• 15% late night/early morning surcharge for services scheduled to depart between 9:00pm-6:00am based on the standard service departure time. Service departure times from and to New Chitose Airport are calculated to be 30 mins after domestic flight arrival, 60 mins after international flight arrival and 60 mins prior to domestic flight departure, 120 mins prior to international flight departure.
• Bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Guests are encouraged to book at least 2 weeks in advance.
• Payment for any Concierge is due 7 days prior to Check-In. We reserve the right to cancel without notice any service we have not received payment for by this due date.
• Cancellation/amendments to bookings 7 to 5 days prior to the transfer date will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
• Cancellation/amendments to bookings 4 days or less prior to the transfer date will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
• Cancellation includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking and no shows.
• We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover against cancellations from delayed or cancelled flights. In the case of a cancellation/no show due to delayed or cancelled flights, 100% cancellation charge applies.
• SkyExpress cannot guarantee that they can provide the vehicle type that you ordered; in this case a vehicle of similar type or higher capacity shall be provided (eg. if you have booked a MAX3 service, they may supply a MAX8 or higher service vehicle). Vehicles may be substituted based on availability.

Sapporo airport private transfers faq.

•  How much is it from Niseko to Sapporo Airport? First of all, you need to select the model according to the number of passenger and the amount of luggage, and then we can quote. It is about 110 kilometers from Niseko to New Chitose Airport, which takes nearly two hours by car.
•  Can you provide 2 baby seats? The first child seat is free, and the second requires an additional $10. If your child is over 6 years old, we can also provide a free booster cushion.
•  We are 8 people, but carry 7 sets of skis and personal luggage. If there are more than 9 pieces of skis and luggage, the 10-seater van will not fit, and have to use the 20-seater Coaster minibus.
•  Ten of us want to rent your 10-seater Van from Sapporo Airport. In fact, the 10-seater van has only 9 passenger seats, In the case of luggage, only the 20-seater Coaster minibus can be used.
•  There are six of us with luggage, is a 7-seater Alphard minivan okay? 7-seater Alphard only have 6 passenger seats and 3 people need to sit on the second row. In this way, the third row of seats cannot be folded, and there is not enough luggage space. If there are more than 4 people and more than 4 suitcases, a 9-seater Hiace van is required.
•  How far is Noboribetsu from Sapporo Airport? Noboribetsu is about 80 kilometers away from New Chitose Airport, and the driving time is about 1.5 hours.
•  We need a car rental with driver service for 8 days, starting and ending at the Sapporo airport. The situation in Hokkaido is quite special, because it involves the cost of the driver's accommodation and the driving distance, so please send us a basic itinerary with arrival and departure flight information, so that we can give an accurate quotation.
•  How much is a chartered car from Sapporo Airport to Furano for a day? If the pick-up place is New Chitose Airport and drop off place is Furano, we need to subtract 3 hours from our standard 10 hours service time. Because our car is sent from Sapporo, we need to subtract the time to go to the airport and return to Sapporo from Furano. If you continue to use the car in Furano the next day, the driver will stay overnight, so the service time is 9 hours.
•  How much is a 9-seater van from New Chitose Airport to downtown Sapporo? Prices are different between high season and low season, please send us the exact date and flight information. If the flight arrives at Zhuang Airport later than 8 o'clock, we need to charge an additional USD20 of night service fee per hour.
• Rosalind Wong  Time:26-04-2024 I booked Japan Holiday for a car and driver for 7 days to travel out of Tokyo to the north of Honshu. Our group of 8 fitted into the 9- seater comfortably with luggage in April 2024. I planned the itinerary with their rep Lydia, who was always prompt and helpful with her replies and suggestions. She was quick to respond to queries which made the overall planning and booking process easier. The guide and driver Snake-San was wonderful, on time and accommodating. Everything was done professionally and we had a wonderful time. The price of the private tour was very reasonable as well. We were very happy with the service. I would recommend this company.

Niseko-Hirafu is located 110km from New Chitose Airport (CTS) which is the largest airport in Hokkaido and your gateway to Niseko, Sapporo and beyond. Travel time to the resort can vary depending on weather and road conditions and if you are planning to join us for a ski holiday you can expect it to be snowy.

• From Nov-Feb allow 2.5 - 3 hours
• From Mar-Oct allow 2 - 2.5 hours.

Coach transfers are reliable, comfortable, well priced and the most popular option.

• Although buses depart regularly from Chitose for Niseko, during busy times reservations are essential.
• Destination is the Hirafu Welcome Center (also called "Hirafu Parking lot #1")
• Refreshment stop half-way.

Taking the train from New Chitose Airport to Hirafu-Niseko requires a transfer at either Sapporo or Otaru city. If you are staying in Sapporo city we recommend the train as it’s the fastest and least expensive way to get to Sapporo City from New Chitose Airport.

• Airport to Niseko not recommended as requires transfer
• Pre-booking not necessary though not guaranteed a seat
• Note that it may not be possible to get a transfer from Hirafu Village to Kutchan Station before 07:00am.

Meeting Point at New Chitose Airport

Arrival Transfers Bus departure from New Chitose Airport must be at least 45 minutes after domestic flight arrival or 90 minutes after international flight arrival. Please go to the meeting point 15 min prior to your departure.

Departure Transfers Bus arrival at New Chitose Airport must be at least 60 minutes prior to domestic flights and 120 minutes prior to international flights.

Hirafu Welcome Center is the closest bus stop to Ki Niseko (about 500m from the hotel)

• This is an exclusive booking service for guests of Ki Niseko.
• Bookings must be made at least 10 days prior to the date of travel. Guests are encouraged to book as early as possible, as availability is limited.
• Guests arriving on delayed flights will be put on the next available coach where possible. Where guests are delayed and miss the last coach, or where guests are delayed/miss the coach for reasons other than delayed flights (e.g. missed flight), 100% cancellation fee applies. How to get to Rusutsu Resort

Rusutsu Resort is roughly equal distance from New Chitose Airport and Sapporo. For those starting their journey in one of these places, there are many options for transportation, including a short helicopter ride from the airport to Rusutsu Resort. There are also options to travel between Rusutsu Resort and nearby places such as Niseko and Lake Toya. Below we have detailed various options for transportation, and included links to printable documents that clearly detail all of the information you’ll need to get to or from Rusutsu Resort during your holiday. 

Travel between Rusutsu and nearby resorts

If you are staying in Rusutsu and looking to do a day trip to another resort , then we would love to transport you both ways. The best way to travel between Rusutsu and nearby resorts such as Niseko, Moiwa, Sapporo Teine or Sapporo Kokusai is by booking a full day of lessons or guiding . We will help you get your lift tickets ahead of time, pick you up at your hotel at your preferred time, and drop you off at the end of the day.

Interested in stopping for some food and drink, or to relax at an onsen on the way back? That can be arranged – we can completely customize the journey for you to and from the resort! Not to mention a fun-filled day of instruction or guiding at your chosen resort in-between. 

Travel between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort

There are multiple bus companies that operate routes between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort. The trip takes roughly 2 hours 15 minutes, and prices vary depending on the company you book with. Prior reservations are required for most services, and we recommend booking ahead.

Hokkaido Chuo Bus

Private Transfer

There are many companies operating private transfer services between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort. Private transfers are a great option if you want a comfortable, private ride that will leave at your schedule and potentially make stops for you along the route. Many companies advertise transfers to Niseko but are willing to take you to Rusutsu as well.

Sky Station provides transfers between New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu Resort. It is also possible to combine with a sightseeing trip on the way.

Helicopter Transfer

Rusutsu Resort is now accessible by Helicopter. The resort helicopter charter service will allow you a much quicker and more convenient way to travel to Rusutsu Resort from within Hokkaido.You can choose to depart or arrive from New Chitose Airport or other airports and resorts in Hokkaido.

Travel between Sapporo and Rusutsu Resort

There are multiple buses daily from Sapporo to Rusutsu Resort. Some of the same companies that operate from New Chitose Airport also have routes that begin/end in Sapporo city. Prices vary as do pick-up/drop-off locations; some buses only stop at the Sapporo bus station terminal, while others will pick-up/drop-off at various hotels around the city. There is also a free daily shuttle bus for Rusutsu Resort guests that leaves from nearby Sapporo station.

Free Shuttle Bus

There is a free bus for Rusutsu Resort guests that travels between Sapporo and Rusutsu Resort daily. Reservations must be made by 17:00, 1 day prior to departure date. Online reservations will be available starting mid-October.
