Description

There are sea caves and archways to explore, with numerous waterfalls falling directly into the ocean. Sealife abounds, including spinner and spotted dolphins, monk seals, and Hawaiian green sea turtles. Humpback whales are often seen during the winter months! Ocean rafting is a popular way to explore this coastline, but those tours aren't for everyone. That's the niche of Blue Ocean Adventures Power Catamaran ... they offer the adventure of a raft in the form factor of a more comfortable boat with shade and rest rooms on board.

Blue Ocean Adventures offer a huge advantage over most other companies on Kauai because of the proximity of the departure point to the Na Pali Coast. They depart from the Kiki'aola small boat harbor west of Waimea, which cuts 20 minutes or so each way on the trip to the Na Pali compared to the boats that depart from the Port Allen Harbor. This increases the amount of time you have along the scenic Kona and Na Pali coasts and cuts down on the time getting there and back ... and cuts a little time off the overall tour but still gets the same experience. Tours operate from this west side location all year.

This vessel is fast ... powered by FOUR 250 horsepower Yamaha engines ... and FUN with an inflatable water slide deployed during snorkeling.

MORNING TOURS are offered all year at 7:30am. The morning tour is popular with early risers and the ocean (and wind) is typically a little more calm on the morning tour.

The morning tour includes snorkel gear and a really nice meal featuring pulled pork, teriyaki chicken, and garlic shrimp ... veggie option is available by request.

What to Bring and Wear: Wear swimsuits and bring a towel and sunscreen.

Minimum Notice for Cancellation / Changes: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the event.

One huge advantage of Blue Ocean's tour is that their powered catamaran leaves from Kikiaola Harbor, which is just past Waimea town on the island's west side. This is a longer drive than going to Port Allen where most other boats depart, but the longer drive is worth it. It cuts down on the length of the boat ride to reach the Na Pali ... and you don't miss any scenery along the way as the area between Port Allen and Waimea is the least interesting part of most Na Pali trips.

The 46 foot Armstrong catamaran offers comforts (shade and an on-board rest rooms) that you'd get on a larger boat, but it still offers a smaller passenger count than the larger catamarans. It has a smoother ride than the smaller zodiacs but it is fast enough to cover the Na Pali coast.

There are some days along the Na Pali, especially in the wintertime, when a huge north swell will prevent any raft from entering any of the sea caves. Just being close enough to witness these monster waves crashing on the cliffs is a spectacular experience. Occasionally in the wintertime conditions will not allow the raft to reach the Na Pali. If that's the case the captain will select an alternate destination along the south shore that is safe and offers a memorable day on the water. While the Na Pali is always their preferred destination, even on days when they can't get there they guarantee you a great time and a fun adventure. As a general rule if it is too rough for these guys to go to the Na Pali, it's too rough for any boats to go there.

As a resident of Hawaii, I consider the Na Pali coastline to be the most scenic and most sacred place in the islands. There are better places in Hawaii to snorkel but nothing compares with the dramatic scenery and raw natural beauty of this wild coastline.

Morning in the winter, and Evening in the summer! They said they don't even prefer to run the afternoon tours in the winter months, but in the summer if they get a good group, they said they sometimes stay out on the water until the stars come out!

Truly the best and deservedly a 5-star adventure tour company in Kaua'i! I'm not much of a water person (I prefer hiking adventures and experiences), but after doing my research, Blue Ocean Adventure Tours does such an excellent job of conducting their tours to the Na Pali Coast and they even offer Kama'aina discounts for the residents of Hawaii. They have a variety of Zodiac Tours and Catamaran Tours available. On my April 2024 visit, it was Captain Danny and Connor on this particular Zodiac Tour that features a beach landing and tour of Nualolo Kai (an ancient Hawaiian fishing village), and they are both awesome in their expertise and experience! They pointed out the waterfalls, various beaches and caves within Na Pali Coast! We even saw a pod of bottlenose dolphins on the way to Na Pali Coast and then back to the harbor, and also saw some sea turtles on the beach at Nualolo Kai. Just make sure you are always following the safety protocol and especially on these 24 ft. Zodiac rafts, as they are high speed, and there are rough waves and unpredictable ocean conditions; it is physically strenuous. Lots of photo opportunities and lots of fun along the way! Totally recommend and certainly hope to do another tour with Blue Ocean Adventures down the road!

When someone in our group booked this boat tour, I was a little skeptical--I don't love being on the water. But after our five-hour coast adventure, this Blue Ocean Adventure Tour was one of my top highlights from my trip to Kauai! Our crew were fun and provided a nice history of Kauai, pointing out caves and waterfalls and beaches along the Nāpali Coast. Though it's not guaranteed, we saw several whales, a pod of nearly 100 dolphins, and a sea turtle on our ride too! For those who want to, there are a couple of opportunities to swim in the ocean, and there's even a giant slide off of the big boat. The crew provides chips, drinks (no alcohol), and pineapple topped with Li Hing Mui powder, which was my very favorite. I can't stop talking about this adventure with my family and friends and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a fun time on Kauai!

We had a 5 star experience with Aka, Mana and Kaylen. While our original north shore tour was changed due to rough seas, we really enjoyed our south shore tour with Aka, Mana and Kaylen. We saw several pods of dolphins!! Three whales and multiple turtles! Lots of rainbows and history of the island Best of all, the captains were beyond hopsitable, responsible and downtight funny! The reason we recommend blue ocean tours is they are very transparent, responsive and lighthearted. Aka, Mana and Kaylen take their jobs very seriously and do them with pride! We would definitely tour with them again.

This was our second time enjoying the Napali coast with Blue Ocean. We cannot recommend them enough. Seeing the coast on a Zodiak is absolutely incredible. Steven & AJ were our tour guides this time and they were awesome. Steven was super knowledgeable about all things Kauai and his energy was infectious!!! 5/5 stars and 10/10 recommend!! Go book now!

We went out on the boat with captains Aka and Mana this weekend. Let me tell you, these guys know how to have a good time! From the early morning start till the end of the trip, it was non-stop good fun! Great service, very knowledgeable, true masters of their craft. Humpback whales, spinner dolphins, turtles, the whole 9 yards. Highly recommend these guys for your next trip!

The beautiful Napali coast

Yes, the scenery is breath taking but over 5 hours of getting your ass pounded on a rubber boat was intense. The captain definitely makes you understand you're not Hawaiian, with little comments like "oh look, it's the state bird....the helicopter". it's funny how much the resent the "mainland" but rely on it for their paychecks. I will say that the lunch provided was excellent but i would have rather had a two hour coastal view there and back vs what we did. If you're personality is not the life of the party be warned....they speak in pigeon and pau'ole isn't a decent word. I'd much rather pay for a helicopter tour, see the island, and not be demonized for not being Hawaiian.

Embarking on a voyage with Blue Ocean Adventures was like getting into an aquatic Indiana Jones escapade! Captain Mads and Grace were the dynamic duo steering us through twists and turns that would make Dr. Jones himself envious. Hold on to those ropes, though - this adventure isn't for the faint-hearted! Mads brought us through sea caves, expertly gliding through narrow openings with some wild speed. The beauty of the caves' interiors was breathtaking. The adrenaline rush? Absolutely unforgettable! But the highlight was, of course, seeing the postcard-worthy Na Pali Coast. Kudos to Grace for snapping some awesome mid-air photos of us as we leaped from the boat with the coast as the background! Sightings of wildlife is never guaranteed, but our trip was simply "fin"-tastic! We sailed alongside sooo many playful dolphins and sea turtles! Tons of fish were swimming with us while we snorkeled. Mads and Grace didn't just captain the ship - they rocked the boat, DJ-style! Their music selection transformed the boat into a floating club that left us all "tide" up in dance & good vibes! So, to sum it up, Blue Ocean Adventures with Mads and Grace was an adventure that even Indiana Jones would swap his fedora for. The heart-pounding excitement, wildlife encounters, and unexpected DJ beats made it a journey of a lifetime. Mads and Grace deserve waaaay more than Five stars! They gave us the "Best Day Ever!"

We booked this excursion from a recommendation and it did not disappoint! The sights were beyond words beautiful!!! Our guides Aka and Steve made our experience that much better. They shared all their knowledge of the area and made sure all of the people on the tour got great photos to commemorate their trip. The vibe was great, good music, singing, delicious fresh cut pineapple, and laughing the entire time. We were fortunate to see sea turtles, whales and an amazing pod of dolphins (who put on a fabulous show). Aka and Steve made sure they took every opportunity to allow us to see these amazing animals. I would recommend this tour and especially Aka and Steve to everyone thinking of seeing the coast. If I could give more stars I would!

Kai was a great crewman. He was so helpful to me and others and kept the fun going. Great pineapple, too!

I used them for their zodiac tour. This was such an incredible experience. The views are incredible. The guides made it so much fun. They told a lot of history about the island which was very informative. The guides made us feel safe and made the trip so much fun. Even without our guides the trip would be worth it. They are icing on the cake. The views from the zodiac are otherworldly.

The History of Moscow City - Russia

Moscow is said to date back eight-and-a half-centuries, with the first references to it in chronicles from 1147. It was built by the Prince of Suzdal- Yuri Dolgoruky on the high Borovitsky Hill where the Neglinnaya River flows into the Moskva River. Later in 1367 Dmitry Donskoy erected great Kremlin ramparts of white stone, henceforward Moscow became known as Belokamennaya (White Stone City)

From its beginnings as a hunting village, it grew steadily into a fortress city, to become later the central point of the whole Russian state.

For centuries Moscow has been a treasure house of carefully preserved national tradition. All the Russian Tsars and Emperors were crowned here in Russia’s main cathedral, the ancient Cathedral of the Dormition. Our prominent rulers of the Russian Empire: Peter the Great and Catherina the Great came to Moscow to celebrate Russian military victories.

Russia’s most intense human aspirations, be they artistic, religious or political, have found their most passionate expression in Moscow.
