Gigatron .

About the album, Eddie Vedder said: “I’m getting chills, because I have good memories. We’re still looking for ways to communicate. We’re at this time in our lives when you could do it or you could not do it, but we still care about putting something out there that is meaningful and we hopefully think is our best work. No hyperbole, I think this is our best work.”

The Australian and New Zealand dates are towards the end of a world tour that kicks off in Vancouver in May. They will be supported by Pixies on the Australian legs of their tour.

Pearl Jam continues to try to protect fans’ access to fairly priced tickets by providing the majority of tickets to its Ten Club members where possible and selling approximately 10% of tickets through ‘PJ Premium’ at the market rate to offset increased costs. To ensure fans get their tickets as intended, Pearl Jam has decided that tickets to all Australian shows will not be transferable until 48 hours prior to the event dates. Fans that cannot use their tickets are welcome to sell them via Ticketmaster at the price originally paid, with no additional fees for the seller or buyer.

*Eligibility: Only paid Ten Club members active as of Monday, February 12 are eligible to participate in this presale. To participate in the Ten Club Members-Only Presale , you must place your ticket request by Friday, February 16 at 3 pm GMT.

To participate in the Registration Sale, you must register by Sunday, February 18 at 11:59 pm local time.

Accessible seating locations will vary by venue and are typically very limited. When selecting Accessible Seating through Ticketmaster Request, select how many paid accessible seats you would like (up to two per show).

We will then contact you to confirm if you require an additional seat (per paid ticket) for companion/s and what type of accessible seat you need. As noted, accessible seating is limited, so not all requests may be fulfilled.

What are the age restrictions for attending these shows?

Pearl Jam concerts are licensed all ages events. All patrons regardless of age must hold a valid ticket.

Marvel Stadium, GIANTS Stadium and Heritage Stadium are licensed venues, children 12 years and under will not be admitted without a parent or guardian (16 years or older) and must remain with them at all times.

Auckland Stadiums for all-ages events, children under the age of 14 must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

What is Ticketmaster Request?

Pearl Jam is using Ticketmaster Request to power this fan club presale. Ticketmaster Request is a simple way to request tickets to popular shows, so you don’t have to compete in a first-come, first-served sale. You can take your time to review the available options and request the right tickets for you. All you need to do is tell us which show(s) you’re interested in, the type of ticket you want and your payment details. If tickets that match your request are available, your card will be charged, and we’ll email you instructions on how to claim them. Note: each show you are confirmed for will be charged separately by Ticketmaster; the charge will appear as Ticketmaster*Pearl Jam.

If you’ve bought tickets via the Ten Club for previous tours in Europe, UK, Australia, New Zealand then we have some updates:

• You can now purchase a single Ten Club ticket.  Pairs not required.
• Tickets will be mobile only.
• You may purchase commemorative paper tickets to be delivered after the show date
• Tickets you can no longer use, can be resold for face value using fan to fan exchange

How does the Ten Club ticket request work?

Complete your request in three easy steps. First, tell us what shows and tickets you’re interested in. Then, provide a credit card to complete your ticket request. If your request is fulfilled, your card will be charged, and we’ll email you a confirmation with instructions on how to claim your tickets during the week of February 19.

Note: tickets will not show in your Ticketmaster account until all seating assignments are finalised. We will email you instructions on how to view your tickets in your Ticketmaster account in March (date TBC).

How do I unlock access to the Ten Club ticket request?

Eligible Ten Club members will receive an email from Ten Club with the info. You can also find the presale info on the Ten Club Member News page. The Ten Club ticket request is for eligible Ten Club members only with active membership accounts as of Monday, February 12, 2024.

Is there a cutoff date to become a Ten Club member for the ticket request presale?

Yes. All fans must be a Ten Club paid member, current as of Monday, February 12, 2024. However, all fans can register for the chance to access the sale on February 23 — tap here to get started.

Can I request tickets for more than one city?

Yes. By submitting a ticket request for any show, you are committing to purchase the ticket(s) should your request be fulfilled. For example, if you enter for four shows, it is possible your request can be fulfilled for all four shows in which case your credit card will immediately be charged for tickets to all four shows. However, you can only purchase up to two Ten Club tickets for each individual show.

Why can I no longer prioritise my shows?

Based on fan feedback, the prioritisation tool caused confusion. Only request tickets for shows you can attend.

My wife and I are both Ten Club Members. We both want to request a pair of tickets each. Can we both submit our requests using the same Ticketmaster account?

No, each member must request tickets using their own Ticketmaster account.

How will tickets be determined for Ten Club members?

To level the playing field, ticket requests are fulfilled in a randomised selection process. If selected for seated tickets, tickets will be assigned based on Ten Club seniority.

I need to adjust my Ten Club ticket request, what should I do?

To adjust any part of your request, a new request must be submitted. To do so, tap here to go back to the site, sign in and submit a new request. We’ll only keep the details of your last submission. The deadline to submit a new or updated request is Friday, February 16 2AM.

Can I cancel my Ten Club ticket request?

Yes, requests can be cancelled via the ‘My Requests’ page, located in the menu in the top right corner of the request page. If you place a new request, your previous request will be cancelled automatically. Requests may be cancelled until Friday, February 16 2AM Australia.

What is the maximum number of tickets I can request per show?

Ten Club members may request up to two (2) tickets per show for this tour. When shopping for tickets during the Registration Sale, you may purchase up to six (6) tickets per stadium show.

Do I need to request in pairs?

You may request a single ticket for your show(s). Requesting single tickets does NOT change your odds of being confirmed.

How many shows can I request?

By submitting a ticket request for any show, you are committing to purchase the ticket(s) should your request be confirmed. For example, if you submit a request for three different shows, it is possible your request can be confirmed for all three shows, in which case your credit card will be immediately charged for tickets to all three shows.

When will you charge my card?

Charges will begin on Friday, 16 February and end on Sunday, 18 February — you will only be charged if your request is fulfilled. To avoid declined transactions, please make sure your card has available funds to cover your maximum total.

As a reminder: Ten Club has secured the majority of tickets for this presale where possible. Your request may be fulfilled for ALL the shows you selected, at which point you will be charged for the maximum total provided in your summary. Each show you are confirmed for will be charged separately by Ticketmaster; the charge will appear as Ticketmaster*Pearl Jam.

Please note a temporary $1 authorisation may be held on your card when you submit your request to ensure the card is active. This charge is immediately reversed; it may take a few days to disappear from your bank.

I submitted duplicate requests by accident. What should I do?

We’ll only keep the details of your last submission. If you’d like to adjust any part of your ticket request, a new request must be submitted. To do so, tap here to go back to the site, sign in, and submit a new request. The deadline to submit new or updated requests is Friday, February 16 2AM Australia.

Can I confirm my seats before my credit card is charged? What if I don’t like the tickets I get?

Once your request has been fulfilled, we will immediately process your credit card and assign seats. Reserved Seating is based on Ten Club seniority in the fan club. Please do not request tickets for any cities, shows, or seat preferences that you do not actually wish to purchase.

I’m having trouble getting past the Ticketmaster sign in on the Ten Club ticket request site

If you are successfully entering your email address and password but not allowed to continue, please make sure that your browser settings allow 3rd party cookies. Please be sure to use the link sent to you via email or on the Ten Club Member News page.

If my request is confirmed, how will I get my tickets?

Ticket confirmations will be sent out on a show-by-show basis over the course of three days, beginning Friday, 16 February and ending Sunday, 18 February. Please follow the Ten Club presale timeline for updates. If your request is fulfilled, we will notify you by email and immediately charge the credit card you provided. Additionally, we will email you instructions on how to view your tickets in your Ticketmaster account in March (date TBC). Note: tickets will not show in your Ticketmaster account until all seating assignments are finalised.

My credit card got charged but I haven’t received an email confirming my order yet, what should I do?

Please search your email for Ticketmaster Request or [email protected] . Also, your credit card company may be slightly ahead. We will notify you by email of your ticket request status and next steps. If you don’t receive your confirmation details within 24 hours, please email Ten Club’s Ticketmaster Support at [email protected] . Please be sure to include your receipt number and the name listed on the request summary.

Is the Ten Club ticket request for Ten Club members only?

Yes. For Pearl Jam’s Dark Matter World Tour 2024 shows, only eligible Ten Club members may request presale tickets. For more info tap here . If you are not an eligible Ten Club member, you can register for the sale on February 23 — tap here to get started.

If I used the Ten Club ticket request can I also request additional tickets through the sale on February 23?

Yes. Everyone is encouraged to register for the sale on February 23 for an additional opportunity to get tickets. This sale will take place after all confirmed Ten Club requests have been processed. Registration does not guarantee access to the sale. Registration is now open and will close on Sunday, February 18 at 11:59 pm local venue time.

What happens if my Ten Club ticket request is not confirmed?

If you’d like to have another opportunity to shop for tickets, register for the sale on February 23. Some fans who register will be randomly selected to get access to the sale and receive a unique access code. Tap here to register for the sale.

Are international fans able to request tickets to shows in North America?

Yes, eligible international fans who create a Ticketmaster.com account can submit a Ten Club ticket request. However, we may limit the availability of the Site or any service or product described on the Site to any person or geographic area at any time. Can I request tickets for the shows outside of Australia?

Yes. Each country will require its own ticket request submission. If you are confirmed for a show and we attempt to process your order, your local bank may elect to decline the transaction. • A charge from a US-based company may be attempted between Feb 19 and Feb 21

Why do I need to register?

Pearl Jam is asking fans to register in advance to help block bots and scalpers, and get more tickets to real people who want to attend the show. While it doesn’t guarantee that all fans who register will get tickets, it can significantly reduce the number of professional resellers who buy tickets to sell for profit.

Can I register for the shows in other countries?

How many tickets can I buy with my code?

You can purchase up to six (6) tickets per show.

Can I register more than once to increase my invitation status?

No. You can only register for the sale once in each country.

If I edit my registration more than once, will I be disqualified?

We only keep the last registration that you submitted.

I received a registration confirmation email, does that mean I will get tickets?

No, the registration confirmation email is simply to inform you that we have received your information. A second email will be sent on the evening of Thursday, February 22 letting you know if you will receive a unique access code to join the sale or if you’ve been placed on the waitlist.

When will I receive an email letting me know if I’ll receive a unique access code or be placed on the waitlist?

On the evening of Thursday, February 22, you’ll receive an email letting you know if you selected to join the sale or if you’ve been placed on the waitlist. If you are selected, you will also receive a unique access code in your email.

Does registering mean I get a sale access code?

No. Registration does not guarantee access to the sale.

If I receive access to the sale, am I guaranteed tickets?

No. Access means you have an opportunity to join the sale where tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The ticket limit for the sale is six (6) tickets per stadium show.

What is PJ Premium?

PJ Premium seats are in a variety of preferred locations and account for approximately 10% of ticket inventory per show. They are priced at market rate to offset increased touring costs while also keeping prices low for the rest of the ticket inventory. PJ Premium tickets will be available along with regularly priced tickets during the sale.

Can I transfer my code to someone else?

No, codes are unique to the account they’re issued to and won’t work if shared.

How can I get the seating map in advance?

Seating options vary depending on the event or venue and in some cases may not be available until tickets go on sale. Visit the event page on Ticketmaster to learn more about seating options and maps.

How will I know if I’ve been granted access to the Registration Sale after I’ve been placed on the waitlist?

If selected, you will receive an email with a unique access code and link to the sale. Access to the sale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re sent a unique access code and link, you should join the sale as soon as possible.

I’m a real fan – not a bot or reseller. Why didn’t I get access?

Selection is random and not a measure of how big a fan anybody is. There are typically more fans registered than there are tickets available so a limited number of fans get access to the sale, and others must be placed on the waitlist. The number of fans who receive access depends on the number of tickets currently available — this is done to help create a less crowded ticket shopping experience for fans.

Cornell & Kurt & Layne & Lanegan are all sadly no longer with us. And of course Pearl Jam themselves eventuated after the tragic passing of Andy Wood. I had never seen Pearl Jam live before, being only a very casual fan of the band, but I made the trek to the 2024 Manchester show largely to pay my respects to one of the last major forces from that beautiful era of music that does mean a lot personally.

I remember Ten and Vs. quite well. I sort of recall Vitalogy… but then it gets a bit hazy... Arriving early, I was surprised to able to stroll almost right to the very front and then observe the sizeable arena fill up behind me.

I thought they would put on a good show but this was unbelievable. ‘Of the girl’ was a cool and interesting opener and ‘Why go’ really got the fans excited. To my left a 50 year old man was crowd surfing. The sound of the band was crisp and powerful and Mike McCready’s guitar solos were blistering.

Eddie was apologetic that he had picked up a throat issue in Ireland and was on medication, but anything his voice lacked on the night, he more than made up for with humour, kindness and consideration to the crowd. He finished one tune abruptly to check on the safety, and to pour a beverage for an unfortunate soul who had been partially crushed in the revelry.

The band progressed through an excellent set. At one point during ‘State of love and trust’ I found myself just metres from Vedder himself as he warmly greeted fans on our side of the stage. Much of the more recent material that was new to me, I will certainly check out again as everything sounded great and complimented nicely classics like ‘Even Flow,’ Alive’, ‘Daughter’ and ‘Black’.

Massive credit to Pearl Jam on such a brilliant, memorable and slightly emotional show from this ‘90s teen.

All that said this time I was down on the floor this time and it certainly added to the atmosphere and you could appreciate the light show too. Making up for the cancelled gig tonight we are treated to a 33 song near three hour set, encore upon encore including some great covers from the likes of Petty, The Who and Dylan.

It’s a breathless night and tonight Pearl Jam only go to confirm that they are one of the great live rock acts around. I don’t need to say anymore. Another great night.

Great setlist, perfect weather, fitting venue and they guys from Pearl Jam so great, energetic and charismatic as always. They seem to really love to play live for their crowd. Only negative thing was due to se fanatic Ten-Club member group (aparently US-americans, aprox. 20-25 persons) who were very hostile towarda people who approched the front rows, threatening people in group and being very disgusting while appearing to be very "devote" fans. Sasly security didn’t seem to notice or, if they did, didn’t care. That just left a bit of bitterness since it was infuriating to see how they were behaving and being aggresive and trying to intimidate people in a band‘s concert who otherwise represent the whole opposite of that group‘s behavior.

Other than that, it was an awesome, long and unforgettable show.

Pearl Jam have announced 2022 tour dates in support of their eleventh studio album Gigaton . The trek had previously been postponed from 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and now includes additional dates along with the rescheduled itinerary. The band is also set to perform shows across the UK and Europe over the summer, between the North American dates.

Public tickets will be available through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration, open now through March 27 at 10pm PT. Verified Fan Onsale begins March 29 at 10am local time.

Pearl Jam has locked-in new replacement dates for the 2020 North America tour that was scrapped due to the pandemic.

The shows, in support of their 2020 album Gigaton , will unfold in a two-leg trek, the first of which will begin May 3 in San Diego and wrap May 20 in Las Vegas. The fall leg kicks off Sept. 1 in Quebec City, Quebec, and closes Sept. 22 in Denver, Colorado.

The Baltimore show from the 2020 routing, however, has been canceled due to renovations at Royal Farms Arena. Instead, new California dates have been added in Fresno and Sacramento, Las Vegas and Camden, New Jersey. Pearl Jam touring member Josh Klinghoffer will open the tour with his solo project Pluralone.

The 2020 trek was meant to be a rock ‘n’ roll party in support of the band’s 11 th studio album Gigaton , which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in April of that year.

Pearl Jam Announce 2022 Rescheduled North American Tour Dates

After just about two years, Pearl Jam have announced their rescheduled North American tour dates, and have added a couple of new shows to their itinerary.

The tour was originally set to take place in the spring of 2020 in support of their latest album  Gigaton,  but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the original set of concerts, they've also added some new shows in cities including Fresno and Sacramento, Calif., Las Vegas and Camden, N.J.  Josh Klinghoffer 's band Pluralone will open for the entirety of the run.

There won't be a general public sale for tickets for the tour. To get tickets, fans will have to sign up through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration, which is open now through Sunday, March 27 at 7PM ET. The Verified Fan ticket sale window opens March 29 at 10AM local time. Register to get tickets here . Once registered, you'll receive an email detailing what steps you'll have to take in order to score tickets.

"Ticketmaster Verified Fan keeps bots out of the ticket buying process. While Ticketmaster Verified Fan does not guarantee that every fan will get a ticket, it does make the ticket buying experience fairer by ensuring only other fans are competing for tickets. A simple registration is all it takes to get verified and have the opportunity to be invited to buy tickets," the Verified Fan page reads.

"All registered fans who are also verified will be equally eligible to participate in the Verified Fan Onsale. However, if demand for tickets from verified fans exceeds supply, verified fans may be selected at random to participate in the onsale. Due to the limited quantity of tickets available for the Pearl Jam Onsale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan, they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. No purchase necessary to register."

Additionally, the rockers will pay $200 per ton for carbon dioxide mitigation from the tour in order to offset their carbon footprint as they trek across the continent, and then venture over to Europe in June and July.

“We are proud of our prior efforts to mitigate our inevitable carbon footprint from touring over the past 20 years but the time to multiply that effort is clearly right now," guitarist Stone Gossard said in a press release. "By committing to this aggressive pricing, we hope to equally amplify our efforts and gather partners who share our urgency to make the investments and innovations required to move our world to a more conscious, carbon balanced economy.”
