Budget Tour /Correction
The hotel we stayed in during the 09 Boston Fall Foliage Tour the $45.00 was a special rate for weekends during Aug, just found my notes. I discovered the low cost of this hotel in the little travel books left at restaurants for discounted rooms. Reviews posted on Trip Advisor is where the $45.00 Aug. weekend rate came from. I will in the future always check Trip Advisors about the hotels we will be staying at. One of the things about Mulvihill is you do know where you will be staying until about 2 weeks before departure date for certain tours.. Not like some of the fine tour companies in our area that will post before you pay where you will be staying. That about sums up my experience with Mulvihill. Goodbye.
Budget Tour
Oct. 09 Boston Fall Foliage Tour was below a Budget Tour in my opinion. Bus too high to get to our airport terminal for arrival and departure. Hotel was not up to the standards of Mulivihill previous tours. Room could be purchased for $45.00 night at Priceline for 7 night stay. Food, breakfast was not even good, Apple Crisp 3 nights in a row, clam chowder 7 times, Sunday roast beef for lunch and dinner. Tour guide could not tell us where the bus was going when asked. Rode by a lot of places and went in very few, around 2,200 miles. Small tour of 23, previous tours more people, could number of people have anything to do with where you stay, what you eat and what you see with Mulivhill. After I complained to Mulivhill I received a letter informing me Mulvihill is not the company for us & wish us many trips on other fine companies in our area. We have traveled many times with other fine companies and this is how we know this was a budget trip for what we paid.
