Aerosmith Reveal Peace Out Tour Merch Ahead of First Show

Fans can see the full line from the band’s upcoming final tour

Ahead of their farewell tour kick-off in Philadelphia, Aerosmith have revealed the official tour merchandise line for their upcoming Peace Out run. Exclusive items include show-specific t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, a hoodie, and a massive 24×36 tour poster. Check out photos of some of the pieces below. Additionally, rock ‘n’ roll jewelry designer Distefano will have a booth at the shows displaying their exclusive collection of Aerosmith-inspired pieces including rings, necklaces, earrings, and more.

After five decades as America’s top rock band,  Aerosmith  are saying farewell. The band’s Peace Out Tour is their final 40-date trek across North America, bringing their storied career to an end. The trek kicks off tomorrow, September 2 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, and wraps up on January 26, 2024 at Centre Bell in Montreal.  The Black Crowes  will serve as special guests for the entire trek.

“It’s not goodbye, it’s PEACE OUT,” Aerosmith stated. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

While the band has been touring for over five decades, there’s still plenty of tracks that haven’t seen the lights of a stage yet. Their upcoming farewell tour will be their last chance to play any of these songs for the first time. The full list of every song that the band has never performed in concert can be found HERE .

Tickets for all shows are on sale now. The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Aerosmith set to 'Peace Out' with farewell tour

The band's farewell tour coincides with the 50th anniversary of their self-titled debut.

It's been half a century since the release of Aerosmith 's self-titled debut, and the iconic rock band is ready unplug the amps — after a 40-date farewell tour.

The group announced the news on Monday, telling fans in a joint statement to get ready for an epic show. "It's not goodbye it's PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you're going to get the best show of our lives."

The Peace Out farewell tour will kick off on Sept. 2 in Philadelphia and include stops in Los Angeles, New York City, Austin, Seattle, Chicago and Toronto, among other cities. Before the tour wraps on January 26 in Montreal, the group will take the stage for a New Year's Eve show in their hometown of Boston. The Black Crowes will serve as the tour's opening act.

Members Steven Tyler , Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, and Brad Whitford will all be part of the tour , though drummer Joey Kramer will be sitting this one out.

"While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey's unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed," the band said in a statement.

The news comes amid a lawsuit accusing frontman Tyler of child sexual abuse. Julia Misley filed a complaint against Tyler under the California Child Victims Act accusing him of sexual assault, coercion of an abortion, and involuntary infamy. She maintains that the musician used his status to "groom, manipulate, exploit, [and] sexually assault" her during a three-year relationship that she says began when she was 16 and Tyler was in his 20s.

Last month, Tyler issued a denial and called for the case to be dismissed , saying he "denies, generally and specifically, each and every allegation" and maintains that his actions at the time "were legitimate, good faith, justified, nondiscriminatory, and/or non-retaliatory."

Aerosmith Kicks Off ‘Peace Out’ Farewell Tour: Set List, Photos, Video

Aerosmith kicked off their Peace Out farewell tour  on Saturday in Philadelphia with an impressive 18-song set performed on a dazzling new stage.

After a 20-minute history of the band played on the large video screens above the packed crowd, the stage sprung to life, forming a giant 3D version of the Aerosmith logo, complete with inflatable wings.

Steven Tyler , Joe Perry , Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton emerged from a riser behind the drum kit and launched into "Back in the Saddle." Tyler's energy continued to defy logic and the laws of aging, and his voice was in fine form, with tasteful help from three backup singers and multi-instrumentalists.

John Douglas joined the band on drums, filling in for founding member Joey Kramer, who is sitting this tour out. There were some understandable opening night hiccups, such as malfunctioning microphones and sound issues, but the band didn't let any of them get in the way of a good time.

The set comprised a nearly exactly even mix of songs from Aerosmith's original '70s run and their '80s and '90s comeback years. Although they could easily deliver an entire show filled with Top 40 hits, the group skipped a few (most notably "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)") in favor of some beloved album tracks, such as Toys in the Attic 's "Adam's Apple" and Permanent Vacation 's "Hangman Jury."

A Trip Down Memory Lane Took the Show to a New Level

The show really caught fire during "Movin' Out," the highlight of the night and the last of a three-track sequence that found Perry and Tyler seated at the front of the stage. Before starting the song, the duo traded stories about their early days, with Tyler explaining how he had to keep a dozing Perry awake after the guitarist first came up with the song's opening riff. The story seemed to re-energize the entire band, and Perry and Tyler quickly abandoned their chairs and joined their bandmates for an extended instrumental jam.

Perry also paid tribute to the recently departed Jeff Beck , proudly showing off a guitar that Beck's family had given him to use onstage. Aerosmith brought the main set to a close with two more songs from Toys , "Sweet Emotion" and "Toys in the Attic," during which giant inflatable versions of the stuffed animals from the album cover descended from the ceiling.

The band then returned for an undeniable two-song encore comprising a particularly emotional "Dream On" and a joyous "Walk This Way." If this really is the end for Aerosmith, it's because they want it to be — certainly not because they can't do their jobs excellently anymore.

Aerosmith's Peace Out Tour Will Continue at Least Through January 2024

The Peace Out tour is currently set to conclude on Jan. 26 in Montreal, although Aerosmith has not formally declared they won't add another round of dates to their schedule.The Black Crowes played a powerful hourlong opening set  at the Wells Fargo Center and will join Aerosmith for this entire tour.

Four-time Grammy award-winning and diamond-certified rock legends Aerosmith announce their return to the road with Peace Out , featuring special guests The Black Crowes , fresh off their first release in nearly 15 years, Happiness Bastards . Additionally, a very special one-night-only performance from Teddy Swims is set at the tour kickoff in Pittsburgh, PA. Fans first heard that one of the most significant American rock bands in history was embarking on their final tour with a special announcement video celebrating this not-to-be-missed final tour.

Every night will pay homage to the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate over 50 years as America’s greatest rock band. In addition, THX will bring their THX Certified Live! high-fidelity experience on the road, calibrating each arena with leading-edge technology so fans don’t miss a beat of Aerosmith’s classic rock tunes in quality audio.

Produced by Live Nation , the monumental 40-date North American tour will kick off in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 2, with stops in iconic arenas across the U.S. and Canada, including Los Angeles's Kia Forum, New York's Madison Square Garden, Dallas's Moody Center, Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena, Chicago's United Center, Toronto's Scotiabank Arena, and more before wrapping in Montreal, Quebec at Bell Centre on January 26 (their last visit at the Bell Centre was in April 2004). Most recently, AEROSMITH wrapped their critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency, "Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild" , at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The electrifying 90-minute live performance took fans deep diving into AEROSMITH 's groundbreaking career with exclusive, unreleased audio and never-before-seen visuals from the band's archives produced by Oscar and Emmy -winning global visual effects studio Pixomondo .

Ahead of the residency, AEROSMITH returned to their hometown in Boston to perform a record-breaking one-off show at Fenway Park as part of the legendary band's 50th anniversary celebrations. With over 38,700 people in attendance, it was the most tickets sold to date for a show at the iconic venue.

Last month, guitarist Joe Perry told Joe Rock of Long Island, New York's 102.3 WBAB radio station that it was unlikely AEROSMITH 's upcoming tour would feature the return of Kramer , who announced in March 2022 that he would sit out the band's concerts last year so he could "focus his full attention on his family during these uncertain times." Perry said: "That's probably one of the hardest things. I've gotta say drumming is probably one of the most athletic parts of playing in a band. So it's really hard. It's been mostly because he just physically [has been] just beating himself up over the last 50 years. So I don't know. I mean, he's still officially a member of the band, but I don't think he's gonna be sitting behind the drums, at least for this next run. Other than that, I really can't say."

Elsewhere in the 102.3 WBAB chat, Joe talked about the likelihood of new music from AEROSMITH . The legendary Boston rockers haven't released a new studio album since 2012's "Music From Another Dimension!" That effort was released when AEROSMITH 's label, Columbia Records , was reportedly going through a leadership change, and it ended up becoming a commercial disappointment.

"At this point, I can't say," Joe said about the prospect of a new AEROSMITH song or album. "I really don't know. But I know that we have a pile of material that hasn't been released. So I think we're focusing on that right now. But the main thing is just getting this tour up and running."

For the past year, AEROSMITH 's longtime drum tech John Douglas has been filling in on drums for Kramer , whose wife, Linda Gail Kramer , died last June at the age of 55. No cause of death has been revealed.

AEROSMITH played its first concert in more than two and a half years on September 4, 2022 in Bangor, Maine.

Prior to the show at Maine Savings Amphitheater, the band's last live performance took place in February 2020 in Las Vegas as part of AEROSMITH 's "Deuces Are Wild" residency.

In May 2022, AEROSMITH announced that singer Steven Tyler had entered a treatment program following a relapse, prompting the band to put their Las Vegas residency on a temporary hold.

Tyler had been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction since the mid-1980s. Over the course of the last four decades, he had relapsed several times, including in the early 2000s and 2009.

Joey has had his own health difficulties in recent years. Kramer suffered a health scare back in 2014, which was initially reported to be "heart-related complications".
