Amazing bike tour

It was a great bike tour. Ivan is an amazing and spontaneous guide, adapting the tour to everyone's physical condition.

Ivan was really very knowledgeable and funny made us feel at ease and helped the less able in our group. The tour around the island was really interesting he had a lot of good facts. We went for a swim for 45 minutes which was really amazing. Overall I can highly recommend this kayaking trip.

Beautiful scenery and a great guide. Went with wife and kids (12 and 10) and Ivan advised we should go in double kayaks (he was definitely right!) All had a lovely time paddling to the island then snorkelling and touring around before paddling back at dusk. Lovely that it is just your group so can go at a pace that suits you.

Can’t thank Ivan and his team enough for a great experience today. The kayaking was great fun, our first time doing anything like it, and the tour round the island was lovely and interesting too! I would say if you’re in the area, it’s an absolute must do! The sunset on the way back was spectacular.

Recently did a Karika "Trip to the History of Vodice" bike ride. The proprietor, Ivan, was our guide on this fabulous ride through the Vodice countryside to visit some of the nearby historic sites which included remains of Roman settlement, rural churches and a fabulous restored "bunja", a workers shelter. Ivan was an enthusiastic and fascinating guide and the bikes were a delight. This was certainly one of the highlights of our Vodice visit.

Highly recommend a bike tour with Ivan of Marika bike and adventure tours in Vodice, Croatia, amazing quality mountain bike....compared to my old bike at home, it felt like it was electric assisted, which of course it wasn't! We did the trip to the history of Vodice, which took us into the beautiful countryside and gentle hills around Vodice, going into ancient dry stone walled domed shelters, bunja? old chapels, a Roman hiiltop settlement. Ivan was really knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the people from the area,, who lived by agriculture until they moved to Vodice a few hundred years ago, but remain attached to the surrounding lands. Next time, we want to try a kayak trip to one of the nearby islands that also have a rich heritage....and good restaurants from what we hear!

With 8 friends all in our 40's with mixed mountain bike ability we put our faith in the team at Karika and followed thier all inclusive itinerary for 1 week. We started our week with mountain bike rides for the first three days, then the fourth day sea kayaking, along with a final bike ride on day 5 and then a day trekking in beautiful National Park Krka. The week just flowed naturally, there was never any rush and we got to experience parts of Croatia only local people would know about, including some of the best food any of us had ever eaten - we also went wine tasting! I really can't stress enough, this is more than just riding mountain bikes, it's a completely unique holiday that has shown us how exceptional Croatia is and we were looked after and treated so well by everyone at Karika. Without doubt we'll be going again as there's still plenty more routes and places to explore so we'll be there same time next year without a doubt!

Rented 2 great Orbea mountain bikes and did a couple of tours - one inland 30km and another to Murter 50Km+. Bikes were great, in very good condition and rode perfectly. Delivered to and collected from my apartment at times to suit me. Tours were also very good - interesting routes and the right pace and terrain for my skill level. Ivan is great guy to deal with - if you want to do some mountain biking speak to this company!

Ivan was accommodating, friendly, and very knowledgable of the local history. We had a grand time kayaking to Privc Island, walking around and even sat by the harbor and enjoyed a local beer. He is very helpful and made the trip very interesting and fun! It's a must do while you stay in Vodice; especially if you enjoy kayaking in the ocean.

We had a great day, the tour of approx. 18 km there and back was a bit sporty for me as a not exactly unsportsmanlike woman alone in the kayak and traveling alone with 2 grown men. 💪🏻😎 But that was the way I chose it alone to take a kayak and the extent of the distance and the manpower was not so clear to me. Ivan does his job as a guide very well, he provides very good equipment, knows a lot about the area, is calm and gives security and overall has a very pleasant personality that you warm to immediately. Personally, I would not have needed the fortress from the outside, but we were delighted with beautiful coasts and island groups, with regional beer during a short break at a beach bar, great weather, also wind and waves including 1x capsizing and a little sore muscles the next day. Many thanks again Ivan for this really great day! I really enjoyed my sore muscles!😅

We had an absolutely amazing time! Both Ivan and his team made sure we had the best time possible. Ivan is so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area- we learnt so much. My wife and I shared a kayak and it was just us and Ivan and another member of this team. We went at our own pace and was able to take in all the beautiful views. We went in April and it was so quiet on the island, really made you feel like a local with Ivan, chatting to locals and then explaining things as we walked around (in perfect English!) Cannot recommend this trip enough. So glad we booked it. 10/10. Keep up the great work.
