The production will run from November 18, 2022 through January 2, 2023 at Radio City Music Hall. The Christmas Spectacular, which has inspired and amazed more than 69 million people from around the world since it debuted in 1933, is a one-of-a-kind tradition where the magic of Christmas in New York comes alive. Tickets for the 2022 show are on sale now at www.rockettes.com . A staple of the holidays in New York City, the Christmas Spectacular stars the incomparable Radio City Rockettes, the longest-running precision dance company in America, admired worldwide for their talent, unity and athleticism, in addition to their iconic style of dance. The awe-inspiring production features intricate choreography and show-stopping numbers that leave audiences with a sense of wonder and amazement. With the return of the beloved lyrical number "Snow" in 2021, The Rockettes now perform in nine numbers throughout the 90-minute production - showcasing more technically complex and different styles of dance than ever before. In addition to performing in the Christmas Spectacular, The Rockettes appear annually in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, and have been featured as part of some of the biggest events in entertainment, including the Tony Awards, the MTV VMAs, the NYC Pride parade and on "Saturday Night Live." The Rockettes organization is committed to ensuring that The Rockettes line showcases greater diversity and that dancers from all backgrounds see themselves represented. To that end, the dance company is making important steps forward in opening the opportunity to more dancers by creating Rockettes Conservatory, expanding the height range of The Rockettes and establishing strong partnerships with diverse dance organizations. Rockettes Conservatory is an invite-only, week-long training program that offers intensive study in The Rockettes precision style while eliminating financial barriers to entry. The program, which began virtually in 2020 and is taking place in-person for the first time this summer, was designed as an investment in promising dancers' futures. In addition to becoming an inclusive talent pipeline for future Rockettes, conservatory ensures the dance company continues to evolve by attracting the best dancers from all backgrounds. In addition to Rockettes Conservatory, the organization expanded the height requirement this year - widening the range by an inch from 5'6"-5'10½" to 5'5"-5'10½" - to broaden the number of dancers eligible to become Rockettes. The dance company continues to foster relationships with diverse dance organizations, including Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH), Harlem School of the Arts (HSA), The Ailey School, International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) and The Chloé and Maud Foundation, to provide program support, introduce staff and students to the unique world of precision dance and actively engage with dancers for Rockettes Conservatory. "...Most holiday shows end up being a lot less different than they claim in advance, ever anxious to attract repeat buyers. The Radio City show, which opened in Rosemont on a Friday night when we all needed a little of the spirit of Christmas, really is quite different from the show that was here between 1997 and 2008 (although, alas, the music is still on tape; live musicians, as in New York, would be a most welcome change). In the first instance, the animals are gone from the famous Nativity scene (I had an affection for a particularly busy camel, but life in a trailer in Rosemont is no place for an ungulate in winter). So are the little people who once featured prominently in Santa's Workshop. In general, the streamlined show has a more contemporary and theatrical feeling - a kid on the stage now reads the introduction to the Nativity, replacing the Voice of God (or was that the mayor of Rosemont?) that once rang from the speakers. But the Living Nativity retains its force and dignity; and it ends with a new, rousing, Gospel-like finale, borrowing from Langston Hughes' "Black Nativity," even if the cast is not especially diverse."

"...Linda Haberman's "New York at Christmas," the show's big "new number," finds the Rockettes cavorting on a bright red double-decker sightseeing bus that appears to travel through midtown as it leaves Radio City, drives along Fifth Avevnue, passes Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral, enters a snow-dusted Central Park, and then heads back down Broadway to Times Square. The engaging ensemble of 12 non-Rockette dancers arrive for this number in a deft mix of street clothes, providing the show's only nod to ethnic diversity. They also are at the heart of the "Nutcracker" number in which they incongruously dance the ballet classic in giant bear costumes."

The discount codes that very specifically say, “***Discount Codes are usually available around October. If it is before October, then any codes you see above are from prior years that may or may not work***”? Is that what you mean by “all the information”? Please highlight, specifically, what else on the page is not updated for 2022 and also not noted as such. TY!

I tried EMNOV2 on literally EVERY single November show and it didnt work on anything. Am i doing something wrong or is the password incorrect? Someone please help! Just helping my grandpa get 4 tickets. Please someone help, I want 50% off for them!

Hi there! I’ve read this article a few times in the last few months but it’s showing it was updated just a few days ago and I’m not seeing new information. I was looking for a discount code now that it’s October but I’m not finding anything that works. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

Hi Amy – there is only 1 current discount code we have found in 2021. Because the show was cancelled in 2020, many of the 2021 tickets being used are from 2020, so there is not likely to be a lot of codes this year. Like every year, the codes are only good for certain shows on certain dates and that is determined by the Rockettes ticketing partner. The process is trial and error to find the right dates if you want to use discounts.

Hi Steve – I don’t know of any special discounts for the Christmas Spectacular, but as the codes above are all good for 20-50% off the ticket price, I can’t imagine a military discount would be any better. At the box office, you’ll pay retail price – the exact same as Ticketmaster, only without the print at home or shipping fees. So yes, you’ll save a little money buying at the box office, but the longer you wait to purchase, the lower the selection available as these tickets sell out like crazy.

Hi Beatrice: Per the Rockettes website, “Children less than 2 years old may attend without the purchase of a ticket, however, they may not occupy their own separate seat and must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap”

Where are the rear orchestra seats based in the auditorium please. Are they good seats… We are from Ireland and want to come and see your show.. Thanks x

Hi Paula. Radio City Music Hall seating areas include Orchestra + 3 mezzanines. The Orchestra section goes from row AA to ZZ and then A to W, which is a total of 50 rows. AA to ZZ is front Orchestra and A to W are rear Orchestra. The first 10 Orchestra rows or so are known for making the audience crank their neck up high to see the stage (kind of like the front row at a movie theater). The best seats in the house are generally mid-Orchestra, around MM to ZZ and the 400 section is dead center with the 500 section fanning out left and the 300 section fanning out right. For example, this site shows you views from different seats.
