Super tour in Vietnam

I and my friend had booked Executive Vietnam 11 day tour on Apr 8-18. We were happy to have PrestigoAsia as a tour operator. The agency rep Mr. Dat was always in contact with us, replied quickly and was very helpful. All complicated logistics including two flights to Phu Quoc island and back, two trains to Sapa and back , pick up and drop off at hotel have been done smoothly and perfectly. Hotels were decent especially on Phu Quoc island was luxury I’d say. The whole tour was not expensive at all, with good discount. I recommend my friends Tourradar and PrestigoAsia to travel to Vietnam and see main attractions and most interesting sights. Laila, Canada

Couldn’t get answers to basic questions after booking

After booking I tried to get answers to basic questions about the cruise I booked. I have gone to your website for information, sent inquiries to the autobot, and chatted live with NO SUCCESS. Your representatives repeatedly responded without answers to the specific questions I asked. Or they sent links to FAQs which also didn’t apply. I also called via phone. I have tried multiple times and wasted numerous hours. I was also referred to the tour operator, Europamundo. They took days to reply but didn’t supply the correct information. One of your representatives (I spoke to many) did attempt to help, providing me with supposed phone numbers to contact the tour operator, but they were not effective. Example question: what is the address where the boat docks at the termination of the cruise? This booking has been a miserable, frustrating experience.

Not recommended

you can not even see, if there are other participates on the tour and if not - you can do the tour alone or if you cancel they charge you the fee. I tried several times to reach TourRadar to check in advance, if there are other people, who booked the tour, but it was so hard to reach them and then they only told me, I shall just book the tour.. and in the end I needed to pay for the cancelation..

Platform repeatedly rejected our credit card …

Platform repeatedly rejected our credit card when trying to make payment. Online agent suggested the problem might be with our bank. Telephone call to another agent had the same effect, he couldn’t help either. So after 90 minutes of trying I gave up. Apparently the problem was the platform itself and mysteriously resolved a day later.

The PGA TOUR returns to Texas after three weeks in the Southeast. TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, just north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, will be hosting for the fourth consecutive season after moving THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson there in 2021. K.H. Lee won the first two editions of the tournament at TPC Craig Ranch only for Jason Day to spoil his attempt at a three-peat in 2023. Jason Day also won the event in 2010 when it was contested at Las Colinas Four Seasons, the same year Jordan Spieth made his PGA TOUR debut at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson at just 16 years old. TPC Craig Ranch is a par 71 and plays to 7,414 yards.

The PGA TOUR uses a standardized system for determining event fields based on the current season’s Priority Ranking while also including additional exemption and qualifying categories.

Field sizes can vary by event, as can the number of event-specific exemptions. Fully exempt PGA TOUR members are guaranteed entry into all full-field events, with various conditional categories subject to periodic reshuffles based upon FedExCup Points accrued throughout the season. Categories with "reshuffle" notation indicate that a reshuffle period has occurred.

Note: An additional year of eligibility was granted to some categories because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The New York area was rattled by another earthquake Saturday morning.

The magnitude 2.9 quake hit roughly 4 miles southwest of Gladstone, New Jersey, just before 9 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey. 

The epicenter is roughly 45 miles from the Big Apple 

There were no initial reports of damage to structures, roadways, or infrastructure from the latest quake, according to the  New Jersey Office of Emergency Management . 

Saturday’s temblor came just weeks after a rare magnitude 4.8 quake struck in the same area outside Lebanon, New Jersey, on April 5.

That quake, which was the strongest to hit the New York metro area since 1884, was felt by roughly 42 million people and caused modest chaos as New Yorkers rushed out of their homes and into the streets after the rumble. 

At least 134 aftershocks have been reported since then.

New Jerseyans were astonished that another quake may have rattled their state in such a short timespan.

“NJ is not supposed to have earthquakes SO WHY THE F–K WE GETTING THEM?!” one X user wrote. 

“We got hit again! This is NOT NATURAL!” another New Jerseyite griped .

CJ Cup Byron Nelson 2024 full field: Jordan Spieth returns to Dallas-area event

The CJ Cup Byron Nelson is a hometown event for Jordan Spieth. And after an absence last year, he'll return to TPC Craig Ranch.

Spieth missed last year’s edition because of a left wrist injury. Though he said in his most recent start at the RBC Heritage that his wrist was still bothering him , the Dallas native will be back at the Nelson.

Spieth played this event twice as an amateur, in 2010 and '11, making the cut both times. His only missed cut in 11 starts here came in 2017. His best finish was his most recent, a runner-up showing in 2022.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are taking Wrexham back to the United States this summer.

Details were announced in an online video on Thursday, confirming two games in California and another in Vancouver, British Columbia, as part of the Welsh club's preparations for the English third tier next season.

Wrexham shot to global fame after being bought by Hollywood actors Reynolds and McElhenney in 2021. Under their stewardship, Wrexham has earned promotion in two successive seasons.

Wrexham will play Bournemouth in Santa Barbara on July 20, Chelsea in Santa Clara on July 24, and the Vancouver Whitecaps on July 27.

Personel nie uprzedził przed przyjazdem o tym, że w terminie mojego pobytu odbędzie się całonocna głośna impreza. Łomot muzyki do 2-3 w nocy. Pijani uczestnicy imprezy hałasujący na parkingu pod oknami. Przyjechałem wypocząć z rodziną i dziećmi a zamiast tego zafundowano nam nieprzespaną noc, nawet o tym nie uprzedzając. Przed dokonaniem rezerwacji rozmawiałem z recepcją telefonicznie, więc wystarczyło uprzedzić że odbędzie się impreza zorganizowana wtedy napewno wybrałbym inny obiekt.

Wspaniała lokalizacja. Dokoła las. Miła obsługa. Pokój przyjemny, ale materace do wymiany. Śniadanie mały wybór, odbiega na minus od pozostałych obiektów z tej sieci.

Rozwalająca się kabina prysznicowa. W pokoju łóżka polowe. Bilard, nie nadający się do normalnej gry. Nie działająca lodówka. Podczas poprzedniego przyjazdu, w innym pokoju również nie działała. Ośrodek pamięta lata 90. Nawet trambambula jest ta sama co 25 lat temu, jak byłem mały.

Dobra spokojna lokalizacja. Jedzenie całkiem niezłe, tylko trzeba iść wcześniej.

Niestety zdjęcia na booking przedstawiają kompletnie inne pokoje, o zupełnie innym standardzie. W rzeczywistości pokój w dużo gorszym stanie. Trafiła nam się deszczowa nocka i opad deszczu mieliśmy również w pokoju, całą noc kapało z sufitu.

Świetna lokalizacja, spokój, dużo zieleni, możliwość przyjazdu z psem, miły personel, bezpłatny parking, śniadania. Brak luksusów, na krótki pobyt bez opadów deszczu ok.

There are country music superstars and then there's Tim McGraw.

A dozen years ago, the artist with ten chart-topping country albums toured stadiums across America with Kenny Chesney. On Thursday evening, a euphoric Bridgestone Arena was blistered with the impact of a show presented at a size and sound capable of working six blocks away across the Cumberland River at Nissan Stadium.

Accompanying the power chords of his 2013-released top-10 single "Truck Yeah" with stentorian drum kicks would be one thing. But then, there's McGraw's silhouette surrounded by a glowing red screen on a panoramic, 105-foot wide by 26-foot tall LED screen and a laser show blinding enough to rival Kane Brown, Lil Wayne, Bon Jovi, or Tiesto at their touring heights.

The cinema and drama aren't presented for a song about hearing Lil Wayne's "6 Foot 7 Foot" booming through a dark blue Ford F-150's subwoofers before a weekend dominated by "Friday night football, Saturday last call, Sunday hallelujah."

Yes, country music is most assuredly about the song. However, very few artists have parlayed their song styling into a quarter century of work as actors in films grossing over a half-billion dollars at the box office.

Thus, when McGraw performs songs like "Just To See You Smile," "Where The Green Grass Grows" and "Standing Room Only" -- the 2023 hit that titles his most recent album and current concert tour -- an impressive transference occurs.

McGraw connects, brings out an impressive special guest

McGraw, empathetically aware of the power of sharing his stage with prospective female role models and stars, impressively softens his towering humanity before the night's most stunning moment: the encore.

A stunning encore

Instead of the house lights coming on or the set's well-articulated lighting schemes being eschewed for spotlights, an overture was heard, and a well-lit, panoramic LED screen introduction highlighting key McGraw scenes from "1883" highlighted his performance of 2001's "The Cowboy In Me."

The edges blurred between the actor and the man at that point.

"Humble and Kind" was followed by an acapella encore, with the crowd heartily singing along, if only because the entire building knew that 2004's "Live Like You Were Dying"—a song that inarguably re-set the expectation of earnest songwriting and raw emotions and involving a solo performance by McGraw that would be worth the cost of the ticket alone—was next.

Impressively, McGraw still performs the Single of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2004 Country Music Association Awards and the 2004 Academy of Country Music Awards, as well as the 2004 Grammy winner for Best Country Song as if he's having a conversation about how his father's cancer journey impacted him while leaving enough space for your own life and stories to own emotional real estate in the song.

As the evening ended, like again, the athlete that appeared in various formats throughout the evening, McGraw pumped his fist and pounded his chest to symbolize that not just he had successfully performed another concert. Instead, it was as if we, together, as a team, had victoried for country music, America, the community we had created for two hours and hopefully in gaining the perspective, via his concert, to continue to struggle and succeed at living our most fulfilled lives.
