Victory Passenger Tall Back Rest

Victory Magnum Cross Country Backrest. This tall backrest bolts under the seat to allow you to utilize one piece bag fillers or eliminate the use of that tall factory backrest. Backrest is made of steel and powder coated black with a foam pad for comfort. Keep that sleek look of your Victory Bagger by adding a VicBaggers Tall Backrest. 2013 Victory Cross Country® Corey Ness Tour

Identification

Transmission, wheels & tires, technical specifications, instrumentation, audio & communication, paint & finish, convenience, user reviews, subtle flash.

Provides all the look and feel of the standard XCT with some upgrades. I found the upgraded grips a tad thick for even bare hands (taller riders would beg to differ, I'm sure). The suede topped seat was excellent and very comfortable. The yellow is less sunny than in photos. The metallic flaking ... tones it down a bit. The diamond cut engine is truly beautiful.

Love my 12 CCT but would like a backrest for the stock rider seat... *Anyone using a backrest that can recommend it and the company? Thanks!  

I use the Utopia backrest and find a backrest makes a big difference while riding. When I ordered my backrest I made sure to ask for the `police pad` which is a little smaller than the standard backrest pad. The standard one is too big for the CC. The installation was very straight forward. You will not go wrong with this purchase. Jim  

Ordered the police pad also. Shop put it on the bike this spring. I just went to get my bike out of storage and can not use the Utopia as it is not adjustable with the police pad option. I am calling them tomorrow to see if I can send it back and exchange it for the adjustable backrest with quick relese as they are the same price. If I can,t exchange the seat I will sell it on the forums.  

I also purchased the Utopia backrest, it's well made & priced right. I find it makes a world of difference having support for my back. I got the standard one and am quite happy with the look & finish.  

I have the Victory OEM drivers backrest. I love it. Went on an 800 mile ride this week. Worked great.....but it's a bit pricy, and don't forget to order the bracket also. That is another $99 or so. It fits me perfectly and is very easy to adjust. I didn't check out other products because I received $500 in free accessories when I bought the bike. Made a huge difference. Offers a lot of back support in the perfect place. Very sturdy. I believe it is actually made by Mustang.

+1. thumb up I installed my new Grasshopper backrest a couple of months ago on my XC. It works great and is built decent so yes "it can't be beat" unless you just like to spend $money$. I am 5' 6" and I do have pullback handlebars and this backrest does the job I needed it to do perfectly.

I plan on getting the grasshopper as well. I don't usually ride with a backrest but I have a couple of 1500 to 3000 mile week long trips coming up and I am thinking one might come in handy. Put it on for the trips and take it back off and throw it in the closet till the next 9 hour day on the superslab.  

I keep my Grasshopper in my saddlebag. It comes on and off in about 3 seconds.

I have a utopia and love it .  

Xknight, when you take the grass hopper off can you see the mounting bracket or is it hidden pretty well in the seat? I will be running with the seat off for 85% of my riding and don't want a metal bracket sticking out of the seat slit.  

The mounting bracket is completely hidden under the seat, nothing sticks out. I don't use my backrest all the time either and that was one of the reasons I didn't want to spend so much on the Victory or Utopia. When I saw that the grasshopper was only $99 and was quick detach that sealed the deal for me.  

Th e grasshopper has a metal tongue that slides into a mounting brackett under the seat, you don't see anything when it is off.thumb up  

I have the OEM driver backrest on my 2012 Cross Roads... Adjusts front/back as well as up/down... Slips in a bracket when I want it... Slips out when I don't... Nothing visible when it's off the bike... I use it for trips and attach my pack to it.  

i also have had the vic rest since new. good news is if you go to an ultimate seat it also works there too.dont know about working with the new mustang seat.someone can probably tell us soon. i recommend the vic also cause it looks good w/the oem pass backrest. works well also.--irv  

back rest Cant remember where I saw it on this site or the Victory Owners Group site but a company had a new onw with bracket selling for one hundred bucks and looked good. I know not much help but research and youll find it.  

Utopia back rest with quick release here. Super high quality product.

Hey thanks for this thread gents. I needed a backrest badly, but just couldn't bring myself to spend $350 on the hardware. Going with the grasshopper.  

I was looking to purchase one from Grasshopper and posted a question to him via his ebay store and he ignored me. I simply wanted to know before ordering where the backrest cushion lined up in relation to the rider seat since I know it is not adjustable..

I installed my Grasshopper backrest this last week and finally rode it today. A three minute install and a hundred bucks is well worth the time and money!  

After read this thread I just now purchased a grasshopper backrestthumb up. Cant wait to install it and try it outcheers

Yes my wife has room and backrest lifts right out for ease of getting off and on. Backrest looks factory. Got the pocket on mine wife uses it for cell phone storage. Easy install looks great

i dont like the looks of a driver's backrest and had done 10k on my 2012 xc without one. but i thought, what the hell and ordered the grasshopper. i opened it up and made made a bracket with a 3/4 inch 90 to push it forward. Now? i ride with it all the time. love it. the service was great. worth every penny.  

I chose to support America and bought the Utopia backrest. Fits perfect and works as advertised.  

Just placed my order for the Grasshopper seat after going through this evening.  

Cool! I love mine!! And you can't beat the price!!
