First, we went to Dubrovnik since we are huge Game Of Thrones fans and then we visited Montenegro this august and we are so happy we had Miro from Miro and Sons to show us around. He was such a nice gentleman full of knowledge and passion for his country. We learned so much and the best of all now we have friends in Montenegro!!

Magdalena K.

My wife and I spent a week in Montenegro and booked a few tours with Miro and Sons. All of the tours were amazing with beautiful views and we learned a lot from our tour guide, Stefan! We loved his passion and his knowledge of this part of the world! This was a great choice and we would recommend this travel agency to anyone visiting Montenegro!

Really nice hospitality and a really good offer. We first visited Herceg Novi but decided to stay longer in Kotor. I would recommend it to everyone. The tours are good, and the guides are very knowledgeable. For wintertime, it was great, and the guys helped us to find a place for nightlife.

Mamula Island

Mamula island, Montenegro is also known as Lastavica. Mamula island is uninhabited island in the Adriatic sea. The island belongs to the municipality of Herceg Novi. This is truly a magic destination and you will be impressed with its beauty and the seascapes opening from the top of Mamula island.

In Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor, there is a settlement called Risan. It has roots in the oldest settlement in the Bay of Kotor, the prehistoric Rhizon. The settlement, which was located in the interior of the bay, was shielded from the open sea by several tiny straits in the Bay of Kotor and by impassable limestone cliffs of the Orjen mountain range.

tours kotor

In Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor, there lies a historic town called Perast. It is famous for its proximity to the islets of St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks and is located a few kilometers northwest of Kotor.

Venetian-era defenses surround the historic port city of Kotor in the Mediterranean. It is situated on the Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), one of the Adriatic Sea’s most incised regions. Although it is actually a ria, a submerged river canyon, some have referred to it as the southernmost fjord in Europe. Kotor and the surroundings around it make up a spectacular landscape, along with the practically overhanging limestone cliffs of Orjen and Loven.

South of Mount Vrmac in the center of the Bay of Kotor is where you’ll find Tivat. The municipality, which is primarily to the south of the town, has an exit to the open sea at the popular tourist destination Prno inlet close to Radovii hamlet.

A peninsula called Lutica may be found in southwest Montenegro at the mouth of the Bay of Kotor, in the southern Adriatic Sea. The Adriatic Sea and Tivat Bay are effectively divided by it.

tours kotor

One of the must-see sights in Montenegro while you’re on the coast is the Blue Cave. It always makes an impression! The Blue Cave, one of many sea caverns on the Lutica Peninsula, is the biggest. It is known as the Blue Cave because the entire cave appears blue when light reflects off the water and the sandy bottom.

Wondering what to do in Kotor?

A Kotor walking tour is an excellent way to get to know this charming and picturesque town in the Bay of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Thereā€™s so much history, culture and heritage contained within these ancient walls, a Kotor walking tour is a must if you want to get the most out of your visit to Montenegroā€™s extraordinary walled city.

RATING: 5 / 5 (11+ reviews) | TOUR LENGTH: 1.5 hours | BOOK NOW

This group tour takes 1 Ā½ hours and visits all the top sights in Kotor old town. Unlike shorter tours, it includes a guided tour of 9th century St Tryphon Cathedral, which is one of the top sights in Kotor and well worth visiting.

It also includes a complimentary charcoal coffee experience - this is the only place in the world you can try this kind of coffee!

"I picked the private tour and my guide, Radosav, was very good. He patiently answered all my questions, gave me some useful tips and even walked me to the only vegan restaurant in Kotor. The tour was just the right duration - not too long and not too short - and was a great way to start my holiday in Kotor. As a local, Radosav gave me some insight into what it's like to live in Kotor and he didnt just rattle off history/facts like most guides do. This felt more like a walk around Kotor with a friend. I recommend doing a private tour because some of the group tours I saw had very large groups. And if you can, ask for Radosav!" - Rohan V. ( read more reviews )

This gives you the chance not only to discover Kotor's beautiful old town, but also to try traditional Montenegrin cuisine.

The tour starts with a 1-hour walking tour of Kotor old town. It also includes a visit to Kotor's open-air market. Kotor's market has been popular since the town was an important trade port. Today, the farmers market is still the best place to buy local produce like figs, olives and fish.

This tour ends with a chat with your guide over a delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses paired with Montenegrin wines. Traditionally, this kind of platter is served to guests in Montenegro as a sign of respect and welcome.

"The tour was incredible, very informative, interactive and interesting. Enjoyed every moment and the food tasting of the local cuisine was fun and delicious. Bogdan the guide was amazing, knew every bit of the area, very knowledgeable, smart and funny. Highly recommended if you donā€™t have much time to spend and want a short but to the point." - Saar Ben, Israel ( read more reviews )

Dawn of the Jedi symbol

Official Timeline: The Eras of Star Wars

Every saga has a beginning, middle, and end. The stories of the galaxy far, far away span thousands of years, with eras defined along a mythological timeline giving context to its past, present, and future. As Star Wars continues to expand and evolve, these eras provide a sense of scope to an epic tale still being told.

Dawn Of The Jedi

The old republic.

The Republic is founded among the worlds of the Galactic Core, and the Jedi Order emerges to protect it. A schism within the Jedi leads to the creation of the Sith in this epic era.

The High Republic

Under the protection of the Jedi Knights and the wise rule of the Senate , the Republic grows into a golden age. The vast Outer Rim beckons the intrepid seeking to discover new worlds and spread the optimism of the Republic.

Fall of the Jedi

A long forgotten menace returns as a Sith lord orchestrates a devastating conflict, plunging the galaxy into full scale war with the Jedi Knights at the frontlines.

Reign of the Empire

Through treachery and deception, the Galactic Empire rules unchallenged and grows in military might. A scant few Jedi survivors retreat into the shadows as they are hunted down mercilessly.

Age of Rebellion

Outnumbered, the Rebellion spreads across the galaxy. Rebel heroes fan the flickering light of hope in a heroic stand against the evil Galactic Empire .

The New Republic

The Empire has been defeated, and the emergent New Republic faces the great challenge of rebuilding and reuniting the galaxy. It is a tentative and fragile peace, threatened by the remnants of the Empire.

Rise of the First Order

In secret, the legacy of the Empire transforms into the First Order and strikes a devastating blow against the New Republic . A fledgling Resistance and new generation of heroes are left to stand against a resurrected enemy.
