DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1: Division I details
A whole new landscape means a new tournament organizer. With the departure of Beyond The Summit, a new organization will take the helm of hosting SEA DPC. Introducing Epulze , a Swedish esports company that has a substantial track record in running Dota 2 tournaments since 2018 .
This is, however, their first rodeo on DPC. As usual, a $205,000 USD prize pool is allocated to the first season of this tournament, and the top four teams will earn DPC points and secure a slot in the Dota 2 Major.
DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1: Division I schedule
The SEA DPC for Division I will occur between Jan. 9-30. Here is the schedule (as for now) for the Tour 1 Division I SEA DPC.

In the first season of SEA DPC, old friends reunite while new ones make their debut. The eight teams of SEA DPC Division I are as follows: Blacklist International, Bleed Esports, BOOM Esports, Execration, Fnatic, Geek Fam, Talon Esports and Team SMG .
Blacklist International
- Marc "Raven" Fausto
- Karl "Karl" Baldovino
- Carlo "Kuku" Palad
- Timothy "TIMS" Randrup
- Nico "eyyou" Barcelon
One of the new names to enter Dota 2 DPC; Blacklist International is a Philippines-based esports team that has acquired RSG's DPC slot and will feature a full Filipino squad. Former TNC Predator teammates Raven, TIMS and Kuku reunite. Kuku's other former teammate, Karl, from his days on T1 will join the flay as well along with Polaris Esports' support player eyyou.
Bleed Esports
- Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong
- Teng "Kordan"
- Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee
- Prieme "PlayHard" Banquil
- Kim "DuBu" Doo-young
Another newcomer to Dota 2 DPC; Bleed Esports, a Singaporean-based esports team will feature a wholly international squad. Former BOOM Esports star carry JaCkky will headline as the carry along with former TSM support Dubu who came home to SEA after a long journey in North America. Bleed will also feature former Neon Esports players Masaros and PlayHard as well as a completely new challenger, Kordan.
BOOM Esports
- John "Natsumi-" Vargas
- Erin "Yopaj" Ferrer
- Saieful "Fbz" Ilham
- Kenny "Xepher" Deo
- Yap "xNova" Jian Wei
After an incredible TI11 run, fans would've wanted to see all BOOM players stick together. However, reality isn't so kind and everyone eventually has their own journey to take. That said, BOOM is turning up with some incredible names such as Xepher from T1 and the legend who walked with teddy bears, xNova.
- Jinn "Palos" Lamatao
- Mark "Bob" Urbina
- Justine "Tino" Grimaldo
- Mark "Shanks" Redira
- Juan "BDz" Manalo
A household name that has been bouncing back and forth Division I and II; Execration is looking to stand strong and hold its ground in Division I. Will they finally be able to go all the way to the end? Just like Blacklist International, Execration is the only other team that will feature a full Filipino squad.
- Kim "Gabbi" Santos
SEA favorite, Fnatic, is here to stay with some minor changes. They have traded their former captain, Jabz, for Talon Esports offlaner kpii. Additionally, Fnatic onboarded Gabbi to bring forth yet another TNC Predator reunion with Armel.
- Rolen "skem" Ong
- Joshua "Kokz" Maraño
- Nikko "Force" Bilocura
- Ravdan "NARMAN" Narmandakh
- Roger "Roddgeee" Tan
One of the most anticipated teams, Geek Fam makes a return to Dota 2 after a two-year hiatus. They have had some practice by participating and placing second in the recent Beyond The Summit Pro Series Season 13: South-East Asia and will undoubtedly bring some high-class Dota for the DPC.
Talon Esports
- Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon
- Rafli "Mikoto" Rahman
- Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong
- Worawit "Q" Mekchai
- Chan "Oli" Chon Kien
The prophetic team who came all the way from Division II in 2022 to play in a Major and TI11. Talon features the first player to reach 13k MMR, 23savage along with new additions Jabz from Fnatic and Oli~ from Invictus Gaming.
- Lee "CDR" Jia He
- Kam "Moon" Boon Seng
- Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng
- Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan
- Marvin "Boomy" Rushton
They made sure to register in time; Team SMG has had some missed opportunities due to internal mishaps, but they shall remain headstrong and will forge onward. Will this year finally be this Malaysian-based team's time to shine?
