Radius Tours specializes in certain tours that can only be booked on a private basis: such as, for example, Jewish Munich, the Eagle’s Nest in Berchtesgaden, the Tegernsee lake district, or the Romantic Road. In addition to standard walking and bike tours, private tours by car and bus are also offered. Private tours can incorporate collection at the hotel and lunch at request. Bike Rental The Radius premises in the central station also incorporate a large and popular bike rental. There are 180 bikes including city and trekking bicycles. Munich is one of Europe’s greatest cycle cities, with miles of bike paths covering the historical old town, parks, gardens and riverbank. Visitors will be supplied with maps and personal advice.

Our affordable bike rental is located right in the centre of town in the Central Train Station. We offer you a wide range of bikes to choose from, and our friendly English-speaking staff give you tips on what to see and where to go and can provide you with accessories and maps.

We currently offer three categories:

7-Speed City

As a step-through or with a cross bar – the ideal bike for all rides and tours within the city and the immediate vicinity. With 7 speed internal hub gearing, you are more than well equipped for the almost hill free routes of Munich. Available in a variety of sizes for riders from small to tall.

8-Speed Sport

Planning a longer tour out to the lakes, into the foothills of the Alps or on the Isar Trail to Passau? Our 8-speed sports bikes are a better option. With disc brakes and the lubrication-free belt drive, you can also venture safely through the mountains. Planning a longer tour? You can include panniers and/or handlebar bags via a booking option should you not have your own.

When you want to make pedaling a bit easier. Our step-through frame pedelecs from the German bicycle manufacturer Bergamont will fit riders of nearly all sizes, genders, heights, and weights . W ith the proven drive system of the market leader Bosch they offer a range of about 80 km. For tours of or longer rentals, a charger is included in the price.

Children’s bikes for children up to 13 years of age in wheel sizes 18-26? are half price with concurrent rental of adult bike(s). For 1-3 days you can find them as a booking option after you select adult bikes. Under Extras, you will also find options to add child’s seat and/or trailer bike (tag-a-long) to city bikes. For longer rental periods just call or email our team.

Don‘t worry if the   available commencement times don’t suit. Booked bikes remain reserved for  the  entire first day of rental period and  you can   also utilize  the  comments section to let us know if  your  ETA is much later than  the l ast available time slot of 11am.

• Chevron down How do I complete an online booking for a time period longer than 7 days?

Our booking system is designed for the majority of our rentals which are for shorter time periods but we do of course also cater for our less frequent longer term rentals. You simply select the item “7 Days (or longer) Bike Rental” and extend the rental period by the required number of extra days via a booking option applied to each bike:

If you complete a booking, our system will confirm in a similar fashion , which will quote only a 7 day period  in the heading, but with notations below confirming the extension of the rental period for each bike .
