To ensure the highest quality experience, we strongly recommend reservations. When you reserve a tour, we schedule our highly trained guides and support staff to make your Walking tour as amazing as possible. For this reason we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations and rescheduling of tours. If you fail to meet your appointment, we still incur the same expenses and may have turned others away. Therefore, those guests who fail to show for a reservation or cancel without proper notice will be charged the full tour price for the reserved spaces.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy: If you or anyone in your reservation are exhibiting ANY symptoms of COVID-19 please contact us immediately.  We will offer a full refund for your tour.

Weather Policy

We can operate Walking Tours in almost any weather conditions and can keep the tour 85% indoors. We will not operate Walking tours in hazardous storms with severe thunder and lightning, moderate-heavy rain, or snowy conditions that could be hazardous. We reserve the right to cancel your tour if presented with inclement circumstances. Please call first if you have concerns about the weather. We will call only if we are certain you tour will not run, in which case you will be refunded if re-scheduling is unavailable.

Having met your guide at 11 Gristmill Lane, in the heart of the popular Toronto neighbourhood known as the  Distillery District , you'll receive a brief lesson on how to safely ride a Segway. Pop on your helmet, and off you go!

How was alcohol distilled in this area of Toronto? Why did Canadian drinks become so famous? Why did the neighbourhood go into decline and what has caused its recent resurgence as a popular leisure centre in the city? Excellent narrative of the history of the Distillery Area. Segway even better !! Easy to find weather not bad !

Our trainer for the segways was approachable and made the training fun. This made you feel at ease and more relaxed when it was your turn to familiarize yourself with how to ride one. Our tour guides (Nicole/Milo) had great stories to tell about the history of the Distillery District that were informative but not boring which made it that much more enjoyable. A definite must do on the bucket list.

Did the ghost segway tour with Eric it was awesome Eric is super funny and knows his stuff. Even things outside the tour so definitely pick his brain! Super awesome dude and fun to talk too and interesting too if u chat him up. 10/10 reccomnend anyone to go. Even beginners who have never ridden a segway like me u pick it up fast, plus its just fun!

We did a Segway tour yesterday with Sebastian and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was plenty of training to ensure everyone understood how to operate the Segway safely meaning no mishaps along the way. The tour was hugely informative about the history of shrilling in Toronto but for me involved too little Segway and too much history. I did this before in Madrid and saw loads of the city which for me is the point whereas here you covered one square city block multiple ways so I think the Conakry should look for the er afield at perhaps lakefront to make for more interesting tours ? The district is a must see with great restaurants and shops to browse though Rob

We loved Nicole, she was a great "mobile tour guide", she has a tremendous amount of knowledge and endless energy, she made it fun, and we had a blast on the segways and we loved the chance to see all of the Distillery District the segway way! Nicole provided the history, some fun facts, and some fabulous recommendations on what we should do after our tour and where to find restaurants! We also felt safe with Nicole, she took the time to make sure that we were all sufficiently trained and kept an eye on us as we improved our segway operating skills! Soon corners and inclines became a thing of the past, and we had a blast turning and weaving, and I cannot wait to schedule another trip with Nicole when friends come to visit Toronto. Lastly, I have a problem walking long distances, and so the segway was an easier way for me to get around as I stood on the segway and let it do the work! This was a lot of fun...you get to know the Distillery District pretty well and get a light history of the area and Toronto. My wife and I really enjoyed it.

My favorite part that is tutor (tour guide) David was patiently taught the participants to know how to handle the Segway. It was an interesting experience tour rather than just a normal sightseeing tour. I've good time with my buddies to join this activity. I would like to join the Segway tour again in next time.
