It's an absurd, unique environment full of laughs, banter and top-notch American diner-style grub! We pride ourselves on our terrible service, rated 1* by Karen herself! This is dining with a twist - the food is great, the service is ungrateful but your experience will be unforgettable.

What's on the menu?

KARMA. Get served what you deserve at Karen's Diner. If it's good enough for Eddie Hall it's good enough for you. The menu will be based on the venue you are attending.

Do I need to book?

Tickets MUST be booked online. One ticket per person, don't be a tight ass.

Are kids allowed?

We hate to see the selfish little stink-asses coming through the doors, but yes, they're allowed. However, no under 16's after 6PM.

Karen's Diner invites you for great burgers and rude service

The infamous Karen's Diner landed in Launceston this week, and warned patrons not to ask for the manager.

The diner which is home to 'great burgers and rude service' currently has multiple stores across Australia and the UK, with plans to expand into the US this year following a successful opening of their first American diner in St Louis.

A spokesperson for the company said customers could expect plenty of sass, great food and a hefty sprinkle of bad attitude.

"As Karen's Diner goes, the food is great, the service ungrateful but your experience will be unforgettable," they said.

"Don't expect special treatment at this diner because it's all about Karen, and she won't be taking any of your nonsense."

Iron Horse Bar and Grill events manager Lindelle Curran-Hrycyszyn said there were a lot of shocked faces on opening night.

"It was thoroughly amusing watching people's faces when they got told to sit the eff down," Ms Hrycyszyn said.

"But they played lots of games and had some good interactions, and involved the crowd with things."

She said it's been well received and has sold out multiple nights since opening Thursday.

"All the bookings from Thursday night, Friday night and all of Saturday have sold out," Ms Hrycyszyn said.

"They added extra events because the first one sold out so quickly, so we've got bookings on April 21 and 22 as well."

Ms Hrycyszyn said they were always looking for new events to host.

"We always want to do different things," Ms Hrycyszyn said.

"We've had murder mystery nights, the Magic Men shows and comedy nights so we thought we'd give Launceston something different."

"We'll continue to try and find lots of different things to bring to Launceston for patrons come and enjoy."

She said customers could expect a lot of swearing, some giggles and a good time.

"If it works out well and people are interested in coming again we might look at doing some more in the future," Ms Hrycyszyn said.

Karen's Diner is dishing up burgers with a side of insults until April 22.

This will be the most fun you've had eating burgers, ever., about karens.

Karens is an interactive diner and an absurdly fun experience. At Karens you will be greeted and waited upon by rude waiters and forced to play a variety of stupid games.  You can expect good food, good fun and a dining experience like you've never had before. Let us know if it's your birthday, if your name is Karen and for the love of Karen don't ask to speak to the manager....

P.S if your name is actually Karen we will give you a free drink - bring some ID.

100% RUDE STAFF

Our staff are rude and our manners are non-existent. Come on, ask for the manager... WE DARE YOU.

We also make some kick-ass burgers, wings, fries and tasty cholesterol-heavy bites.

Fantastic cocktails, good beer, sometimes chilled (never chilled staff). Come on in hun!

• How Can I Book A Table? To book into a Karen's please either use the booking tool on the website or visit the locations page to secure your spot. If no availability is showing this means we are fully booked. If this happens you can try to walk-in but please note we cannot guarantee a seat and there may be long wait times.
• How Can I Amend My Booking? Open up your OpenTable booking and use the message feature with your reservation to inform us of changes - the team will then see if they can adjust for your group. You can also email [email protected] to change your reservation size.
• Can I Walk In? We can't stop you but we do encourage everyone to try and book online. We are extremely busy (go us) and therefore waits can be large and tables are not guaranteed without a booking.
• Do You Cater For Dietaries? Please check our menu in your location to see the different options we have but in general we do offer gluten free buns, vegetarian and vegan (lol) options. Our Melbourne & Sydney store also have Halal meat.
• I Want To Book A Large Group Or Private Event Aren't you popular? That's great though, really. If your group is too big for a regular old table booking on OpenTable then please fill in the form on the hire page.
• Is There A Minimum Age To Attend? At Karen's we require under 14s to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for our lunch service, while under 16s must be with a parent or guardian for dinner! Please note that language may be offensive and inappropriate - we do encourage anyone under 18 years to attend prior to 5pm.
• I Am A Karen Welcome home Kaz. If your name is actually Karen then flash your ID for a drink on us. If you're a Karen by nature not name, come on down hun.
