This was an amazing 2 hours in/on the water. Before our trip, 50-75% of our family was adamant that they would not go deeper than 1/2 a foot in the ocean.... That really changed at the beautiful sandbar! Capt. Heidi was positive, patient, and encouraging with our family of novice snorkelers (ranging from 10 to 50 years old)--and this really enhanced an already wonderful experience.

We had the best tour with Heidi this morning! It felt very relaxed but she was excellent with picking up the pace or pointing out interesting things when the kids (4&7) started to get antsy. We will absolutely use them again if we are in the area and she sparked a new love for snorkeling in our oldest. Highly recommend using them!

My wife and I had a great time with Heidi. We saw so many fish and lobster and she was great and just fun. Made the trip very relaxing, can't wait to bring the kids next time.

We had a wonderful relaxing time on our tour with Captain Heidi. Loved how informative she was with a great personality. We enjoy being out on the water and really seeing the keys. Very nice boat with shade, water and snacks. I would highly recommend this for everyone. We look forward to doing it again.

We had an amazing time with Captain Heidi on our two hour boat tour. She was very knowledgeable about the area and showed us some great spots including the sand bar. She helped our toddler feel comfortable on the boat and even let her "drive the boat." I would definitely recommend chartering them as they are very professional and had a well maintained boat. The tour included equipment for snorkeling, snacks, and bottled water. You can even bring your own snacks and adult beverages if you choose.

Look no further! This company gave us the best bang for the buck. Knowledgeable and long time resident of the Keys, Captain Kathy, educated and entertained us on our trip across the waterways of the Keys. We came away with a new understanding of the need to protect this very special environment. A must trip for all visiting the Keys!!

We had a terrific experience this afternoon with Captain Kathy. From the beginning we loved her warmth and the comfortable atmosphere she provided even though we weren't experienced snorkelers. The boat had two canopies which meant we weren't baking in the sun, and there was extra water and snacks on board. Captain Kathy personalized the trip to suit our interests and skills, and we jumped on the opportunity to add an extra hour onto our trip. The snorkeling was really fun, too. We had a wonderful afternoon and we highly recommend them to others!

My husband and I happened to visit the Keys for our babymoon during a particularly rainy week. The only day we were there that happened to have lovely weather was a Friday; we called Cpt. Kathy and she was extremely accommodating! She was able to meet us during the limited time we had available, and took us for activities--snorkeling in the calm bay, and swimming by the sand bar--that was perfect for the pregnancy. Her boat was really cool/comfortable and she provided water and snacks for us. We were able to kick back and relax while learning about the local ecosystem and seeing some of the amazing sights. Kathy finished the tour with further recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area, and sent us pictures from the day a few days after we left. Note that you meet the boat at Smuggler's Cove Inn at Islamorada, and as such there is ample parking and bathrooms available before and after the tour. We'd highly recommend calling Family Fun Boat Tours, whether you're a couple or family/small group, for a fantastic time!
