Our Costa Rica tour guide Luis Gonzalez was outstanding. He attended to every detail in a most hospitable way. The entire week’s experience exceeded our expectations in all categories. Our trip to Finland was well organized…

Our trip to Finland was well organized and managed! Hotel Lila Robert’s was lovely, breakfast fantastic, location great! We loved our guide taking us through and around great spots in Helsinki, laying a path we revisited on our own when we returned from Lapland’s Kakslauttanen Resort. Thoroughly enjoyed the lodging(kelo log cabin with glass domed igloo) and the excursions particularly the dog sled adventure. Wanted more of Sami culture information and contact.

Wonderful Trip to Egypt and Jordan

From start to finish we received excellent service from the guides, drivers, and all the A & R staff. The trip included most everything including hotels, many meals, admission tickets and more. This was an amazing trip with a lot of special things that were included such as a cooking school, and a lunch with a Bedouin family. This was a bucket list trip (Egypt and Jordan) and we saw so many wonderful sights. The trip was personalized for us. We will definitely book another trip with A & R.

Helsinki and the Arctic forest are magical in the winter

It was a great trip to Helsinki and Kakslauttanen in the Arctic forest. The food in the dining room was mediocre, two of my four dinners were Luke warm and needed to be sent back. The reception staff at the main lodge was inexperienced and had trouble with English( they are staffed from all over the world , yet English was a challenge for many. In Helsinki the Hotel Lilla Roberts was truly nice, except for turning on the shower required getting wet . Good location, nice breakfast and dinners at the hotel . Nice staff.

Magical Morocco

The overall planning and our guide, Mustafa, made this trip unforgettable. Morocco truly is magical and the people are warm and genuine. We visited right after the earthquake and the local agency adapted very well to substitute visits for the few places we could not go. And did I mention the food? Amazing!

Travel with ease! Alexander Roberts takes care of us from beginning to end in small group friendly fashion.

Our Expedition Cruise to Alaska-Northbound in July, 2023 was our 4th trip with Alexander Roberts/AAA. This was our first cruise. The other trips were small group. Our expedition guide reminded us we were on an expedition and not an ordinary cruise. With the encouragement of the guides, we went on zodiacs, which we loved, took part in scientific talks onboard, visited small towns and learned from the indigenous people about their history, lives, and environment. It was a unique experience which is typical of AR.

Service Above And Beyond

HOLY LAND tour with customized trips to Cairo and Dubai. Exceptional in all aspects. Service more than met our expectations. Trouble getting e mail confirmation from Israel on flight to Tel Aviv from Cairo. Mohammad Mohammad our escort in Cairo stayed with us and worked diligently to solve problem. Covid testing was a hassle but A/R made all arrangements and it was handled expertly. We have already begun our next trip with A/R. Service and ability to customize trip ie truly exceptional!

Northern Italy and Emilia-Romagna

We are just returning from our 12 day Safari in Kenya and Tanzania. What an amazing trip. The land, the people, the wildlife and culture was absolutely Amazing. Custom Italian Tour

Alexander & Roberts developed a custom tour of Italy based on our specifications (Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples). A&R did all of the planning, the travel logistics and secured the daily local guides. A&R recommend several hotels in each city giving us the final choices. Everything worked flawlessly for the entire 15 day trip; all of the guides were superb, with lots of location knowledge and a clear passion for their city/subject. Each day had a structured 4-6 hour tour leaving the afternoon and evening for self exploration; this combination worked very well for us. This was the trip of our dreams and A&R’s execution of every detail made it a wonderful experience.
