Legendary actor and comedian Adam Sandler is making a tour stop in Des Moines this fall.

Wells Fargo Arena announced on Wednesday that Sandler, a former Saturday Night Live cast member who's starred in dozens of classic comedies, including "Happy Gilmore" and "Big Daddy" and "Grown Ups," will bring his "I Missed You Tour" to the city on Monday, Nov. 13.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7:30 show, which will include a surprise guest, according to the announcement.

Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, Sept. 15.

Comedy legend Adam Sandler is coming to Des Moines this November.

The "Happy Gilmore" and "Grown Ups" star will bring his classic brand of comedy to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on Monday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. during his upcoming 25-city "The I Missed You Tour." The North American tour will take place from October to December this year.

In recent years, Sandler has stretched his acting talents to more dramatic roles, including his turn as a risky jeweler in the 2019 film "Uncut Gems" and 2022's sports comedy "Hustle" where he played a basketball scout.

The "Saturday Night Live" alum's "I Missed You" tour follows this year's earlier successful run of shows on his "Adam Sandler LIVE" comedy tour. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 15 at noon on Hy-VeeTix.com.

A legendary comedian whose films might be some of your favorite comedies is coming to the Hawkeye state just in time for the Thanksgiving season. That couldn't be more fitting, given his love for turkey .

Adam Sandler is coming to the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA on Monday, November 13th. The  Saturday Night Live funnyman is bringing his "I Missed You Tour" to the area just in time for the new year.

"Let's have some fun,"  Sandler posted on Twitter/X  on September 13th, announcing a full slate of shows that will see him perform everywhere from Fresno to Anaheim, Milwaukee, Memphis, San Antonio, Las Vegas, and as mentioned, Des Moines on November 13th .

Sandler just recently finished his "Adam Sandler LIVE" tour earlier this year, so he's looking to double-back to some familiar locations as well as some new spots, such as the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Adam Sandler hardly needs an introduction. After a wildly successful stint on  Saturday Night Live , Sandler became a staple in comedy movies throughout the nineties:  Billy Madison , Happy Gilmore ,  and  The Waterboy   to name a few. More recently, Sandler's films have been released on Netflix as part of a $250 million multi-picture deal . His newest film,  You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah , stars his two daughters.

Where Can You Get Tickets?:

Tickets for Adam Sandler 's "I Missed You Tour" go on sale  this Friday, September 15th at 12pm via Hy-Vee Tix . It's imperative to note that this show is  for mature audiences only , and those under 16-years-old will not be allowed to attend. The Wells Fargo Arena doors open at 6pm on Monday, November 13th, with the show starting at 7:30pm.

Adam Sandler announces new comedy tour: Here are the cities he is visiting

Adam Sandler will take his unique brand of humor to live audiences across the country.

The funnyman and father of two has announced a new tour called "The I Missed You Tour" that will kick off in October.

Sandler, who r eceived the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor earlier this year, shar ed the news in a video posted on Instagram Sept. 13 that featured a snippet of videos and photos of him onstage.

"Let’s have some fun," the entertainer captioned the post. The new venture comes on the heels of his "Adam Sandler Live" tour which finished earlier this year, as well as the releases of “You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah” and "Murder Mystery 2 . "

Where will Sandler perform?

Sandler's 25-city tour kicks off Oct. 12 in Canada, when he takes the stage in Vancouver, British Columbia. It wraps up exactly two months later in Denver. Here's a look at all the dates and locations for his shows:

You might be so not invited to Adam Sandler ‘s daughter’s bar mitzvah, but the comedian is giving his fans ample opportunity to see him live this fall. On Wednesday (Sept. 13), Live Nation announced that Sandler is set to embark on a 25-date North American trek titled the I Missed You Tour .

Adam Sandler to Receive 2023 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor

Sandler has charted five titles on the Billboard 200 , peaking with 1999’s Stan and Judy’s Kid at No. 16, while his “Chanukah Song” peaked at No. 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1999. Earlier this year, Sandler was honored with the 2023 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor .

Through a Live Nation presale, fans will be able to purchase tickets to the I Missed You Tour beginning Thursday at noon local time. The general sale starts Friday at noon local time.

Adam Sandler is back on tour and hitting the road for a slate of North American comedy shows through the end of the year. Starting in October, Sandler will start his 25-city “The I Missed You Tour,” produced by Live Nation, and is set to debut a “surprise guest” at its opening show at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on Oct. 12. The tour will then head to the U.S., making stops in Seattle, Portland, Washington, Las Vegas and Memphis, Tenn. before wrapping up at Denver’s Ball Arena on Dec. 12.

This continues to be a big year for Adam Sandler , who is set to embark on a North American comedy tour on the heels of releasing one of the best-reviewed films of his career.

Live Nation announced Wednesday that the star is set to embark on the 25-city I Missed You tour, which launches Oct. 12 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Its final date is set for Dec. 12 at Denver’s Ball Arena.

Adam sandler spreads the love in trailer for netflix comedy special from director josh safdie, comedian mitch hedberg to be subject of documentary film 20 years after death.

The star himself took to Instagram to share a promotional video for the shows, along with the caption, “Let’s have some fun.”

Sandler is staying busy with a multitude of projects, which includes starring opposite Jennifer Aniston in Netflix’s Murder Mystery 2 , released in March. More recently, he joined his daughters Sunny Sandler and Sadie Sandler, along with wife, Jackie Sandler, in the coming-of-age comedy You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah , which hit Netflix last month and currently holds an impressive 92 percent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter , My Bat Mitzvah director Sammi Cohen praised Sandler for the support he provided to everyone involved with the film.

“He’s hilarious, and he’s always making everything funnier,” Cohen said. “He really gave everyone space to do their thing, but when people needed support, he was there. He’s wearing multiple hats — producing, acting, being an actual dad. It’s almost inhuman. Nothing suffers — he does it all 110 percent.”

Wells Fargo Arena, which is owned by Polk County and professionally  managed by  OVG360 , a division of Oak View Group, is a 17,000 seat arena that opened July 12, 2005. The arena is part of the Iowa Events Center complex, which also includes Hy-Vee Hall and the Community Choice Convention Center. Each year Wells Fargo Arena hosts the Iowa High School State Wrestling and Girls and Boys Basketball Tournaments. Adam Sandler's I Missed You Tour: Everything We Know

The comedy legend is hitting the road once again.

Sandler has been incredibly busy since he proved his acting chops in 2019's Uncut Gems . The former Saturday Night Live! comedian has been popping out Netflix films like a factory, including Hustle , Home Team , Hubie Halloween, Murder Mystery, and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah , where he stars alongside his real-life daughters. This summer, he also produced Netflix's The Out-Laws , which stars Adam Devine and Pierce Brosnan.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets to the I Missed You Tour starting on Thursday, September 14, 2023, through a special Live Nation presale. The general sale will follow on Friday. Sandler also shared some snippets of his stand-up in an Instagram video, captioning the post with a simple message: "Let’s have some fun."

Today, critically acclaimed comedian Adam Sandler announces The I Missed You Tour, a massive 25 city run across North America. Adam Sandler will perform at Blue Cross Arena on Wednesday, November 8. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on Oct 12th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC making stops in Portland, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Memphis, Toronto and more before wrapping up in Denver, CO at Ball Arena on December 12. The announcement of this run follows his success of Adam Sandler LIVE sold out shows earlier this year.

(Gray News) – Adam Sandler has announced a North American comedy tour with 25 stops this fall and winter.

On Wednesday, Sandler announced the “I Missed You Tour,” which will kick off in Canada on Oct. 12 and end in Denver on Dec. 12.

Christian-pop duo For King + Country brings 2024 tour to Wells Fargo Arena this fall

The Grammy-winning group For King + Country returns to Iowa for a show at the Wells Fargo Arena in October.

For King + Country comes to Des Moines on Oct. 5 as part of the “For King and County Live: The Unsung Hero 2024 Tour.”

The Christian-pop duo, composed of Australian brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, are behind songs “God Only Knows,” “For God Is With Us” and “Burn The Ships.”

They helped kick off day one of the Iowa State Fair in 2023 with a Grandstand performance, but that wasn’t their first concert there.

Luke Smallbone described the State Fair as being “world-renowned” and discussed the album “What Are We Waiting For?” in an interview with the Des Moines Register last year.

The Smallbones' journey from Australia to America is the subject of a new movie, "Unsung Hero," that has Joel Smallbone portraying his father.
