One-Trip Containers

As mentioned above, these containers are used once, more often than not just to be transported to a new location or carry cargo one time, and are then sold as “new”. 

There will be little to no exterior and interior damage done to the steel and no rust. It is for this reason that one-trip containers are highly sought-after when looking to build a new project for living/residing in.  

The only downside to one-trip shipping containers is that they aren’t exactly as “environmentally-friendly” as older, used containers because they’re being constructed as new. Using older containers constitutes recycling whereas using new containers does not.

Cargo Worthy Containers

Cargo-worthy containers are shipping containers mostly used for international and overseas transport .

This type of container is generally used for shipping purposes for over 8 years before being sold privately. If you were to purchase a cargo-worthy container it may come with significant dents and exterior deterioration.

Wind and Water Tight Containers

Wind and watertight (WWT) containers are not cargo-worthy because they don’t have the CSC seal of approval for international and overseas shipping standards. 

WWT containers are by far one of the cheaper options when it comes to purchasing your sturdy steel frame. You can pick up cheap WWT containers for as little as US$1,500 for older, more dented models. 

Just like the cargo-worthy containers, WWT containers may or may not come with significant wear and tear and dents. The more damage to the frame, the cheaper the container.

Though it is still sturdy, and essentially hurricane proof as some would say, there are a few damages as well as rust deterioration that make this container not-so-pleasing to the eye. 

What are the Costs of a One-Trip Container?

Because they are basically new and come in the best condition possible out of all containers, one-trip shipping containers are more expensive than others.

USED cargo worthy containers are certified for global transport based on the condition of the doors, floor, walls, and ceiling. Dents, rust, and corroded paint may be present. The unit is leak proof.

REFURBISHED cargo worthy containers are certified for global transport based on the condition of the doors, floor, walls, and ceiling. The unit has been sanded, all rust removed, and a new coat of primer and paint applied. The container is leak proof.

Conexwest does not sell "AS-IS" or "Wind Water Tight" (WWT) due to the risk of structural integrity.

The Warranty Coverage Period for New ISO shipping containers is ten years from the date of purchase from Conexwest. The Warranty Coverage Period for Used Cargo Worthy ISO shipping containers is five years from the date of purchase from Conexwest. A leakproof unit guarantee included. 

During the warranty period, Conexwest will repair, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or replace units or parts of a container at no charge. The container must prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

Made from durable corrosion resistant Corten steel, this 20FT conex container is perfect for your home or business storage needs. Shipping containers are very secure, water tight and portable, should you need to relocate. Our containers are manufactured to the highest standards with welded tie down points included on both upper and lower rails, ten air vents to ensure good air flow, a lock box for additional security and a heavy duty marine grade plywood floor that safeguards your valuables, keeping them clean and dry.

Each container home is unique and designed for the homeowner’s land and vision. First, the company ensures the shipping containers are water and wind-tight and then insulates them. Before your new home can be delivered to you, you must make the necessary site preparation.

Asian feeder players double surcharges as Singapore labelled congestion hotspot

Vessels calling at the world’s second-largest container port face berthing delays of up to seven days

Asian feeder operators have doubled their congestion surcharge just weeks after introducing it in the face of growing regional disruptions.

The Asian Feeder Discussion Group (AFDG) said delays at transshipment ports in South East Asia had deteriorated further, resulting in additional operational costs for those operators making multiple calls.

The increased emergency cost recovery surcharge is due to kick in on 1 June.

Zvenigorod Railway Station is located far from the city centre. To get to the centre from the railway station, take bus No. 23 or No. 51. Or take a taxi - it cannot cost more that RUB250. 

  Zvenigorod Bus Station

There is no bus station in Zvenigorod and buses from Moscow terminate in the city centre at what is known as the Mayakovsky Quarter bus stop, stopping at Ulitsa Proletarskaya on the way there.
