Popular tourist destinations are looking to utilize OOH with JCDecaux's top U.S. airports!

Mother’s Day weekend showed a pandemic air travel high with roughly 5 million travelers going through TSA checkpoints across the country. According to a AAA Travel forecast, 37 million Americans are expected to travel this Memorial Day weekend as air travel numbers have continued a steady upward trajectory. While domestic travel has been very high in recent weeks across the U.S., international travel is picking up more as destinations across the world are opening their borders to Americans.

New Hampshire at BOS

In response to the high air traffic, major domestic and international tourist markets are looking to OOH to draw consumers in. Saint Lucia Tourism, Peru Tourism and New Hampshire Tourism are the latest boards of tourism who have teamed up with JCDecaux to attract consumers in busy airports across the country. By utilizing our airport advertising units, brands can take advantage of long wait times and remain top of mind throughout consumers’ journeys and beyond.

  • National averages demonstrate that public transportation produces significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions per passenger mile than private vehicles, it is the single greatest way to reduce carbon footprint and one of the most immediate multimodal strategies that encompass physical and operation improvements. However public transportation is designed to do more than improve traffic flow and reduce emissions it also provides social and economic benefits.
  • Public Transportation plays a critical role in everyday life for Angelenos. Nearly 75% of public transit riders in Los Angeles rely on buses as their “go to” mode of transportation. LA Metro buses make roughly 1.3 million trips daily , connecting Angelenos to their jobs, schools, homes, food, family, friends, and cultural entertainment.
  • Bus shelters are transit amenities serving commuters on their daily trips. They are also an integral part of urban planning solutions that advance transportation equity metrics for all transportation, planning, and mobility objectives and improve access, safety, and sustainability and congestion to make for more livable communities and complete streets
  • Through Public-Private Partnership, we,  Outfront/Decaux, we provide, build, and maintain over 2,400 bus shelters to date, serving more than 200,000 Metro transit riders a day, and over 1 million weekly throughout Los Angeles .
  • Transit amenities make public transportation experiences more comfortable and will continue to do so as long as we continue to support and progress mobility and transit policy goals within the First and Last Mile Strategic Plan, Measure M, Mobility Plan 2025 and so on so forth.

  • Some of our newer “Smart Shelters” are equipped to serve transit users with USB charging ports, free Wi-Fi, real-time next bus arrival information, and push-to-talk buttons for the visually impaired and have been designed to be more sustainable in using less energy (LED lighting) or solar energy. Adding smart technology, sustainable practices and other public services are key to enhancing those first/last mile connections.
  • Bus shelters serve as an equitable place-making element in every neighborhood, addressing inequities in underserved neighborhoods, and providing acceptable levels of mobility for all those who work, travel and live in Los Angeles.
  • We are Outfront/Decaux Street Furniture, a joint venture between Outfront Media and JCDecaux North America. Transit rider needs come first, our methodology of implementing urban services and transit amenities to enrich the urban transit experience and revitalize public space at no extra cost to municipalities comes second.
  • Through the marketing of advertising media panels on the side of our street furniture, we are able to finance the City’s P3 program as well as share a portion of the advertising revenue with the City on an annual basis.
  • Transit amenities such as bus shelters, seating, and shade structures, daily maintenance, and community activations, enhance transit rider experiences at bus stops across Los Angeles.
  • Today Outfront/Decaux manages street furniture agreements with over 14 cities located in the LA County area.

Jcdecaux wins the renewal of the exclusive advertising contracts for hong kong mtr* and airport express.

PARIS , Jan. 19, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- JCDecaux SA (Euronext Paris: DEC), the number one outdoor advertising company worldwide, announced today that JCDecaux Pearl & Dean, a 100% sister company (hereinafter called "JCDecaux Transport") has won the renewal of its exclusive advertising contracts with MTR Corporation for the operation and management of advertising across a total of eight MTR* lines including Airport Express, as well as the non-exclusive rights to sell and promote MTR Mobile advertising. The renewed contracts are effective from 1 st January 2024 to 31 st December 2028 with the option for renewal extending up to a total of 10 years.

JCDecaux Transport, the number 1 OOH company in Hong Kong **, has been named the No.1 Out-of-home (OOH) media company in Hong Kong for 11 consecutive years^ by Marketing Magazine and has also won the "Market Leadership Award" from the Hong Kong Institute of Marketing for 4 consecutive years. MTR* advertising in Hong Kong is widely recognized as the world's leading metro advertising medium in terms of innovation, technology, data-driven approach, professionalism and service quality.
